I was in a custody/divorce case in 2013/2014 and Susan was my savior during that time. She got back to me in a timely manner when I had questions or information to give her. After 5 years, 5 attorneys and 25k latter i was blessed to find Mrs. Susan Lorene Ray to take over those useless attorneys that took their time just to profit from my situation and probably never even looked at my file. What all the others attorneys couldn't do in 5 years Susan did in such a little time with excellent results. She is passionate in what she does and treats everyone on her side with so much respect and care ,On the other hand she is very aggressive protecting your interest, Just what i was looking for. When compared to the other 5 attorneys they were not even close to her expertise. when i was at a hearing I had the other attorney tried to intimidate me but Susan came to my rescue and put him in his place, She intimidate me and i was on her side, That was awesome. For the rest of my life, I will regret having hired Elena M. Perez as my divorce attorney. From the very beginning, I usually had to deal with her assistant, because Miss Perez was 'not available'.
The few times I was able to speak to her, she never seemed to remember what we had discussed the last time we spoke. After almost 2 1/2 YEARS as her client, she decided to drop me. This could have been a simple divorce. I paid her a few thousand dollars for (what I consider) to be nothing, because I had to hire another attorney (who got everything resolved in about 2 1/2 MONTHS). In the beginning, I was 'okay' speaking to her paralegal (Maggie), but after a while, I discovered they were practically one and the same. The only difference was that Maggie was much more 'accessible' and had a much better memory. When I complained to Maggie about Ms. Perez' memory, she admitted to me that it wasn't a very good one. Their receptionist could not speak English. It was not long after I became their client, that the receptionist left. After I received a call from Ms. Perez that she had decided to drop me as a client, I received a call from her paralegal who offered to come to court with me on the last court date and she would help 'walk me through it' and also said that I should not tell Ms. Perez that she was going to do that for me. She told me she would not charge me so much as Ms. Perez since she was just a paralegal. I found out later from another attorney's office that the judge would not have allowed that. Yet Maggie had asked me for some upfront money. I have text messages and emails on my phone which can testify to most of what I have to say about this 'divorce attorney' and her co-workers. Some things, however, were discussed by phone so I have no way to prove those things. The last conversation I remember having with Ms. Perez (after she dropped me), was to request my records. At that point, she said: "but I thought you were going to allow Maggie to go to the Courthouse with you on the final date." Sounded to me like they were in on this from the moment Maggie said she would 'help' me - without Ms. Perez' knowledge. Very unprofessional 'team'. I would not let Miss Perez represent me if she would offer to do it for free.

I can't even begin to put into words my review for the ME Law Firm. I seriously could write a book. You know it's just a tough situation when you need to hire an attorney. Regardless of who's at fault or what is going on. It's a very emotionally tough position to be in. Adam Russo, Jon Eichelberger & staff are nothing short of amazing, wonderful people. Every email, phone call or text was handled with the upmost respect and treating us like human beings and not just another number. Although our situation was not unique, it was very stressful to say the least. It was nice to not be judged but to be told, everything will be okay and here's the plan of action and for it to be actually true. We were kept informed consistently, never kept in the dark, given great advice and able to speak to a live person. I wish I could give a lower rating. If you are considering bankruptcy, please do NOT use this office for anything. They are unorganized and unprofessional. We hired Tony to look into bankruptcy options for my wife and me. Tony and Nancy rushed us for the $5,000 payment and took over two weeks to give us the starting paperwork to know what information they needed. We never signed any agreement or retainer and we had to call or e-mail every day to get information about what they needed (Also because they take their time responding). Nothing was clear from the start, and when you called and emailed to ask questions, Nancy and Tony became agitated and angry. They didn't want us as clients anymore because WE ASKED TOO MANY QUESTIONS! It's really ridiculous on so many levels. He and the office don't provide you with the necessary information on what is needed for them to get the process going, and then they get upset when you ask questions regarding what is needed. The icing on the cake was, after parting ways, the office still is trying to charge us over $1,600 for their "time." When you hire a bankruptcy attorney, you hire them for the job, not hourly. They got frustrated with questions and now want to try and charge their clients for their "time." LOL, I guess the joke is on them because they won't see that money, or at the very least, we won't be paying for it.

