I cannot say enough good things about Mr. Bochenek. He is in the process of representing me in a landlord tenant case and was willing to take my case, which is in Palm Beach County, Florida, although we both live in Jacksonville, Florida. I have retained Mr. Johnson for several matters over the past 5 years. I have found both he and Chelsea, his secretary, to be professional and courteous. I have never been charged more than $50.00 for a consultation fee and he has always applied that amount to his fees when handling my cases. When I consulted him regarding a possible bankruptcy filing, the consultation was FREE and he spent over an hour explaining why I would be better off paying off my debts than filing a case. When he handled an estate matter for me, he treated everyone in our family with kindness. He has always been prompt in answering my questions. I hired Attorney Chafin to work on a deed of a property I bought one and a half years ago and which was not properly titled. Unbelievably this property was never titled correctly ever since the beginning. The legal description was wrong , according to the records department of Duval County .
It was really scary when I found out that the property I was buying was only a piece of land that was split from the property that I thought I was buying with the house on it.
It took me several months to have it all settled out with the help of the property records department and , of course , Attorney Chafin.
Attorney Chafin was very thorough the whole time he was working on my case. He had to dig through the original title of two generations ago to finally get the correct legal description of the property.

My son was addicted to drugs and while under the influence was arrested with another third degree felony charge. He had a history of misdemenors related to drug/alcohol and one expunged felony. My son was looking at a conviction of three to five years in prison for aggrevated assult with a deadly weapon. He did not have credible witnesses for trial. Shawn managed to negotiate a one year sentence to be completed in Duval County Jail and the Matrix Substance Abuse Program, keep me well informed and tolerated my son's drug induced communications. That alone took a great deal of patience and professionalism. Shawn knew the laws like the back of his hand. All I can say is he saved my son's life and today he is drug free. I am forever grateful. Robert was awesome to work with. My case took years to resolve and i never felt out of the loop. I could always get ahold of him through text, calls, or emails. He took what we needed into account and always made sure we were able to get the treatment we needed for our injuries. In the long run we were able to settle right as the trial started and we are happy to have our future treatment and more secure.
