Not a very good law firm you speak to a very knowledgeable very intelligent person at first and then you get stuck with another attorney that does not fully handle the situation properly. Then adds fees can't show up on time and does not do exactly what you asked from the first point of contact before the retainer was even placed. They ask for more money much like trying to hire a contractor you hire I'm thinking they're going to do the work and then when they get to start the work they claim they need more money. Even though it was claimed in the beginning exactly what was needed.

Well where to start. For everyone a divorce is one of those moments in life where you start questioning yourself....what did i do wrong for all these years?.........I did so much and why do i deserve to go through this after being there for everybody when i actually needed some support at some point and nobody was there for me...........immediately you start panicking about finances of course.........like having to see your kids on weekends or having to worry about how they will be when they are not with you..........will they do their homework's........will they eat properly..........will they go to bed in time since school is on tomorrow.......how they will react when you soon to be ex spouse will start bringing another person into the equation that you don't approve of.........well that's when my crusade started looking for a legal counsel and when i found Mr Salamone everything changed.......at first you are a little baffled when he shows us in his python boots driving his well deserved Lamborghini........you start thinking.....who is this guy......well my father always told me........judge the other person by his failures not by his successes......Bryan has so little ones that honestly at this point after knowing him for over 10 years......yes over 10 years now I don't even recall him having any that i know of! I remember the last time I was in Court... the infamous building that gives you the creeps that morning when you walk through the doors not knowing what to expect and all of the sudden he is there waiting for you (yes he is always on time) with his great smile, the only anchor of safety you were praying for while you had to take a day off from work concerned of what it will bring, and all of the sudden you have a sense of tranquility knowing he has your back. His confidence while he walks in the room is mesmerizing and the best part is that in few sentences he set the pace where the judge just listens to him while the counterpart is there waiting for the next unexpected statement fall on their heads like a hammer..........I will always remember the day Bryan walks in with the posture of a Greek Statue and another lawyer whispered in my ex lawyer..........."that's Bryan Salamone is he representing the defendant? He will bury your client" I was in the corridor listening to the conversation myself before going in front of the judge and i got goose bumps..........i still do today!.......you may wonder why after some time has passed I am doing this review.....Bryan just came out of a fiery car accident not so long ago and he is here with us despite all the odds.......he is not just one of those hungry lawyers we are all used to on long island (as a matter of fact his retainer is one of the lowest ones believe me....) he is there for you.......always......i just had a situation with my current wife's child support for her previous marriage that i had to help her with and i texted Bryan on his personal cellphone at 10:28PM and guess what..........he answered within minutes! Now tell me if there is ANY lawyer in the ENTIRE state of NEW YORK that would do that! He runs a very successful office in Melville and other locations and he had hundreds clients and he actually answered me way passed many people bed time! that's commitment, dedication, affection for his clients that goes beyond all the bullshit reviews you see on other so called lawyers websites! They show their veneers with bleach white teeth and while they are having their favorite steak at Peter Luger's on your tab they are too busy to answer especially in a such delicate moment of your life while you need to take some Benadryl just to fall asleep hoping that tomorrow for some magic your nightmares will disappear! Well don't go to CVS to get that and do yourself a favor and call him......the ladies at the office are absolutely marvellous.....you ask for an emergency call back and that's the only ONE call you have to make before Bryan in person calls you back. You are simply the best...........

He has very poor communication skills. Not only will Matt not return your phone calls or emails but he will not even respond to the other parties attorney. Talk about unprofessional! During the consultation he seems like he will get things done for you, but the second he gets his retainer money from you he stops caring about you. He gets his payday all up front so there is no way to hold him accountable. Something else that is just not right is that when we talk about the details of my divorce offer he just emails it to the other lawyer without giving me a chance to look it over first. The other party is always given a copy of everything their lawyer does for them and even has to send it to me so that I can see it!! Divorce is not an easy thing to go through and choosing him was a HUGE MISTAKE. I wanted someone to help me navigate my way through the divorce process and tell me what has to be done but instead I feel like I am blindly stumbling through the process alone while the other party has someone actually fighting for them.

The best decision I made was hiring Cannon Kearney to represent my fiance with his child support case. Every attorneys office I called prior to him wanted a consultation fee without even hearing the situation or our needs. Cannon was the first one to not mention a fee and listen to what we had going on first which completely won my business. All I needed was someone to listen and he did just that. Throughout the process he was very hands on and communicative. The case results were in our favor and beyond what we expected and wanted. And that was thanks to Mr. Kearney expertise and guidance. Thanks to him we have peace. Everyone know how stressful a child support case can be but everytime we got on the phone with Mr. Kearney he just listened from day one and that meant a lot. I can go on and on about this experience, needless to say that his efficiency saved us a lot of time and stress and for that I am grateful.

