Allen is the best! He's the guy you want fighting for you. He's incredibly smart, personable, and encouraging. He often checked in with me not only to give me updates on my case, but just to see how I was doing. I needed hope and reassurance during this experience, and Allen was always there for me. Peter is an amazing attorney. He really is a miracle worker. Long story short I met with a bankruptcy attorney, Ralph Goldberg, to discuss my options for filing a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy. Without my permission or knowledge Mr. Goldberg filed chapter 7 bankruptcy which I had NOT authorized. Mr. Goldberg told me the filing could not be withdrawn. Peter was recommended to me by another attorney . I met with Peter & he agreed to take my case. He was able to get the false chapter 7 bankruptcy filing removed & undo the damage done by Mr. Goldberg. I highly recommend Peter.

Mr. Bricks was tremendous help in my personal injury case. My father had worked with him on a bankruptcy case a few years ago and after my car accident, Mr. Bricks came highly recommended. Peter and his associate attorney assisted me through my Chapter 7 bankruptcy and represented me at the trustee meeting. Very efficient. Very timely and helpful with email communication. Price was half what some of the other attorneys are charging (which I suppose MIGHT be justified in very complex cases). Mine was fairly straightforward, but it was still a bankruptcy, so to not be saddled with MORE financial burden (of an over-priced attorney) was a big relief.

Lorena and her firm made everything so very easy. The entire process, from start to finish, always had either her or another member of her firm there to help make sure that everything was understood. Whenever there was a question, even during this time of social distancing, they were quick to respond the same day and often within the same hour! During the meeting with the trustee there was only one small stumbling block which was handled beautifully and corrected before the end of business that same day. Once the discharge was complete I was able to know immediately thanks to them contacting me to let me know even before the court sent me the documents. They even went so far as to help with resources and tips on how to rebuild my credit score after the discharge was complete and made sure to let me know how keep myself safe from temptations and scams related to people who've recently had a discharge. In a time that could have been stressful beyond belief, Lorena and her team made it a breeze!

Carrie has been instrumental in taking care of my bankruptcy case. Carrie was able to work with my Trustie to find a happy medium when Trustie was unhappy with my monthly payments. Carol guided me through a successful Chapter 13 bankruptcy and was always available for questions or to offer guidance. She reviewed my situation and took the steps to get me into a 3 year plan instead of a standard 5 year plan (given my salary). Carol was honest, straightforward, nonjudgemental, and the perfect option after I first went to an attorney that operated more like a mill and did not closely review my case or options. I would highly recommend Carol. Bankruptcy is not an easy option, nor process, but with Carol representing you, it is much easier to go through!

I received a traffic ticket worth fighting in late 2019 in DeKalb County. I wasn't aware how difficult a ticket would be to fight in DeKalb traffic court, so I got in touch with Louis after getting nervous after the arraignment hearing. Louis was extremely knowledgeable about the DeKalb Traffic Court, and he helped me navigate the entire virtual court process (that took over 3 YEARS because of COVID-19 delays). I am so grateful Louis was able to help me avoid points on my record, save my NOLO and reduce my ticket to a points violation. In my virtual pre-trial zoom call, he was incredibly professional and prepped me on what to expect with the proceedings. I couldn't recommend him enough to anyone struggling to fight a ticket! As what some would consider being a 'high asset' client...my case was MUCH more difficult than most. I make that statement confidently due to the fact that I visited nothing short of 10 attorneys prior to moving forward with Howard's team. Thankfully I visited Howard late enough in my schedule of attorney interviews to KNOW what differentiates in terms of knowledge base, dependability and overall skillset. Howard was thorough and obviously heads above. In my interviews I got 2 'yes' and 8 'no.' Howard knew what he was doing and got it done- for literally the SAME cost as the competition. DO NOT go with anyone else!

