I paid the U$5.000 is already 7 years and they don’t answer emails or give any report about my case . The only thing they do is ask for fees for any services .
They need to answer emails and explain what is going on with the case .
Very bad feedback once they take your money

Ian Schatzman accepted our case regarding an insurance claim with our insurer when other firms wouldn’t take it. After our claims were denied, we needed to reroof to prevent further damage. Ian worked out an expedited plan to document the damage in a manner that would support his case, while adhering to our reroofing timing.
He communicated clearly, responded promptly and thoroughly, and shepherded us through the lawsuit process. His fees were very fair for a job very well done. Without his efforts, we would have received almost nothing for the damages we incurred. He was able to negotiate an acceptable outcome.
I recommend Ian and his firm most highly and would certainly seek his input for any future legal matters.

I would never recommend this law firm. After they capture their clients with great care and kindness, but once they take the case, it is a lack of attention, irresponsibility, rudeness and more because I had to make many calls throughout the entire period of time that I was with them so that they could give me information about my case, (since they told me "we will call you" and they only did it to tell me the dismissal of my case), every time I called and managed to get through, they took action from the little they did, such as sending 3 letters to the hotel and since they did not receive a response from the hotel at any time, they dismissed my case, all this happened from 03/2022 to 11/2023, that is, 20 months to dismiss my case, that is too long, that was an act of serious irresponsibility. My new lawyer in 7 months has already filed a formal complaint.
If you thought my case was nonsense, you wouldn't have taken it and I wouldn't have wasted my time with you.

I unfortunately hired this lawyer back in 2022 to assist me with my case. The communication from the start was great. It wasn’t until I paid the initial $2500 fee of the total $5000 that the communication started to become really poor. I would persistently reach out to him for info regarding my case and would hardly hear back from him. My biggest issue was that he advised me that I was being sued for $7000 when in actuality it was close to $14k! Talk about false information. But it doesn’t stop there! He OFFERED to assist me with getting my record expunged after my case closed and did absolutely nothing! I contacted his office and spoke with Jimmi, his assistant only to find out that after 2 months of receiving my application, it was not filed with the SA office. So I took matters into my own hands and did the entire process myself. My record was expunged 2 months after I filed it. Mr. Shwarz told me it would take 6 months! Ha! What a joke.

Mindy Chmielarz is the best disability lawyer out there. When you Google Disability Claims or Unum lawyers, what comes up is an avalanche of lawyers firms consultants paid bloggers and just about everything you don't want to read especially when the insurance carrier they are all warning you about is administrating your short term disability and long term disability plan.
I don't know how I stumbled upon her international law firm, DI Law Group but I am sure glad I did. Unlike all the other attorneys who basically painted Unum to be the enemy who will deny your claim at any cost, repeatedly harass your doctors for the same information not to mention leave you penniless, Mindy did no such thing.
In fact there were a lot of things that Mindy did very differently that NO other lawyer did. Atleast not without asking for payment first. As I briefed her about my own policy which was about to change definitions from own occupation to any occupation she listened. She even took the time to review all my documents and letters and even answered my questions for free.
To say I was shocked is an understatement. But one thing about her stood out. She never once mentioned one negative thing about Unum. She wasn't trying to scare me into retaining her. By no means was she an alarmist. I wish there were more honest lawyers like her out there. Maybe then the term honest lawyer wouldn't be the oxymoron it is today.
I remember her saying well in my twenty plus years, I have handled thousands of claims and I have never seen Unum do...that, that or even that. But if they did, they would have a major lawsuit on their hands, in the papers and on the evening news to worry about.
So that got me googling again only to learn that she has went head to head with the best of them even on the Today Show advocating for her clients. But aside from advocating, she also had a proven success record winning them favorable approvals and decisions. And like her Hartford disability Insurance client that she represented on the Today Show and because of her unwaning persistence in helping me obtain all my medical, vocational reports and documentation from the Social Security Administration, I, too, received word from Unum that I was approved for continuing benefits under Erisa governed any occupation review.
While there isn't anything I would like more but to get back to the old me flare-free and pain-free me, I thank my lucky stars that I was able to find Mindy Chmielarz because if not for zealous representation, I would have lost the only thing I had left, the roof over my head.
Now I have one less thing to worry about until the next review but fortunately Mindy is not the kind of lawyer that is out for my kitchen sink and worked with me so that I would be able to afford her fees as she continues to manage my claim.
Thank you Mindy for painting me a picture of Unum that was drastically different. For when all was said and done and faxed, you accomplished everything you sought out to do. You definitely do care. Thank you for always treating me with respect. Most of all, thank you for not taking advantage of my vulnerability and disability. Yet most of all, for helping me stay alive even as my disability continues to debilitate more and more with each passing day.

Ryan helped me when my home’s property insurance company tried to grossly underpay my roofing claim. He guided me through every part of the process from start to finish. He was also very responsive when I tried to reach him with questions or concerns about my claim and took his time to spell things out clearly so I could understand exactly what the next step was. My claim, which had dragged on for almost a year, was quickly settled within 3 months once Ryan got involved. In the end the insurance company settled for almost 6 times their original offer thanks to Ryan’s knowledgeable help and the merits of my initial claim. I can’t thank him enough and don’t believe that I would’ve had nearly the same outcome if it wasn’t for his involvement.

It was my first time filing bankruptcy chapter 7. I was terrified. The first time I spoke to Attorney Mayor I immediately knew that she really was professional and knew what she was doing . I wanted to back out of the filing because I was so scared and felt my case was too complicated. She however realized what I was feeling and she was very reassuring . She did not give up on me no mater what .
Every time I had a question she and her staff immediately got back to me and answered any and all questions. I knew what was going to be expected at the 341 meeting . There were no surprises and everything went very smoothly just like she said it would .
Attorney Mayor is very thorough, empathetic, extremely knowledgeable and professional.

Alicia Paulino-Grisham clearly outlined what to expect through the appeal and possible litigation process and aggressively pursued an overturn of the insurance company's unwarranted denial. Based on the information and arguments in the appeal she submitted, the denial was overturned and benefits were reinstated. Working with this lawyer initially was standard nothing outstanding, as we all know, some cases take a significant amount of time to be settled and as time gets longer the responsiveness and updates from this lawyer become nonexistent despite reaching out via phone and email as well as leaving messages. I do believe he knows what he’s doing but not very sociable and the basis of having/keeping clients is big on this.

My wife and I hired Jamie Tarich to do the closing for a house we were selling in Margate. The paralegal who did all the actual work was both friendly and professional. However, there were both errors and omissions on the closing statement. Initially, we discovered a $5600 error which the paralegal corrected and blamed the new computer program they just started using. Several days after the closing we received a letter stating we owed almost $2500 more and if we didn’t pay it soon they would start collection proceedings against us. Even after paying the total amount deposited in my account was less than the final amount from the revised closing statement. I called and spoke to Jamie Tarich but his only explanation was to, once again, blame the computer program. I learned at the last minute, just before we had the closing, that the buyer of our house worked as an attorney at this firm. Conflict of interest? I wouldn't consider using this firm ever again and would not recommend it to anyone else..
