I cannot express how fortunate my husband and I are to have worked with Jon on the purchase and sale of our homes. He educated and guided us throughout the entire process which made things much smoother and kept us informed every step of the way. There were many, many issues that came up over the sale of our condo and purchase of our new property (none were his fault) and Jonathan handled everything perfectly. He is trustworthy, shows great integrity and is on your side. He is very accessible, always returns your calls and emails even the frantic ones on the weekends. I cannot say enough about him. Having worked with other attorneys on different properties, I have come to realize how important having the right team can be when it comes to real estate. I highly doubt we would have been able to overcome the obstacles we faced if it had been left in the hands of another attorney. Another thing that really impressed me was how he kept everyone in the loop; he worked extremely well with our realtor, our buyers and sellers realtors and the other attorneys; always keeping the lines of communication open and the process moving forward. He is diligent and fights for you as his client. He always made it seem like we were his top priority and most important client which was refreshing because it showed he truly cares about your transaction and values you as a client. Kevin was the third lawyer to represent my wife and I in a Chapter 7 filing that dates back 3-1/2 years. The first lawyer, from Southbridge, closed his practice before filing our Chapter 7 petition. He recommended an Auburn lawyer, Rose Clayton, who took our case and over the course of a year and a half ultimately left us hanging. When she was suspended by the state Board of Bar Overseers, the lawyer disposing of her practice recommended Kevin as someone who might get the job done. That was absolutely the case. Kevin was thoughtful, insightful, knowledgeable and upbeat throughout giving us guidance and instruction that ultimately resulted in a successful discharge of our Chapter 7 bankruptcy petition. Alejandro was a pleasure to work with. My fathers case was very hard and no one wanted to take it. Alejandro was very upfront and honest about the case which I appreciated. I decided to take a chance with him since he was the only lawyer willing to work with me. Alejandro always communicated well with both me and my father about any information he had to tell us. He was always available for me if I need to talk with him and answered my texts and questions, even after hours.

About a year ago, my wife and I purchased our first home - a new construction condo. When it came time to choose a lawyer for the closing on our side, the builder pushed us towards a specific individual. This made us uneasy, so we did some research and instead chose Michael Khoury. This ended up being a fantastic decision. He went over and above even the highest expectations, combing through every word of the closing documents and having multiple calls to walk us through it. Upon realizing that there were a multitude of portions of the closing documents which were detrimental to our interests, Michael expertly negotiated with the builder to change the language of some of this parts and to completely remove others. In addition, when there was in issue with a portion of the property not meeting the agreed upon specifications, he delayed closing and also obtained a small amount of money for us from the builder as recompense once we realized the issue couldn't be fully corrected. To top it all off, when we had an issue finding care for our dog on the day of the closing, he let us bring her into the office with us! This all doesn't even mention his paralagel, Nancy, who was amazing to deal with - quick to respond to all of our inquiries, extremely nice, and amazingly knowledgeable. I can't recommend using Michael vehemently enough - he is a genuine, hard-working, and knowledgeable attorney who sincerely cares about his clients. If you need a lawyer in his areas of practice, you won't be able to find anyone better!

I am a business man dealing with the public for over fifteen years, and I can honestly that it took me some time within those years to figure out how to keep my customers happy.
I can't say I have any experience working with this firm, but I had a problem having to do with a building lien which my attorney (who does not work for Madoff and Khoury LLP) couldn't handle. I needed another more experienced attorney's expertise. After speaking to a member of the staff at this company, they connected me to a gentleman named David Madoff. Mr Madoff, after speaking to me for three minutes asked me to call the attorney I was using before and have him call Madoff & Khoury so David can coach him on what to do. I am amazed and shocked that an attorney would take the time to do such a gracious thing.
I believe that any "decent" business can give good service, but it takes a special business (or person representing a business) to shine or go above "decent", and that can only be done when something goes wrong in a transaction, or when there is an emergency. I called Madoff and Khoury because something went wrong with another attorney (out of Boston) which created an emergency situation involving a deadline court date (on a holiday weekend). Mr. Madoff took the time to help me when it wasn't even his problem. I can't be more honored and pleased to be able to witness and experience first hand, within five minutes time such high CHARACTER in any type of business. I'm so glad I made the call.

But fair warning, they will keep taking money from you after all of your invoices are paid and they will completely ghost you. Use a card ONLY to set up payments. One you can cancel.
In response to the response from Turco: You are correct, I did not engage you so all payments to the firm you subsumed in my name should have ended especially when my invoices were paid in full. They did not and money was taken from my account without a contract. Interestingly, I got a refund after posting this review so my advice stands. Make sure to put a payment on file you can dispute. Thank you.

Patrick Murphy is the best. I was summoned to a Magistrate Hearing. I had no idea what to expect or even how to prepare. Upon first contact with Patrick, he was extremely helpful.
