I was refered to Emanuel by another attorney to handle my accident claim and i couldnt be happier. He handled my case with the utmost care. I chose this law firm (specifically Adam Moskowitz) based on a referral from my Financial Advisor at Charles Schwab. From my initial telephone conversation with Adam, I felt relaxed, very comfortable, and certain that I had made the right decision. I needed Adam and his team to put together a comprehensive Estate Plan for me...which would include my Will, a Revocable Trust Agreement, an Advance Medical Directive, and Power of Attorney. I also needed advice and guidance on a few other matters relating to my 'estate'. Once all of the documents were drawn up, I physically met with Adam and his team. Adam was extremely patient, listened to all of my concerns, and explained everything in 'basic' terms....taking as much time as I needed to review and understand the entire process and all of the legal documents that I was signing. He made me feel valued as a client. I left his office with the peace of mind that I needed. He definitely deserves 5+ Stars!!

STAY AWAY FROM ANY FIRM THAT EMPLOYS KELLY KILROY! She knew she was going to be disbarred and still took our case. We lost huge amount of money because of missed opportunities. She was too focused on saving herself. She would have lost malpractice lawsuit but "had no assets." (This is our opinion based on the facts we experienced).

I’m so glad I chose Josephia Law. I’ve been in divorce proceedings for over a year now. And every step of the way the people at Josephia Law have been prompt, professional, compassionate, and knowledgeable. The attorney on my case is Massa Massaquoi-King. I’m lucky to have her on my case. She is very knowledgeable and experienced. She’s also very attentive, I don’t have to explain things more than once and she will let me know the best way we should proceed.
Not only is she great at her job, she really cares. Up until recently, my wife was not allowing me to take my son to see my family without her. Recently at the merits hearing for my divorce case, Massa displayed her knowledge and experience in that courtroom. The judge gave an order so that I can spend more time with my son on a schedule. Coincidentally, outside the courtroom my 3 year old son was waiting for us to finish. I picked him up and my son and I both thanked Massa because it was going to be the first time he was going to be able to spend with me and my side of the family for the weekend. It was an emotional moment for all 3 of us outside that courtroom.

DON'T GET SCAMMED!
Before I signed on with this firm I talked to Ms Rouse and explained my financial situation. She assured me that I wouldn't have to constantly dump money into my trust (which was a lie). After giving them 10k with no results, they droped me because I couldn't afford to give them $2500 for an upcoming court date. I went with another lawyer who handled my case for $1500 with excellent results. When my new lawyer reviewed what was previously done, he found several documents were filed incorrectly and I was charged each time they had to resubmit them. Mass King is a joke! She showed up to a virtual hearing looking very unkept (with 6 month old box braids). I was embarrassed. There were several reviews about how this firm takes people money and literally drop them right before court. I wonder why you can't see them anymore......

suspect based on reviews. I would have enjoyed using Ms. Shipley as my attorney. However as I was informed, apparently my case is far too minor for her to take on. I'm not understanding why it says she handles accident cases if that is not true, Perhaps it should be listed that unless it is a major claim and not (as I was informed) to small a case for her firm. Attorney Chester has been referred to me by the online Montgomery Bar Association Referral Service. NO THE PHONE REFERRAL SERVICE, I have to underline that because they are incredible and do they best to assist. Back to Mr.Chester! I contacted him for a Condo Association dispute. first thing on the phone, He asked me what is the management company, I told him and he answered: " the company is owned by a good friend of his". Without being an attorney I spotted a conflict of interest right at the beginning of the conversation and the end of the conversation attests it and the lack of objectivity of this attorney. He found normal for a management company to hold a storage key of an owner for 2 years, He found normal a management company don't have and hold accurate and update paperwork. That management provide a 1989 ( 35 YEARS OLD) contract to be applied on a newly owned property of 2020. and so on.
I definitely DO NOT recommend this attorney.
He doesn't go to court to represent you or the law he studied!!

She also asks what outcome you want, given that there is usually room for interpretation and more than one option and give you her perspective on the likelihood of achieving that outcome. A great resource to have on retainer, just in case.

I called in to explain a particularly egregious landlord retaliation issue and the intake person cared not to listen to understand. Instead they listened to respond and interrupted my explanation to ask questions that would be answered if they just listened. As it is now I would not use Lusk Law until they get someone to do intake that cares about your problems.

I had a very disappointing experience with Karen Amos, who was appointed as the Best Interest Attorney (BIA) for my twins. It became evident that she unfairly favored one child over the other, often disregarding the feelings and well-being of the child who had done nothing wrong. Unfortunately, after only one conversation, one of my children no longer feels comfortable speaking with her, despite her insistence that the child must—this is not a requirement under Maryland law.
Additionally, I found her fixation on superficial aspects, such as repeatedly mentioning the kitchen backsplash during discussions, highly unprofessional and irrelevant to her role. In my opinion, Karen Amos does not maintain the impartiality expected of a BIA and seems to pick sides rather than advocate fairly for both children. Based on my experience, I do not believe she should be appointed to represent any child in the future.

Justin is an absolute lifesaver! I first retained his services in 2018 while on PBJ (Probation before Judgement) after I'd attempted to fight a previous ticket without a lawyer, upon which I then received a similar stoppage for driving in excess during the 2 year probationary period. I contacted Justin in order to take this to trial for me, to which he told me to, 'simply go to work and he'd handle it.' On his advice I did just that and on the day of the trial I was treated with a resultant email from him that everything had been cleared, I was off PBJ, and the newest ticket had been wiped. The second time I contacted Justin was in 2022 when I'd received a ticket during Covid (in 2020) whose charges amounted to over $500, but trials were delayed due to the pandemic. Again Justin took this to trial for me and on the day of the trial I was again greeted with a message that all of the charges were dropped and that my driving record remained completely clean. I cannot recommend Justin enough! The things he does are just absolutely magical!