Please dont hire this attorney!!! Had the worst experience in my consultation. The guy was RUDE, didnt even allowed me to explain my whole legal situation, within 5 minutes he was already dismissing me without any help, recommendation or consultation on his part. Did not seem to care whatsoever about my situation, his answers were quick and short like rushing me to get out of his office. He showed no empathy or even courtesy at the time. The guy simply doest not care much to help his clients or and honestly treats people like garbage. Now I understand why he was working out of a diminute multiuse office facility with pretty much no staff. Do your self a favor seek the help you deserve somewhere else. Legal matters are serius and you will not want to trust someone so incompetent like this attorney.

Due to a series of events, including a divorce, I had accumulated an amount of debt that was staggering to me. Terrible experience with this office. The secretary got my information incorrect several times then had to constantly ask for the same information after it was sitting right in front of her. You were hired and paid in full $1700 for a chapter 7. It took you weeks to get back to me that you couldn't file chapter 7 for me because i made too much money.
When i said ok i no longer need your services then, you kept trying to sell me on a chapter 13. I had to fire Chris Crowder before he could even get hired. Too bad i had paid in full (very stupid on my part) Chris Crowder said i can only give you like $500 back. He tried to rob me of $1200 after he couldn't proceed with what he was hired to do. I have filed a formal complaint with the Fl bar association. His simple response of "why are you getting mad at me? I didn't get you into this situation." You are absolutely correct.
Every bit of information in the consultation is crucial and i learned the hard way. He never went over, working overtime as such a critical impact and i realized that. But for you to lock the doors of your business after telling me you're keeping $1200 is pathetic. You are a pathetic sad and weak individual. I will never do business with you nor will i recommend anyone to do business with you. You are a scummy lawyer and that is it.
When it was all said and done i was refunded $1000. So he got $700 to tell me he couldnt do anything for me. I have yet to see a receipt for what that $700 has gone to.

Between a forced career change due to covid and going through a divorce at the same time I had developed a terrible financial situation and had become overwhelmed with debt. Mr. Lewis and Mr. Jurnovoy made my bankruptcy quick and painless. They explained exactly how everything would work, how long it would take, and how much it would cost at the very first meeting. They made sure the entire process was very smooth and painless. I never was told the total would be $1690. I was immediately told pay $700 up front. I only noticed the $1690 on the receipt. I was then charged $100 for the FREE CONSULTATION of 7 minutes. The $100 was deducted when I asked for a refund of $700 a couple of days later, in LESS than one week's time. No reason for Jurnovoy to keep $100 when, because of their heavy workload from FOUR offices, he obviously had NOT started work on my case. I've asked for my $100 to be returned, LEWIS AND JOURNOVOY IGNORES IT. I am a sitting target. Single, 75 years old, cancer victim. They kept my LAST DIME.

Epic bad experience/waste of money, time and energy. To be succinct his staff couldn't be more rude and unhelpful which is actually the highlight of his practice. I made at least 13 unreturned phone calls to his office. With an impending hearing I felt desperate and disconnected from my case which involved my home. As my court date drew near I had no recourse but to call the Florida Bar. They were extremely professional and helpful and explained that they would send him a letter (which would take about 10 days). When I explained that my hearing was in less time than that they asked me to hold and called his office immediately. They returned to the line and indicated that he would be calling me. Surprisingly, he did. He was very agitated that I had the gaul to call the Bar. It was obvious that the only reason he called was because he was being exposed for the unprofessional he is. I wouldn't hire this guy to detail my car, much less do important legal work. You are the reason people group lawyers in with used car salesmen.

I had my initial visit with Mr. Wolfe, and I paid $100.00, which was a fee. On 4.14.23, I made another payment to Mr. Wolfe in the amount of $375.00. I was making installments toward my bankruptcy. I actually, called prior to that last payment to pay the bankruptcy in full. But, I never could get Mr. Wolfe on the phone. When, I did speak with him, I only made a payment, instead of the full amount. Well, Mr. Wolfe went ghost on me after, taking my money and not providing me with any service. I've tried to reach out to him numerous times and have stopped by and left a message , No Call, and NO REFUND.

Do not use this lawyer. We contracted his services in February of 2022. He rarely returned calls or emails. When the time came to Zoom call with the magistrate he was totally unprepared such that the magistrate became so annoyed, he shut down the session. We paid Mr. Karle over $6000 for absolutely nothing. He did not disclose to us that he had a neurological disease that impaired his ability to represent.

