The team at Buddy Ford's practice is thorough, professional, attentive, and extremely knowledgable. Buddy's experience shines through in his leadership of the cases and is perfectly complemented by his team, especially in working with Jonathan Seamch. Unfortunately, my wife and I had to navigate both a business Chapter 7 and a personal Chapter 11. Through the efforts of the team at Buddy Ford's law offices we were able to do so minimizing the financial impact to our living requirements as well as the time required so that we could focus on the work necessary to rebuild from the consequences of the bankruptcies. They are clearly respected by both the courts and trustees in the Tampa area which was very important in negotiating successful settlements in both cases. I hope to never be in a position to require the services of Buddy Ford again, but if I were, I wouldn't hesitate to call on them.

We had the pleasure of working with Daniel Etinger. He was very professional , “ down to earth “, kind and completely honest. He did a lot of research and background checking for us. Several emails, phone calls and a face to face meeting, (that he offered to us as a virtual mtg to save us the trip). At the conclusion HE felt it wouldn’t be “ beneficial “ for us to retain him. (We were a creditor). He said the decision was ours. We took his advice. He DID NOT charge us ANY fee for all his effort. Our experience was WONDERFUL. We would highly recommend Dan and his law firm.

If you have an amicable divorce go to a mediator or give a small retainer fee. This office has a NON-refundable refund for retainers. My case was during the holidays and after we signed everything the office went silent. I had to email to check status and then they would move the case. I wasn't even informed on when my divorce was finalized, I found it on public records. Although I am knowledgeable and know it was my mistake for not reading the terms, I hope this helps someone to ask about refundable retainer fees. My divorce billable hours were about 2,500. My retainer fee was 5,500 so the office made an easy $2,900.00. Hope this review helps someone in the future!

My first impression of Hunter was he was very capable and wanted his fees as soon as possible (cash). As the Bankruptcy case continued throughout the months Hunter was open to some phone calls, I found out that Emailing Hunter was the best way of getting the answers I needed as soon as I needed them, but if Hunter felt that the questions weren’t worth his time Hunter never replied at all. Hunter’s staff seemed very young and I did have some problem there. The Bankruptcy case continued as long as Hunter was paid on time. I met with Hunter in his Office a number of times as required as the case progressed. I found Hunter at times to be superior and had an attitude when asking him direct questions about my case. “I’m not an Attorney…So I felt humiliated when Hunter laughed at me after asking a question I didn’t understand, this was so unprofessional, I stood up and walked out of this office so mad I could spit nails! The case was completed and the out-come was favorable. Would I recommend Hunter, yes! “But Hunter needs to work on his people skills and I mean work!!!

my case began in 2010 until the discharge in 2015. during my case, i told him i wanted him to be able to get rid of my timeshare so that i no longer will be responsible for the upcoming annual maintenance fees. he said that my ex husband would be responsible for it, and i would not. there must have been a misunderstanding, because throughout my case, i called/emailed him to try to get rid of the timeshare, and he was difficult to reach, and at times would not respond to my emails. it was 2017, and the timeshare was still harassing me about paying the maintenance fees even though in 2015 they began a process for foreclosure. i continued to email and call hunter to help, and he not once said he would take care of it, but rather tell me to get a quitclaim deed, or pay him to draft up a letter to them that may not potentially work. i felt duped regarding that, and frustrated with the miscommunications. even now, he says to basically wait until the foreclosure occurs, then they will leave me alone. He has since contacted me, and tried to make amends to my situation. Although he could not help with the damage that has been done, he at least clarified the misunderstandings.

My husband and I ended up in a tough situation. Hunter and his office walked us through our Chapter 13. Chapter 13 isn't easy, but Hunter worked with us to create a plan when it was needed. Hunter worked with us through the 5 year plan and has continued to help us with some of the residual effects. Hunter always responded to my emails and phone calls. He has been honest with us throughout.

