I spent 1 year trying to get disability on my own. I was diagnosed with a very rare blood disease that causes severe fatigue & a compromised immune system. I was denied that whole year of 2023. A security guard at the SS office gave me a Phillips & McCrea business card. I called Mr. Phillips & he accepted my case after our first conversation in March of 2024. My hearing was scheduled for August 20th. He took care of all the necessary paperwork, managed all communications between my doctors & the Social Security office, & prepped me for my hearing to talk to the judge. I won my disability case in November 2024. It is a very long & slow process to apply for disability but having a lawyer who knows what they're doing helps speed things up. Mr. Phillips helped me get my life back together to support my family. If you truly have serious health issues that's preventing you from working, Phillips & McCrea will help you. I’m a social worker and speak with lots of people on a daily basis. He is very knowledgeable and I look forward to having him represent me in my matter against my employer. He is a caring attorney and knows when he has a claim and that is what you want. He picked out all elements of the claim and knew which he can tackle with confidence. I sold a home in Charlotte and the buyer chose Hoard Law for the closing. So as the seller I allowed Hoard to complete the closing documents on my side as well. That was a HUGE mistake. Closing was delayed by several days because the buyers documents were not sent in a timely manner (maybe not his fault), but it took us as the seller reaching out to him to discover this. He never once let me know of the delay. In addition when the closing actually recorded we were also not notified. It took the buyer's agent reaching out to inform us that closing recorded. And even then it took several hours and several follow up calls before our funds were actually wired. He will no doubt respond to this and claim I am not his client and that this is a false review (like all the other negative reviews he has). But if you are considering Hoard Law I urge you to reconsider

I want to start out most and foremost how the hell can a law firm give a deed to someone before they even wire money to someone's account and then leave me sitting in a motel room for 2 in a half days this Law Firm shouldn't even be in business they are not professional law firm in my book they suck and I would never never never never never never use this company ever again leave me in a motel room for 2 and 1/2 days I have to eat out wash my clothes at a laundromat and then they wire my money to my lawyer and they're $150 short what a poor poor poor sorry ass Law Firm this is I wouldn't use them to represent me in a dog fight and to top it all off we've had three people try to get in touch with this so-called lawyer three people 2 and 1/2 days they will not return no calls no emails I just want to know why they still in business sorry ass company

I hired the firm in December 2023, I was really excited at first but as the months went by I started to feel as if they were incompetent to handle my auto accident case. I would be told one thing and then 1-2 days later I would be told something else. Noone seems to be on the same page. I was given a date that the case would be settled only for that day to come and be told something completely different. It was always "we're waiting on this paperwork, once it was received it was well we have to wait for this paperwork " very unprofessional and indecisive. Going on 5 months and I'm still waiting for case to settle. I was told it would possibly be another week to 2 months. At this point just drop me and my claim. For a fee of 33⅓%, I had higher expectations! truly disappointed 😞 and stressed at this point. I feel like I did more work than they did.

This staff is a the worse I ever have spoken to, I was, referred y my cousin carlos portillo the attorney queen has his case , he told me he walked in and really fast spoke with the lawyer, but I had very bad experience with the rude stuff, there I waited for over a month for an interview with the lawyer, but I miss the appointment, cuz I was sick and else forgot, cus so long, so I call to see if I could at least do tbe interview over the phone but they. Were mad when they talk to me , saying it’s my responsibility, yes and many other things, I can’t say, I don’t understand how they keep Mr queen a good business I guess he works hard for it cuz with stuff like this, is going to lose costumers, I will calm all my family and friends I’ve been here for 27 years I know Olot ppl, and ppl that works for the radio station, maybe this way they change this stuff, of the attorney finds out about it,

If I could leave negative stars, I would. Tiasha Wray was the worst thing that could've happened to my son during his custody case. I found and retained Ms. Wray trying to 1. Support a black attorney and 2. Thinking that she would understand the importance of my 2 grandsons having their father in their lives. I paid the $5000 retainer and received very little in return. She was rarely available and seldom returned calls. My grandsons endured abuse at the hands of someone in their mom's house and my son took the kids and reached out to Ms. Wray for guidance and she didn't return his calls. She was unprepared for court appearances and would continue the case repeatedly due to her failure to prepare. There is a loooooong list of points where she dropped the ball. I would be typing for days if I listed them all. We ultimately ended up having to retain another attorney for the case because of her poor performance. After spending $3500 more dollars to retain another attorney, we tried to recoup some of our money by contacting the NC Bar Association. She lied and came up with a list of things she claims to have done and only said we were only entitled to a couple hundred dollars, which we never got. It's cool though because karma is real and she knows she wasn't right. I would NEVER use her again, nor would I recommend her services to anyone unless you want to just give money away with no results.

Worst law firm that I have ever dealt with. I would totally recommend someone else. Southpark family law is unprofessional on all levels. They will not take time for you nor your case but will take the time to collect or ask about there money over and over. They don’t follow their own contracts. You can never get a hold of Meg and then you have multiple people in your file when you hired only one lawyer. I really don’t understand how any of them have there License to do this. I’m telling yall to stay away from this law firm, they will totally disappoint you.

I paid this firm over a month ago to complete a simple deed transaction for me. We had a call to discuss exactly what I needed and was assured this was not a problem. They would never respond to me by phone even though I was told I would be called back by the receptionist on multiple occasions. Over the month I never received details on the process. At the end of the month they sent me an email to tell me they were not experienced enough to handle my simple deed transfer and refunded me my money. Throughout the process I simply needed follow up or a call to discuss the status. I don't like to leave a bad review but this was very disappointing.

Just had another seamless closing with Hunter & Chandler. This time it was for a super complicated estate situation. The communication was second to none. I've been working with Rinda for YEARS and was so glad when she moved to Hunter & Chandler. Super convenient location, and everyone that works there is so welcoming and helpful. But then you have that one paralegal who truly carries the entire deal and treats it so personally every time. Never an issue that Rinda can't calm me down on. Recently closed on the sale of our home this week. Rinda, the paralegal, placed an order through Homewise for our HOA payoff and incorrectly input the property address, and only notified us of the “processing error” two days before closing. Homewise will not refund us the full amount of the first fee we paid because of the error. Rinda became immediately defensive and claimed that Homewise made the error, but Homewise as very clear on the fact that they rely on the information supplied to them during the placement of the order and cannot modify it. Then, Rinda even had the audacity to blame me for paying for the order and not catching her error. But, she’s “been doing this for 20 years” and “knows what she’s doing”, so I guess she never makes mistakes and owns up to them. Very unprofessional behavior. We do a lot of real estate business and will never use this firm on either the buy or sell side.
