Mr. Falkner has provided me with excellent legal help to settle my father's estate and to also get my own affairs in order (will, powers of attorney, lady bird deed, health care advocate, HPPA Releases).
I have always found him and his helpful office staff to be friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable. His fees are more than reasonable and he is generous with his time. There's a difference between lawyers who know how to look up the law, and those who know it off the top of their head. Whims is the latter. He instantly caught something that the other side I think was completely unaware of. It ended up giving us a ton of leverage in a very satisfactory settlement. I would recommend him to anyone, except someone who might use him against me! LOL.

I made the unfortunate decision to drive after drinking. I was charged with OWI with high BAC. (.19, and .17) After talking with several attorneys in the area, I made the decision to hire Robert. Robert took the time to get to know my personal accomplishments and not just the crime I committed. Because of his commitment and professionalism, my charge was immediately reduced. In addition, at my sentencing I was given non-reporting probation, and a 4 hour highway safety course. When I first contacted Robert I was facing a car installed breathylizer, possible jail, reporting probation, and community service.
Robert also has the respect of the courts. Regardless of how many people filled the court room, Robert was always the first case the judge called. The judge made personal recognition of Robert, which put me at great ease.
He is a family man, but also respected professional. He is involved in his community, and it is obvious everyone that works with him (judge, court employees, probation officers) has great respect for him and find him trustworthy.
I would recommend Robert to anyone looking for an attorney with a wealth of knowledge and who can guide you through a difficult situation!

I was recently caught off guard with a motion against me from my daughter’s Father. long story short I paid him a retainer to help my husband get his license back, sadly in the interim of this process, my husband was diagnosed with advanced cancer. I intermittingly kept in touch with Darly via email over a few years, and he was compassionate, honest, always responded promptly and went out of his way to help my family. Sadly, we won't be able to complete this case due to health reasons, but Daryl's compassion, professionalism, and ethics are completely admirable! From the first consultation, Daryl provided clear & straightforward answers. With his legal assistance, I was able to successfully obtain restricted driving priviledges after facing a 1 year implead consent suspension. His expertise was further validated by the fact that he managed to reach an agreement with the prosecurer without having to go on record during my circuit court hearing. I first met Kirk through a client. She was getting help revising an existing trust. I found his advice very practical, and was fairly priced. He was recommending what was best for her. So I had lunch with Kirk to learn more about him.
Since then he's helped a number of my clients, and has done some work personally for my family.
Kirk has been an excellent resource. When I come across an interesting estate problem Kirk has always been there, willing to lend professional guidance.
As a Financial Advisor, one of the risks in recommending others is that they might do something wrong. Financially there is no direct upside for me, but there could be significant client relationship downside if the other professional makes mistakes or treats my client poorly.

When I first met Jim I was facing a Domestic Assault charge out of Grandville Michigan. Quickly he went to work gathering information and staying in constant contact in order to dig at the case. His confidence picked me up when I felt very discouraged. I had a tremendous amount of pressure riding on the outcome of my case.
While in jail he visited me and continued to hash away at my case. He gave me hope even when I had none. His confidence, dedication and hard work as a lawyer are all virtues that you would look for in representation. Above all else he was my friend when I had none. I came to Elizabeth 3 years ago with a pile of paperwork, a lot of stories and a drug addict mother of my son.
After looking through my very unorganized evidence of what’s been going on for a few years, she explained to me that I have a case. She said with honesty that this is a very “different” case considering the drugs, alcohol, mental instability, etc and being able to prove all of this.
She admitted that this kind of case is more rare than others but she would study all areas of everything going on in my case and represent me to the best of her ability.
Now fast forward 3 years, tons of court dates in front of our referee and judge, a 2 day trial and even more court dates in front of our judge, post trial. I now have full custody of my son. He is out of harms way and is the happiest he’s ever been.
Elizabeth went above and beyond. She accepted all my calls, she called me regarding issues and has fully been just as involved in every aspect of this case as I have been (which is ALOT). She has completly took it upon herself to further her education regarding the very “different” aspects of my case such as drugs, how the mom is beating drug tests while still being high, different affects from different drugs and alcohol, getting medical records showing the mental instability and much much more. NOT TO MENTION, I AM A DAD. We all know courts can be a little biased towards fathers.
Thanks to Elizabeth Silverman, my son is safe and happy. It’s been a extremely long road but Elizabeth has been here for me every step of the way. Not only as my lawyer but as my advisor and even sometimes my therapist. All while seeming like a good friend.
I would also like to add, Elizabeth only hires the best Paralegals there is in the state of Michigan. I could not write this post without saying how great they all are but especially Gina. Dear Elizabeth,
It was my pleasure to have you as my lawyer and my counselor during my divorce trial. Having some ideas that divorce is very painful procedure, yet I could not even imagine that a person whom I considered my best friend and the most closed person (my ex-wife) turned into the bitterest enemy.
Your professionalism, your excellent knowledge of judicial system helped me tremendously during the divorce trial. What impressed me, that you pay your attention to big issues, as well as to little or even tiny problems. It is your big role in Macomb County Court’s decision to award me not only with joint legal custody, but also with joint physical custody. (Later I found out that it is not often for men in Michigan to be awarded with joint physical custody.)
Based on my experience, I can advise to person who is going to get divorce, try to avoid it. If there is no way to avoid divorce, then talk to your spouse, try to solve problem peacefully.
But if it doesn’t work, I really can recommend person, who is facing divorce, use service of my lawyer Elizabeth Silverman. Elizabeth will do her best to get the very satisfactory (at least) results for her client.

My experience with attorney's is slow response and specifically response mainly when it benefits the attorney.