Sold my home by owner and Mr. Moreno was referred to me. He made what could have been a nightmare into the easiest transaction possible. I found the buyer, he drew up the contract. I then delivered the earnest money check and the signed contract. He did the rest. His office staff kept me informed all along the way and they were courteous and polite. At closing, Mr. Moreno took his time to answer all my questions and my buyer's questions as well. Mr. Moreno is a true professional and I would definitely call on him again for all my real estate needs.

READ THIS AND CHECK OTHER REVIEWS.. FIND SOMEONE ELSE. I hired this attorney back in July 2024 on a case against a car dealership and since then I have not been able to get any communication back from him or his office regarding the status of this case. In fact, the last I heard from him was October in which he states he will get back with me on an update. Many many phone calls and messages left for him and many many unanswered emails later i have heard not one word back. I paid his fee in full when I hired him and now am left with no result. I will be getting with the Florida Bar and submitting a complaint there also.

Heather exceeded all of my expectations. Before I hired her I had offered the creditor $5000 to dismiss the suit. They refused. Once she became involved they eventually dropped the suit for nothing. She is the most professional effective attorney in her field. I can’t recommend her enough.

I was unfortunately involved in a serious auto accident that involved a county school bus that hit me after running a stop sign, my car was totaled and I was injured and required surgery and was out of work for about 9 weeks. I was referred to Blake Dolman for legal advice and representation. The county's initial offer for compensation was ridiculous. Blake and his team worked very hard for months to make sure that I got the amount that I was entitled to after this terrible accident, they involved me at every step and did not allow the county to minimized the damage caused to me, my life and my job. I had medical and emotional issues that had been brought on by the devastating housing market collapse. Our whole world was crashing down all around us. Everywhere we turned, there was more trouble rearing its ugly head. We ended up having two homes foreclosed, medical and regular bills were piling up and my family of 4 was literally homeless! Our wonderful neighbor opened her home to us and was truly our angel in our time of tribulation. We were experiencing very serious and life changing issues which none of the things were of our own doing. Todd Lewis was referred to us by a family friend. We didn’t know what to do or whom to ask to know what to do! It was a very scary and humbling time, the darkest days I have ever experienced. But Todd was a breath of fresh air. He educated and encouraged us and helped us to remember that bad things do happen to good people. His direct approached helped us tremendously to stay focused and not dwell on the negativity of the circumstance but to look forward, take one day at a time and focus of “fixing” our situation to move forward in a positive manner.
Todd may have started out as our lawyer, but he quickly became our trusted friend!

I recently built a house in northern VA and I had a problem where a utility pole was in the front middle of my property that had three big utility companies wires on it (1 electric, 2 coax and 4 fiber cables). The pole was pretty much an eyesore. I tried to work with the utility companies for 2 years to get them to remove it since they didn't have an easement but that did not go anywhere until I retained Mr. Todd Lewis to represent me. Thanks to Todd, all three utility company were gone off the pole and the pole was removed. The cost to get that done was less than 15% of what I would have to pay only one company to remove it. He did all this without having to go to court. Thank you Todd.
PS. I used to think that many lawyers just want to take your money until I worked with Todd. I am a true that lawyer like Todd will get your more for your buck, Todd proved it. Also, let's face it, not everyone can be a lawyer. Not only does Todd know the case laws, he also has the negotiations and mitigation skills that was required for my complicated case.
This review does not really do Todd justice. What he did and the pressure he put on those companies was phenomenal and saved me a lot of money.

I needed a attorney for bankruptcy and was refered to Kristina by a friend. I called her and set up an appointment. Upon meeting her, I liked her instantly. Her fee was reasonably and I retained her as my attorney. She scheduled appointments for my convenience, kept me advised on what was happening, told me what I needed to do and when to do it. The whole experience made me feel like I was dealing with a friend instead of an attorney. If you want an attorney thats “got your back” then choose Kristina. You won't be sorry you did.
