I received a traffic ticket worth fighting in late 2019 in DeKalb County. I wasn't aware how difficult a ticket would be to fight in DeKalb traffic court, so I got in touch with Louis after getting nervous after the arraignment hearing. Louis was extremely knowledgeable about the DeKalb Traffic Court, and he helped me navigate the entire virtual court process (that took over 3 YEARS because of COVID-19 delays). I am so grateful Louis was able to help me avoid points on my record, save my NOLO and reduce my ticket to a points violation. As what some would consider being a 'high asset' client...my case was MUCH more difficult than most. I make that statement confidently due to the fact that I visited nothing short of 10 attorneys prior to moving forward with Howard's team. Thankfully I visited Howard late enough in my schedule of attorney interviews to KNOW what differentiates in terms of knowledge base, dependability and overall skillset.

I came to Mr. Rothblooms office to seek counsel for a issue whereby a major furniture company that filed bancruptcy was seeking to claw back from me over $10,000 that I was paid for services rendered. Additionally, this very same company owed me money which I assumed I would never see again.
I was represented by an associate of this firm, Adam who gave me his full attention, instilled in me the confidence that he would represent me aggressively and professionally. His approach to my case seemed reasonable, effective and gave me a quite confidence that the outcome we be better than I hoped. Yes, the price was very reasonable as well -- a fraction of what the furniture company was seeking to claw back.

Ian Falcone was hired to handle a problem with a competitor who had taken and was using our intellectual property, and was in clear violation of the Digital Millenium Copyrights Act. Their actions were also causing problems with search engine rankings. When verbal requests and a demand letter were ignored the matter escalated. With well placed requests and utilization of DMCA laws the company's website was totally removed from Google search results.

Having to file bankruptcy is not a decision one makes lightly. I did a lot of research prior to selecting a lawyer to represent our case. I also interviewed a handful of lawyers as well. I came to the conclusion that there are generally two "flavors" of bankruptcy lawyers out there. You have the bankruptcy mill firms who churn out bankruptcies left and right. I feel with these firms you tend to be another number and there appears to be no sense of personalization. I also spoke with some lawyers who do a little of everything. I liked that the lawyers I spoke with had a smaller office with a personal feel. However, I was not confident based on my questions that they handled bankruptcy cases enough to give me the best chances of a favorable outcome. Mrs. Woodruff has the best traits from both sides. She has the experience that comes from dedicating her practice to bankruptcy law plus the personal involvement from handling all aspects of her cases from start to finish.
We ultimately chose to have Mrs. Woodruff represent us and we are very pleased with her service. She never made us any promises, there is just too much subjectivity with the trustees and judges. She was extremely thorough in preparing our case. She went through everything with a fine toothed comb and had us supply additional information that further supported our case. She was very knowledgeable of the judges and trustees in the district. She clearly laid out our options, gave us the pros and cons of each and let us know what could be around each corner. She is a no nonsense lawyer who is extremely thorough. My husband and I highly recommend her!

When we came to you, we didn't know where to turn and were at wits end. Our bills were piling up; the credit card interest rates were astronomical; we had lien's on our house; my husband's wages were being garnished; and we were starting to be sued by every credit card company. We tried Debt Consolidation for almost a year but the monthly payments were way to high. Then we tried Debt Settlement which ended up being a scam, the company takes all of your money up front and never pays down your credit, we ended up with more lawsuits, and the company ended up being sued for fraudulent activities. I was in tears when I sat down with you to explain our situation, and you quickly made my husband and I feel at ease. You thoroughly explained how everything works, what we needed to do, and made us feel special, telling us that we were not alone with our situation. The process you took us through was very smooth, you walked us through the legal jargon that most people don't understand, and you explained everything in layman's terms. Herman and Russo represented us in a Chapter 7 recently, and they did a great job of explaining the process to us, letting us know what to expect, and providing additional information and guidance even after our discharge. I was sued for thousands and thousands of dollars and Hillary represented me. I was terrified at the possibly of losing the lawsuit, but we never even had to go to trial, since during the preliminary mediation, Hillary laid out her entire approach and intimidated the Plaintiffs so badly, they tucked tail and ran back to Savannah.
