Mr. Stephenson has represented a number of my insured physicians (eight) through their medical malpractice trials and has done an excellent job in every instance. In each case, we received a favorable verdict, due in no small part to Michael's exhaustive pre-trial preparations and good calls during trial. He and his support staff/associates do a good job during discovery and kept everyone involved and informed. The physicians appreciate him and he does well with Juries and judges. I recommend him without hesitation.

I was very please with how my case was handled. I had a malpractice claim filed against me which Mr. Stephenson was able to get dismissed on a motion before my deposition. He was pleasant or work with and very responsive to my questions (which were many).

Jason Hagelthorn helped me with setting up my new business. He took all of the stress out from under me and my partner. Jason was very quick to respond whenever we had to contact him and was always on top of what needed to be done. He secured and negotiated our lease agreement with our landlord and structured our corporation to best suit our business. I have used other attorneys in the past for similar matters and have never been this satisfied with the outcome. I was recently caught off guard with a motion against me from my daughter’s Father. From the first consultation, Daryl provided clear & straightforward answers. With his legal assistance, I was able to successfully obtain restricted driving priviledges after facing a 1 year implead consent suspension. His expertise was further validated by the fact that he managed to reach an agreement with the prosecurer without having to go on record during my circuit court hearing. My experience with attorney's is slow response and specifically response mainly when it benefits the attorney. If there is a need or status update attorney's do not prioritize such communication highly. However, Mrs. Bazzi was pro active, communicated frequently and often (even if only by email), explained everything to me thoroughly, and never lead me in a direction that I did not understand or want. My mother abruptly passed away and she unfortunately did not leave a will. I had met Chris previously through a networking group in the area and desperately needed help with the probate process. When my father-in-law, Chuck, was suddenly taken to the hospital with heart issues, he realized that he needed to "get his affairs in order." I called Chris. He met us at the hospital that afternoon to discuss Chuck's wishes.
My mother-in-law, Ann, was there as well. Chris discussed with them their options for medical and financial power of attorney and estate planning. He was compassionate, understanding and understandable, without a lot of "legal speak" that can be confusing. All the documents were drawn up for both of them.
Chris met us the next day, again at the hospital, to get everything signed. We were fortunate that Chuck recovered and is doing well. We are also fortunate that we are now ready for whatever does happen. Chris made everything painless. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing estate planning.

I have used the services of Michael Bartnik for several business and family matters through the years. He has proven to be a knowledgeable attorney who makes himself available to answer my questions as they occur. He is well versed in business matters and recently worked with our new landlord to draw up a lease that benefited our company. He has assisted in closing out estates - specifically one which involved a charitable trust. Also, he has drawn up the required paperwork to help us form a 501C3 while assisting us in the format necessary to submit it properly. Michael Bartnik has helped with personal issues such as a will, and a fight with a medical insurance provider that needed to pay a claim - all with a successful conclusion. He consistently keeps me updated on the progress of all situations. I am certain, I am not recalling all instances, but the point is that he is a great general attorney. So I have used Lisa Okasinski for a lot of really varied problems, all of them real estate related. She has helped me obtain a quiet title on a problematic property, kept an unsavory character for stealing said property, and allowed me to negotiate the sale of that property (with MAJOR environmental and title issues) at a 6 figure markup. She has been diligent about protecting me and my interests every step of the way and while pleasant and gracious, has been a shark where my interests are concerned. I have had a lot of lawyers in various cities and states, but Lisa is by far my favorite. I owe her a lot. Her pricing is always fair, and I am never left feeling upset at some insane mark up for a phone conversation or an email (a problem I have encountered a frequently with other attorneys). She has delivered every single thing I have asked of her with unwavering professionalism. I cannot recommend her enough.

I have limited space in this review, so I will try to keep it short. The team goes above and beyond for their clients, and without them, I have no idea where I would be. They give the most straightforward advice, and if something goes bump, they know their stuff well enough to maneuver around it. There is always a way, and they find it. They are very good at letting their clients use their voice, and making their voices heard. I cannot say enough good things about them, so I'm leaving multiple reviews in multiple sites, in hopes that everyone can see what I see in the team at Hyde Law. I didn't find them, they found me, and took a chance with me, a chance I will be FOREVER in their debt in terms of owing them my life. I first contacted Mr. Newberg through an attorney referral service here in Grand Rapids, MI cocernining a civil suit being brought against me for a large amount of debt. Needless to say I was very concerned about the case being brought against me. My wife and were in need of Legal advice regarding the handling of our Lease, or lack thereof, as we could not reach an agreement with our Property Management Agency on our next year's lease for various reasons. We felt we were being taken advantage of to say the least. I was introduced to Chris through a Veteran's legal assistance program with which Chris was aligned. Chris helped us over the phone, at no charge, navigate the through our lease concerns several times as the situation developed. As the Agency continued to escalated the issue we would have felt very helpless without Chris' advice. In the end, we actually hired Chris and his Firm to negotiate directly for us we had to depart the state for another job. Chris expertly represented us and our concerns against the much more formidably funded Agency. In the end Chris was able to get the Agency to drop all their frivolous claims and pay us back all our deposits owed without having to go to court. For my wife and I, having Chris was well worth every penny we recovered from negotiation and then some; however, the icing on the cake was that his Firm's ultimate billing for matter was extremely reasonable and far less than I expected for his First Class Service. Chris really new the applicable laws as well as the statutory timing requirements for leases and used them to our advantage to essentially "win" the negotiations for us. He wrote letters for us and negotiated directly with the Agency and their lawyers. He maintained outstanding communications as we moved out of state and kept us informed and promptly had both our returned lease deposits and vast majority of our retainer fees returned to us. Working with Chris made an otherwise stressful situation as stress free as possible. If I ever have any legal questions or issues in the future, Chris will be my first call and I suggest anyone reading this consider doing the same. Thanks again Chris!!