I contacted Jill for a support arrears case. Jill had stated that she worked for Cayuga county support for years, I thought I would be okay.
She had told me that support court is a court of equity and then tried to solicit a $4,000 retainer, I paused as she seemed shady.
Then she started contacting me at 1:00 and 2:00 a.m. with statements to the like that she will contact me anytime that she wants and that I would be lucky if she contacted me within 2 weeks if I had left a message. This all happened out of the blue, I did not try to contact her after hours.
By New York state law support court is not a court of equity, working for a Cayuga county support for so long she had to have known this and was just looking for my retainer. I would never hire her and I have contacted the New York State bar association about her deception.

I called his office needing an attorney ASAP He talked to me I thought that was good for a short time as it may of been close to closing. After he got his retainer he did nothing. No document production, no motion to get documents from prior counsel. Seven months. He told me nothing. He even tried settling my case without my knowledge. I know because I saw his email from another counsel. He must have made a deal with the other side without my knowledge because he harmed me terribly in my case.

Doug has worked on my case tirelessly for over a year. His knowledge of the law and consideration of an exceedingly delicate situation has been extraordinary. He has both been incredibly professional and personable. I would recommend Doug to anyone who is in need of someone that is both caring and requires an attorney who is well-versed in the nuances of the law.
In my case, Doug was able to change a seemingly impossible situation - an "onion that needed to be peeled layer by layer" as he put it. He is very thoughtful of the fact that my ex is extremely abusive and helped prepare me for what abusers typically make their next steps. In doing so, I have been better able to care for my children in devastating circumstances. He also has helped me better understand the legal process and what is typical vs atypical in the court room. Having that background, the legal jargon and proceedings were easier to comprehend in what has previously been very overwhelming.
While my case is not finished yet, I expect Doug to keep fighting with the veracity and intelligence that he has exhibited thus far and will post again at the conclusion of my case! I think the best I can say so far is thank you for everything Doug!

I had an attorney and was not happy with her services. I consulted several lawyers, all of whom wanted my case for a significant retainer. I consulted with Mr. Barics who reviewed my case, and said that my current counsel was properly representing me. He explained in detail what should be done and what to do if the judge didn't do what she was supposed to do.
I was ready to change lawyers, and Mr. Barics was high on the list. However, his honesty in telling me to stay with my current counsel and declining to accept a large retainer is worthy of mention.
I stayed with my existing attorney, and the case proceeded nearly exactly how Mr. Barics predicted it would.
I did not retain Mr. Barics then, but I am impressed he would decline a client when he felt the client was properly represented with current counsel.
My former attorney has since retired and if I need new counsel Mr. Barics would be my first choice.

This attorney is only concerned with money and how much she can make off of you. She will promise you great results, then get you involved in a living hell. At first she seems sincere and determined to help me but that quickly turned into raking up extra unnecessary bills and invoices. She prioritized clients as paychecks, never responded to calls/texts/emails until the last possible second. She not only wasted thousands of my dollars but also years dragging on my divorce! She is my sons attorney and she really cares about him. I know she does her job from the heart and fights for what's right. When everyone was trying to put me down and my lawyer was absent she really did and said what she could to stick up for me and not make me look like a terrible person or mother and also stuck by my sons side at the same time. Today was my sons birthday and he passed away and I had court today and had a lot on my mind and she really made me feel better like I'm worthy and not a piece of trash. She's a mother and I know a mother understands that we fight for our kids. The worst experience with an attorney ever!! Gave us false advice - and then backed out on his words, even though 2 other people, including another attorney, were present on the conversation. We all heard the same thing. Because of his bad advise we lost a buyer, and took bunch of unnecessary actions. All in all, because of him we lost 70k.

I unfortunately had hired this lawyer to represent me in court. I won’t recommend her as a lawyer because of her poor performance. She lives in some imaginary world where she believes she a good one. In reality, she is not. I only had wasted my money and didn’t get the best possible outcome.

This lawyer is very unprofessional. I had hired and consulted with her in 2022 for my legal matters. She gave a lot of bad legal advices. I really question her legal credibility. She lacks simple ethics when talking to clients. It seems that she still lives back in 80-90s era. She doesn’t know any new laws or updates.
