I recently closed a complicated and rushed real estate transaction in Mexico and retained Antonio Maldonado. I also have used Antonio in the past. I cannot say enough positive things about this guy. He is extremely bright, professional, reliable, prompt, and has loads of integrity. I would not hesitate for a moment to use him again and while I do not do this often I strongly encourage others to use him. Antonio was available to me 24/7 as were other in his firm, he was patient and a clear and concise communicator. He also listened very well and always repeated back to me what he felt I was saying. Lastly, there were times that he needed to be "tough" in my transaction both with me and others and he did not hesitate to do so which I respect. Again, if you have any legal matters that you need assistance with in Mexico you should consider Antonio.

Found a law firm a year ago for my car accident .. I was happy to be in touch with Atty . Freyja... She is so wonderful excellent and very knowledgeable and explains the process thoroughly and just very informative .
And my expectations during this process .
I was in severe pain due to this accident and she was so understanding .

My long term disability benefits were cut off when my neurosurgeon signed a statement prepared by the insurance company stating that I was able to return to work. Barbara Casino and Jack Stennett sent me to an occupational therapist and then used her functional capacity evaluation to convince the neurosurgeon and the judge that I was not able to return to work. Blowing through the smoke and mirrors of the insurance company’s attorneys and sham “medical experts,” Barbara and Jack won complete restitution of my disability benefits.

There is so much I have to say about this lawyer. I will try and keep it short and say, if you are in a situation like I was, dealing with a LTD Disability case and are looking for someone who will work hard, care, fight and never leave you hanging, not knowing what is going on at anytime in your case. Then look no further, stop right here and call this Attorney! Jack (John) Stennett. He won my case, which was not easy against M of O. He fought hard for me and won! There is one thing that meant the most to me about this man. Well a few things but I have to say, when ever I called upset, nervous, or anything. If he was there he took my call. If he wasn't there, he would always call me back right away.
This is a quality you do not find with many lawyers.
Simply said " The best there is"!

Travis is very through in all aspects. From the initial visit knowing what questions to ask . All the down to a back and forth negotiation. He explained likely scenarios. He always kept in contact with me. I never had to wait long for a call to be retuned. Travia basically kept the situation in control making sure I was at ease with the situation. Finding myself in the middle of this particular situation was scary and made me so anxious. Having Travis calmed me immediately from first meeting. I rached out to him several times during process, w immediate answeres and return phone calls is what I received. You feel zero judgement so you can definitely walk in not worrying about that part (at all) he was sweet and wanted to know details that were important to my case and helped me understand parts that were irrelivent and why so.

After sustaining severe injuries in an accident, Chris was recommended by a mutual friend. Chris visited me in the hospital and although not in the right frame of mind to pursue a lawsuit, he started doing needed investigation for me and my family.
Once I began to heal and rehab, Chris and his assistant Aaron Sibley were very professional in eventually filing a personal injury lawsuit against the defendant. I was impressed with the compelling case that Chris presented on my behalf.
As a result of the case presented by Chris, we settled out of court with the defendant. I felt the final settlement was fair and compensated me for the severe trauma that I suffered.

After a near fatal illness and treatment, my long-term disability insurance company ceased my disability payments. John Kennedy from Lee Shome & Kennedy went above and beyond all my expectations, the contracts he’s formulated for me are not only bullet proof, but really a work of art. The attorneys who receive contracts from Kennedy always compliment (although it doesn’t come out as a ‘compliment’ lol) the level of detail and precision in his work. The fact that he’s on the younger side makes him really tackle a job to fullest extent, nothing goes unnoticed and everything is iron clad down to the littlest details. Going forward (until his rates go up) I will always if possible use Kennedy for any business contracts I have nothing but high praise for this attorney, which is while I’m so compelled to leave this feedback for him. Steve McKinley has been my family's real estate lawyer in San Diego since the mid 1980s and he remains my real estate attorney today. He is the best, and a great litigator. I would not go into a serious legal real estate or business related matter without him on my team. Steve represented us in a very long drawn out eminent domain action vs the city. While we settled our case, our neighbor also was involved with the matter and his case went to trial. After 5 months, Steve prevailed against the city and their three lawyers. As a witness testifying in our neighbors case I was amazed at the level of detail, organization and understanding that the Steve commanded. He made the three experienced attorneys working for the city look like amateurs.

How do I evaluate my lawyer, Steve McKinley? Let me count the ways:
Steve is an excellent communicator. In speaking, as in court, Steve is authoritative, assertive, polished and confident. In writing, in legal documents, Steve is an excellent wordsmith. I can't define what makes a good writer, but I know it when I see it. Steve's writing skills make boring legal docs come to life.
A good lawyer takes care of the details and deadlines-lets me sleep at night free of worry.
A good lawyer is emotionally invested in my case.
A good lawyer truly has my back.
A good lawyer is like the team captain.
Steve is all of these things and that's a comforting feeling.
What about the question of big firm vs. small firm? Freeland McKinley & McKinley is a small firm. However, you never feel isolated from the legal mainstream. Steve is very active professionally; always interacting with other lawyers. He has partners to bounce ideas off. And, of course, in this case, having a wife, Karen, as a partner is a real advantage. And then add an excellent paralegal, Melody, to the mix and you have a well-oiled machine.
So, you can tell that my wife and I are happy clients. It's difficult to try to appear not too biased when that's exactly what we are. We like our lawyer!

Mr. Malloy prepared a complete trust package for me, including a will and advance health care directive. I chose him because he was recommended both by colleagues and clients. I found him very easy and comfortable to work with. I was very satisfied with the work that he did.
He even makes housecalls for her elderly clients who find travel to his office difficult. Mr. Malloy works very well with clients, who due to their age or condition, are sometimes difficult (and crochety). He is very patient, answers all questions completely and returns calls very quickly. I have been very pleased with his help for my parents and my husband.

Dan Carlson worked hard to put together our recently concluded FINRA arbitration claim against a securities brokerage even though it was for a relatively small amount. I was impressed by his willingness to spend time explaining what we were doing and why. I never felt rushed or made to feel stupid for asking factual or procedural questions.
