Doug Johnson requested a $5k retainer to perform services for my company. After several months - Doug Johnson informed us that he doesn't have the skillset to present motions in court, and that he primarily only works on settlements. He told us he was not willing to take the matter further. He refused to provide a log of hours worked on request, and kept the $5k retainer. As an attorney myself, I would recommend highly that anyone seeking assistance look elsewhere for a more skilled attorney.

My husband and I started his immigration process back in 2018. Our journey was a difficult one dealing with immigration and their long processing times and half the time just no response. We initially had started with a local firm back in 2018. All we heard from them was we had to just wait. We were devastated. We were then referred to McEntee Law Group by one of our good friends. We had our initial call with Natalia. The hope that Natalia gave us after our first meeting with her is a feeling we will never forget.
Natalia and Susie helped us on our case which included Adjustment of Status Denial, reopening of our case, responses to RFE’s, along with many Congressional and Ombudsman requests.
Any questions or concerns that we had they both responded to us in a timely manner and addressed everything with knowledge and care.

I needed to apply for my marriage-based Greencard while living with my wife in The Netherlands. I chose Natalia and McEntee Law because my brother had also hired her to help with his company-based Greencard and recommend her. I would highly recommend Natalia.
Unfortunately the US immigration process is ridiculously complicated, costly, badly documented by USCIS and NVC, and takes a ridiculous amount of time to process. Having experienced it, I recommend hiring a lawyer if you can afford it.
Natalia and her legal aid Susie helped us as we applied from abroad using the consular application process. She helped us understand the process, gather necessary documents, avoid making costly mistakes, advised us on what to include in our application etc. Together with Susie she also checked all our documentation in fine detail. Any time I had a question I emailed Natalia and heard back within a day. She contacted USCIS and the NVC on my behalf to clarify certain things. It was such a relief to have a dedicated lawyer in our corner.
We finally moved to the US a few weeks ago. I have my Greencard and it's a huge relief. We're very thankful to Natalia and Susie, they have been fantastic!

I had the privilege of working with Mr. Brian Hurst and his partner, Ms. Olga Allen, for the past eight years. I hired them to handle a very contentious divorce, and it was the best decision I ever made. After experiencing frustration with two ineffective and non-transparent lawyers, working with Olga and Brian restored my faith that lawyers can be trusted, compassionate, and genuinely committed to their clients' best interests rather than financial gain.
Ms. Allen carefully prepared the documents for our numerous court appearances, while Mr. Hurst presented and litigated the case. Their work was exemplary—organized, thorough, and meticulously detailed. Mr. Hurst's presentations to the judges (even through several changes) were clear, data-driven, convincing, eloquent, and highly effective.
When the first court decision was appealed by the opposing side, Mr. Hurst and Ms. Allen once again collected relevant facts, prepared detailed written presentations, and engaged in skillful court negotiations, resulting in a favorable judgment from the Appeal Court. Their proficiency in multiple languages was an additional benefit, as it helped me overcome my limitations in spoken English, especially during stressful court questioning.

Words simply don’t do enough to express my genuine gratitude for Young and her Teams support in handling my husbands immigration case. While driving a manual in bumper to bumper rush hour traffic on a Chicago expressway, I inadvertently hit a solid white line and was pulled over by a Chicago police. In the citation process, I realized in changing purses; I did not transfer my wallet. The cop impounded the car, put me in my handcuffs, and off to Pulaski station, I went. I was told as there is no women's lockup, I would be taken to Cook County Jail. Thank goodness for law enforcement blood ties; eventually, I was released. Now facing two charges, I was bewildered. Could I not simply retrieve my license and pay the ticket.
No, it became necessary to retain a Criminal Attorney. I selected John Donlevy. John is knowledgeable, thorough, and gives 110% to his clients. I resided out of town to compound matters, and the Judge was insistent I appear in court. Why?
John went to each court hearing relentless in my defense, and eventually, the Judge relented, bringing my case to a resolution with me never stepping foot in the courtroom.
I was relieved and more than pleased with Attorney John Donlevy's representation and would refer him without question.

I live in NYC and had a situation that required a lawyer in Chicago to resolve it. My niece in Chicago recommended Mr. Donlevy and I could not be more satisfied with the result. Mr. Donlevy communicated regularly and took care of every detail at what I considered a fair price. The process took over a year to reach completion but there was never a time when I was in doubt as to how things were proceeding. In the end the matter was resolved. Ethan is a very thorough and competent professional. I gave notice to my company that I was leaving for a competitor and two days before my last day, the Company decided to take issue with where I was going. I had a medical malpractice complaint against a Dr who left me disabled. It was not a complication of the surgery. He damaged an area that he should not have been any where close to. The expert was weak and really didn’t look at all the facts. They lied to me about going to trial. They did not even get the injury correct. When I read the depositions I thought they were working for the physician. I wish I never had hired them. I haven’t been able to work since the injury and we spent a good portion of our savings on Dr bills. They dropped my case after 5 years and it’s been impossible to find a new lawyer. I’m now trying to get a job and no one wants to hire a nurse who’s disabled and has been out of work for seven years. Not only has this physician ruined my entire life but these lawyers didn’t know enough about nerve injuries to take the case. They also printed up a fake trial date on a court document and gave it to me to make me believe we were going to trial. Who does that?

When I read the depositions I thought they were working for the physician. I wish I never had hired them. I haven’t been able to work since the injury and we spent a good portion of our savings on Dr bills. They dropped my case after 5 years and it’s been impossible to find a new lawyer. I’m now trying to get a job and no one wants to hire a nurse who’s disabled and has been out of work for seven years. Not only has this physician ruined my entire life but these lawyers didn’t know enough about nerve injuries to take the case. They also printed up a fake trial date on a court document and gave it to me to make me believe we were going to trial. Who does that?

I had a medical malpractice complaint against a Dr who left me disabled. It was not a complication of the surgery. He damaged an area that he should not have been any where close to. The expert was weak and really didn’t look at all the facts. They lied to me about going to trial. They did not even get the injury correct.
