The law is complicated, diverse, and subjective. This is why I hired a lawyer because I needed help. What I was not expecting is brutal honesty on our first meeting. Mr. Thornton did the research, explained my options, and gave his honest, educated opinion which saved me thousands of dollars and at least a year of my time. He takes the time to explain verbiage that I am completely unknowledgeable of, in an industry that I am just learning. He explains the timeline and updates me along the way, a service that I did not even expect. Because of his honesty and integrity, I trust him in my affairs and will continue to support his practice for years to come. I obtained Mr Patterson Esq through a referral from a close business associate in 2013. My case involved ownership of property being disputed by the family of a deceased relative. Mr Patterson scheduled a consultation to hear what the situation was first. After he heard the information he actively assisted with getting the proper documentation to assist in retaining his services to proceed with representation in the unfortunate matter. He displayed the most professional and personal services that I have ever experienced in a moment of distress. He made sure I understood the law as it applied to my case and was in lockstep with the judges interpretation on the facts as well. Our HOA contracted with Charles Fenton to pursue a claim with the developer of our community. The claim is still ongoing, however, it is clear that we made the correct decision in contracting with this attorney. I think that we would have in a disastrous situation had we not contract with him because many construction defects were uncovered in the course of pursuing our claim. We receive updates from him or his representatives at our board meeting, He also makes himself available if any questions arise. Could not be more pleased with his services and I highly recommend him.

I barely had to disclose the facts of my case. He knew! He told me. He is so well versed in the HOA foreclosure and sale matters being litigated in the courts today that the answers to my questions are at his fingertips. I welcomed Jennifer into the hornet's nest that I had created with my super hero like ability to transform everyday business into troublesome legal quandaries. This was the culmination of a multiparty transaction that had lasted over eight months. It was clear that mistakes had been made and that involving Jennifer earlier in the process would have both saved on cost, while also nettig myself more money with far less risk in a more timely matter. There was no second-guessing past decisions, nor was there any pressure to involve her in future dealings once it was understood that I had identified my errors. We discussed how to prevent similar situations from happening in the future. Unquestionably, the importance of her involvement was made clear through my bottom line.
Jennifer reviewed the facts surrounding my issue and then took over and diligently worked toward accomplishing our goal. My options were presented to me without bias and despite my best option resulting in less billable hours, the resolution was clear. Dealing with an absolute professional with expert knowledge and experience is very refreshing. I have witnessed attornies with lower standards direct their clients toward selfserving poor decisions in order to line their own pockets.

I was put in contact with Ryan after sending an inquiry to the Primerus website. After receiving an e-mail response, Ryan and I spoke over the phone discussing aspects of my concerns with a previously signed Non-disclosure Agreement. Ryan was extremely helpful in presenting a clear explanation of my options as well as knowledge pertaining to such an agreement in its generality. At the time of leaving this review, I had not moved forward with the matter due to the conclusion that it would be un-necessary. However, I would not hesitate to proceed on subsequent steps with Ryan should the necessity arise.