Mr. Philip does not return phone calls or emails, always have an excuse that he never received them. Presented himself as a knowledgeable contract dispute attorney, which he is not, suffers from lack of knowledge in business transactions and almost cost us to lose a lawsuit that he supposedly was representing us. Found out that he had previous complains with the Florida bar, he is refusing to give us back the whole file and also receipts for all the funds that he collected in the pass. Will never recommend him and his services to anyone due to the fact that they are extremely poor and unprofessional and that the complainant has been already filed against him and he was reprimanded by the Florida bar.

This review is actually about an attorney that practices from Mr Alexander's offices, Amber J Hines.
Amber represented a bankruptcy case filed 04/2018. At the very best I could say Amber represented the case adequately. I mean she was present at the meetings, but did nothing to effect the outcome of the case, good or bad. Her over lack of professionalism and due diligence were severely lacking. After all, do you want someone representing you that does the bare minimum or would you rather someone represent your case with the attention to detail you deserve?
There were several instances that illustrate my disappointment with how the case was handled, but I'll just list a couple. The case had only two items of value to be accounted for, both of which were listed in the only document provided to Amber, a dissolution of marriage. However there was a "checklist " Amber provided to list assets, unfortunately, being average citizens, we didn't realize in the middle of this checklist Amber provided was a simple yes or no that would cause a list of extra problems for our case. This was, in my opinion, something that our attorney should have found through her, self described, "diligent and effective representation". She did not, and when confronted about this, Amber's reply was "well I gave you the checklist to complete, you checked the wrong box". Thank you very much, please accept this $1500 for your representation.
This caused there to be yet another meeting with the trustee and an amendment having to be completed, thus throwing up a red flag to the trustee to investigate further and cause yet another meeting to occur. How did he find this "hidden" asset (worth $500 at very most and sold 18months prior to filing) but Amber did not when she was "diligently and effectively" representing the case? Her response was simple, I don't usually read through divorces". Ummm....ok. Maybe you should start, they're kind of important. Especially when it is the ONLY document to review.
Amber also likes to email correspondence at close of business on a Friday. This happened multiple times. Are you trying to NOT correspond?!? One of these correspondences causes a rushed trip to the DMV to try and provide some documentation to help support the case, again after 4pm on a Friday for something that HAD to happen THAT day. Again, thanks for the heads up.
Also ended up with a final invoice for $16 described as "copies and postage". I would have thought the $1500 retainer would have covered this, apparently not.
Unfortunate this experience is probably the norm, but specifically concerning this attorney I'd say FAIL and to try your luck elsewhere. I will say Amber was very polite and nice, but not professional.

I contacted Amber Hines via email and had hoped to meet for a consultation. She responded promptly and asked when was I available to meet. After giving her my availability she never replied. I emailed again. Unfortunately I never heard back from her. I was disappointed to say the least as this was my first time reaching out to a lawyer for assistance. If she was unavailable, I would think she could have at least emailed me back, followed up, and treated me as though I was a potential and meaningful client. Very unprofessional.

These guys are scammers. STAY AWAY. Will say that you owe tax money to the government and give you no proof of anything of the sort. After you've finished your business with them they'll send you an email years later saying you still owe money and then will send you an invoice for over 1.2K for sending you an update about work they never did. Then when you try to call to resolve the matter, they won't pick up the phone. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.

Bryan was very thorough in explaining the bankruptcy process. He even took the time to meet with me on a Saturday to fit my work schefule. Clear expectations were set, debt couseling courses were provided. Al Mickler was with me for my 341 meeting. He was very experienced and down to earth. Their receptionist Barbara was very warm and welcoming. Their fees were less than other attorneys in the area. And for the record, I like the cat in the office lol. I never thought filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy would be so simple.

He took my money and then it was down hill from there. No response to my call even hung up on me. I had nothing now I have less than nothing. Cost me everything in my house and vehicle. Just be careful. Oh yes the cat walks all over the conference room on paper work and tries to get on people. Terrible no professionalism. I was even told by another attorney that I was not a candidate for bankruptcy but Mickler took my money anyway. Now I am in debt to him also plus the trustee.
