Skip and his assistant are unprofessional and wasted my time. They didn’t remember facts of case or even the conversations around it. Set up multiple appointments which they cancelled last minute. Highly recommend seeking other counsel.

So far he's an excellent attorney. Spoke with him directly, he spent some time gathering. Info on my initial call himself. Scheduled in person consult within a week during that phone call. Left me with some research to complete to further my position. So far he is right to the point, gets things done; a roll up your sleeves and plow through it kinda lawyer. I like it and hope it stays this "full steam ahead".

Filling bankruptcy with The Attorney Group was my best decision. There were many other competitive law firms to choose from, but The Attorney Group was ideal for me. They are professional and reliable and AFFORDABLE, "why not go with them?"... I was able to go through bankruptcy in the most convenient way possible. I had very difficult IRS issue to say the least, from the first day I walk into the RJS office I could feel the weight being lifted. Ronnie and his team were there for me through out the whole process which took almost 2 years, not once did I feel I was in the fight alone. The professional service they proved over and over again. I have had other things in the past that required me to seek professional guidance and not once have I received the same care and understanding of me and my situation that Ronnie and his team gave (100%) at a time when I needed. Dealing with the IRS at any level can be a very scary place, I truly thank God for bring RJS law to my rescue because in so many ways thats what they did. If you thinking of who you should be hiring for your situation I would strongly recommend you sit down with Ronson or anyone of the team, and talk it through. If your like me and need that extra attention you will find it here, they don't miss phone calls and your email will be responded to immediately and if there is no resolution and you have to go to face the judge the experience and knowledge is there to defend you, a lot of Attorneys say they can do this until you get to that point and then they can't, they either don't have the experience or the knowledge or the Balls to see it through, RJS does. This should have been written awhile ago, sorry it hasn't been because they truly deserve it.

Even though it wasn’t their specific area of expertise, I knew I could trust them with the matter and that they would get it done right the first time around. Paul handled a delicate and complicated situation over the course of nearly two full years - in terms of guidance, legal support/action, and a property sale. From the start he laid out a course of action which was very direct and clear, but what made me comfortable is that he presented it very confidently but with compassion and an understanding for what I was feeling personally. I felt like he truly empathized with my circumstances, listened to my point of view, and essentially acted as a true sounding board while already crafting a game plan on which for us to execute. I never felt that I did not know where we were headed, but in a way felt I was still in control of my path, yet I was in the good hands of a true professional. I have worked with many attorneys both personally and in a business setting, so I can certainly attest to the good and not so good of attorneys, and Paul checks all the good boxes. Again he brings a personal touch to the work where you know he genuinely cares. That is huge. However, equally on a professional level and knowledge of his craft, he would be tough to match. He has a way of reciting the law but also communicating it in a way that is easy to digest and follow. Paul is also very reliable and consistently in touch seemingly at need. I acknowledged he has several clients and a full plate at all times, but never did I feel like I was on the backburner - it was as if my issues were front and center and always his priority. No client can expect that but I feel like that's what I got. To be fair, a review is not legitimate without at least one critique, but honestly the only thing I would say is that he could have convinced me sooner to take his advice and stop sitting on my hands It was ultimately only my hesitation and stubbornness but he did not stop short of giving me his two cents in that regard - and that is much respected and probably his true value. And even when I delayed in decision making, he found a way to make up for that in some way. Really amazing. On the real estate side of things, his experience and knowledge of the market and conditions is top notch. He was spot on with listing price and took prudent steps to ensure a quick and successful sale. Again all the while over communicating progress and any next steps along the way. I have sold a few properties through the years, but I have never felt so supported. I love that I could just chime in but essentially "STAY OUT OF IT!" Got to deeply thank Paul for everything and highly recommend.

Paul was hired by our company to refiance a loan for our hotel. Paul is very: 1.Smart, extreemely knowledable in his feild of work 2.Responsive, picks up the phone when called or retruns calls ASAP 3.Organised, very organised!! 4. Gets the job done with the least amount of stress to us. He did such a great job on our first hotel we hired him to refiance our 2nd hotel as well. Bottom line Paul gets the job done, pleasant to work with and is extreemely knowledable as a Loan broaker/Attorney!!!