He listens and takes notes, studies the best path to take and most importantly, relieves your stress by being thorough and making sure all objectives are addressed. I came to Mr. Rothblooms office to seek counsel for a issue whereby a major furniture company that filed bancruptcy was seeking to claw back from me over $10,000 that I was paid for services rendered. Additionally, this very same company owed me money which I assumed I would never see again. I was represented by an associate of this firm, Adam who gave me his full attention, instilled in me the confidence that he would represent me aggressively and professionally. His approach to my case seemed reasonable, effective and gave me a quite confidence that the outcome we be better than I hoped. Yes, the price was very reasonable as well -- a fraction of what the furniture company was seeking to claw back. The outcome was better than I hoped. Adams preparation, approach and thoroughness won the day. We prevailed without having to pay back a penny to the furniture company. In fact, I finally did receive a check from the company that had filed bankruptcy. A win win outcome. Ian Falcone was hired to handle a problem with a competitor who had taken and was using our intellectual property, and was in clear violation of the Digital Millenium Copyrights Act. Their actions were also causing problems with search engine rankings. When verbal requests and a demand letter were ignored the matter escalated. With well placed requests and utilization of DMCA laws the company's website was totally removed from Google search results.

Having to file bankruptcy is not a decision one makes lightly. I did a lot of research prior to selecting a lawyer to represent our case. I also interviewed a handful of lawyers as well. I came to the conclusion that there are generally two "flavors" of bankruptcy lawyers out there. You have the bankruptcy mill firms who churn out bankruptcies left and right. I feel with these firms you tend to be another number and there appears to be no sense of personalization. I also spoke with some lawyers who do a little of everything. I liked that the lawyers I spoke with had a smaller office with a personal feel. However, I was not confident based on my questions that they handled bankruptcy cases enough to give me the best chances of a favorable outcome. Mrs. Woodruff has the best traits from both sides. She has the experience that comes from dedicating her practice to bankruptcy law plus the personal involvement from handling all aspects of her cases from start to finish. We ultimately chose to have Mrs. Woodruff represent us and we are very pleased with her service. She never made us any promises, there is just too much subjectivity with the trustees and judges. She was extremely thorough in preparing our case. She went through everything with a fine toothed comb and had us supply additional information that further supported our case. She was very knowledgeable of the judges and trustees in the district. She clearly laid out our options, gave us the pros and cons of each and let us know what could be around each corner. She is a no nonsense lawyer who is extremely thorough. My husband and I highly recommend her!

When we came to you, we didn't know where to turn and were at wits end. Our bills were piling up; the credit card interest rates were astronomical; we had lien's on our house; my husband's wages were being garnished; and we were starting to be sued by every credit card company. We tried Debt Consolidation for almost a year but the monthly payments were way to high. Then we tried Debt Settlement which ended up being a scam, the company takes all of your money up front and never pays down your credit, we ended up with more lawsuits, and the company ended up being sued for fraudulent activities. I was in tears when I sat down with you to explain our situation, and you quickly made my husband and I feel at ease. You thoroughly explained how everything works, what we needed to do, and made us feel special, telling us that we were not alone with our situation. Herman and Russo represented us in a Chapter 7 recently, and they did a great job of explaining the process to us, letting us know what to expect, and providing additional information and guidance even after our discharge. Absolutely I would recommend Ms. Melissa Ann Herman of Herman & Russo to anyone needing a bankruptcy attorney or who has questions about the process. I made an appointment with two of the largest advertised firms. I was told by each that this is the process and this is how much it costs and that I was going to have to get a job because I didn’t have enough retirement and self-employed income to file bankruptcy with them. Same scenario with two smaller firms. Atlanta Legal Aid doesn’t handle this kind of case. I researched several firms that specialize in bankruptcy and contacted them. I was immediately contacted by the Herman & Russo staff. Ms. Herman was empathetic, cognizant, and resourceful. She devised a solution that worked for both of us and I later found out that she is recognized for her professionalism and knowledge in the bankruptcy administration and court system process.