From the moment of our first contact, Paul was immediately responsive, and had already done homework on our property, and the sellers. We had found ourselves in the midst of massive non-disclosures on the property we had purchased, facing a huge amount of money to make it habitable and functional, and were at a total loss on how to handle it all. We finally decided that we needed to do something about it legally, and reached out to Paul, who had been referred by a close friend. Paul worked tirelessly with us over the next few months, sending information to us, responding immediately to all questions, and making us laugh when we wanted to cry. He is quite the detective, searching out every angle possible until he finds the key that fits. Paul would not let us give up, and when we finally said we just wanted OUT of the nightmare, he said let's go for that angle. In the end, we achieved the unheard of...the sellers agreed to purchase back the property! With this incredible turn of events, we were able to immediately start looking for another property, which we found that same week. Paul navigated us forward and through it all...juggling back and forth as we sold back our property and purchased our new one (in the midst of our being on vacation out of the country!). We are now very happily living in our new home/property...something that would not have been possible without Paul, who has now become a dear friend as well as Attorney. My name is David W. Klasing, I’m an attorney and a CPA and consider myself a scary judge of talent. Roy Comer is a very talented attorney and even more importantly he is ethical, honest, trustworthy and has adhered to the strictest confidentiality in an issue that I referred my own mother to him over. My mother was injured by her best friend when she lost control of her car while in the act of taking my mother to the emergency ward with symptoms of an impending heart attack. My mother was seriously injured and this placed her deeper into an existing financial crisis. She did not want to sue her best friend but her circumstances left her no choice. The family was placing tremendous pressure on her to do just that. She approached me and requested that I find her an attorney that would limit the law suit solely to the amount her best friend’s insurance would pay and would not go after all of her best friend’s assets. Our landlord was insisting that we sign a new lease for 1 year (our initial year was almost complete) and we kindly asked for a month to month contract. We were excellent tenants who took care of the house. Normally a landlord can refuse and we all move on. But this was during covid and we had no intention of moving. Eric ameliorated the situation through suggested courses of action without ever having to file a claim or do any formal proceedings. He is patient and really knows real estate law.

Eric is a great attorney. We retained Eric as our counsel for our mortgage transaction. In short, he was superb and everyone should retain him. To be more specific, his knowledge of real estate laws, especially the CA building and safety code(s) helped us tremendously. His replies were always in detail and he addressed all my concerns, including any hypos I presented to him. It's imperative that you work with an attorney that is knowledgeable - but more importantly, it is a must to find an attorney that is humane and doesn't just focus on the retainer or billable fees. Well, I was lucky because Eric was that attorney.

I contacted the Darvish firm at the recommendation of several organizations and individuals in the Pasadena area. My uncle had passed and I was the successor trustee and not from the LA area myself. The situation was complicated by the fact that my uncle had been acting as the executor of his partners probate case at the time of his death. We met and Elan Darvish explained clearly what the firm could do for us and the expected fees. Their hourly rates were significantly lower than other firms that we had contacted and we entered into a contract with them. The situation became more complicated than we originally anticipated as the trust left by my uncle had not been funded appropriately. Several complications with overlap between my uncles' trust and his partners probate. We ended up filing a Heggstad petition to move assets into the trust and the initial ruling was not in our favor until Elan made oral arguments and we got the outcome we needed to move forward with implementing the trust with all the assets. Elan was always available for my questions and explained everything clearly. It has been a frustrating process as I am a farmer and not familiar with legal terminology nor processes. However, when all was completed, everyone mentioned in the trust was very pleased with the outcome.

I was fortunate to hire Elan Darvish and his team for a very difficult case. Since day one, not only him but all the staff from the office were pleasant and knowledgeable. I found Jordon through Avvo and contacted him regarding a situation with my previous employer (I also contacted other attorneys and he was by far the most responsive). My situation was complicated and, unfortunately, time-sensitive. The consultation was outstanding and helpful and he never once pressured me to retain him. Beyond that, Jordon was clear and honest where his strengths were and did his research on his own (calling other specialized attorneys) into my situation, as necessary. Hard working, cunning, detail-oriented and authoritative attorney whose demand letters are the stuff of local legend. Guaranteed to become one of Santa Barbara's SuperAttorneys. Mike defended me against an unscrupulous landlord whose rent I paid on time... but for whom that was not enough. The landlord decided he was entitled to intimacy from me, and the usual dark events occurred. Few Santa Barbara attorneys (most of whom are landlords themselves) respond to this type of situation. David was a blessing during (and after) my bankruptcy. I suffer from depression, stress, anxiety and the medicine wasn't helping. It's tough to go thru and David knew that and walked me thru EVERY step of the process at least 3 times. Even to the point of telling me where the clock was so I would find my way. He even pushed me in my wheelchair. And since the process is over, without a hitch, David still checks up on me. He gives me hope for humanity. He really is a great guy and a fantastic lawyer!

My wife and I hired Scott to assist us when our condo's first floor was completely flooded by rain water during a big storm in 2017. Scott was highly instrumental in helping us to communicate, navigate, and expedite our way through the insurance company repair approval process, the condo reconstruction work with the HOA appointed General Contractor, and ultimately getting us reimbursed for all of our expenses and relocation costs due to the flood. I recently moved across the country to San Diego and started a business so getting a great/trusted lawyer was high on my priority list. I don’t typically write any reviews but Shiela was so Amazing from the initial consult to the end of the case that she deserves people to know what a professional, compassionate, kind attorney she is.
