Ron and his firm are not only an excellent law firm but also compassionate and caring. We have been working with them on some business matters and other things and if Ron does not handle a particular item he has a colleague that does. Ron is prompt in responding and his assistant Joanne is always available to get urgent items in front of him when necessary. When I retired in 2014 for health reasons, I had an implant patient with chronic maxillary sinusitis, but unrated to her implants. She found an attorney that thought he could make this my problem and this is when I met Mr. deMaine, Through four years (4 years is not unusual, in fact it takes over a year to schedule the trial), Mr. deMaine was part intellectual, part psychologist--being sued is traumatic emotionally and inter-personally for your entire family. Mr. deMaine took every opportunity to make sure I was healthy and not abused by the legal process. Mr. deMaine worked tirelessly to get me the best--even famous--expert witness testimony which supported my professional decisions and treatments. Mr. deMaine explained the 'system' to me in great detail and took much time to prepare me for deposition and trial. At no time did Mr. deMaine give me false hope or hyperbole, but reasonable expectations. What I appreciated most about Mr. deMaine, was his explanation that being sued in court by a jury of my peers, has nothing to do with facts and my reliance on being 'right,' has nothing to do with the court process and 'guilt' is more of a subjective process. Two months before my scheduled trial, Mr. deMaine visited the enemy's expert specialist across state and through his most professional preparation, basically demonstrated every point this expert had put to paper, was wrong. The case was dismissed and no trial was required. Needless to say, Mr. deMaine is one of few hero's I have met in my life.

Phil was extraordinary. Details matter in litigation and he absolutely understands that.
His preparation before trial was impressive. There was no stone unturned. Every deposition and piece of evidence was assessed and reassessed to find any potential inconsistency to strengthen our case. This is the type of preparation that finds success in all endeavors and particularly in litigation.
In the courtroom, in large part due to his preparation and thorough understanding of the case at hand, he was completely at ease and unflappable. This was not lost on the judge, jury or plaintiff's attorneys. Because he had such a command of the facts and the issues he immediately established himself as the most credible of the attorneys involved. His credibility enabled him to be the more persuasive litigator and he easily controlled the outcome of the case. Defense verdict in 36 minutes.

I was referred to Dan by the Bar referral service and immediately felt a connection with him. During the initial consultation, Dan listened to my case and thoughtfully presented guidance and potential approaches to the solution. I was in a situation where I was being taken advantage of by my business partners and retained Dan to negotiate a dissolution of the partnership. Since our initial engagement the situation with the state of the business changed and we had to adapt to changing circumstances. SaraEllen Hutchinson is an excellent lawyer in consumer protection. I was trying to handle a problem myself with one of the credit reporting agencies. It was going on for 7 months, and not only was I getting nowhere, it was actually getting worse. I was scared, angry, and completely locked out of my credit report, while ID thieves were in. I called SaraEllen's office on a Friday at 5:00 pm. She emailed me the same evening, and by Monday morning she was handling my case. She has a strong working relationship with other lawyers, and within 2 months she had everything corrected. She represented me and handled everything with professionalism, and her knowledge of the credit protection laws. We had the misfortune of hiring an inexperienced contractor to remodel our bathroom. He was very unprofessional and didn't quite know how to do a remodel. We paid him a lot of money but got shoddy workmanship in return. He sued us in Small Claims Court for a final payment of $1280.00 but we were fortunate to have found Jean Bouffard to defend us. Jean had the lawsuit transferred to Superior Court and we sued the contractor for breach of contract. The case was a mess of facts and figures but Jean was able to sort it out and win a judgement of $21,030 for us including attorney fees. We are very happy with her professionalism, knowledge and demeanor.

I hired Russell in the Fall of 2013 to represent me in a multi million dollar securities fraud lawsuit. The lawsuit came to an end in the Fall of 2015 after a three week trial by jury in which we prevailed on all counts.
I cannot say enough good things about Russell Knight! He is very through and organized. He took well over 5000 pages of documents and testimony, wove it into a story that the jury could understand and lead them day by day to the final outcome. Russell is as steady as they come. Do not let his boyish face and soft demeanor fool you. I guarantee that he will not let anyone take advantage of him or the situation.
Most importantly, the jury really liked Russell. After the verdict, both sides sat down with a couple of the jurors to get their feedback. They stated that Russell had presented a full, concise, believable story, which they appreciated.
If you have a large case, which this was, and need an attorney that will spend whatever time is necessary and keep you informed every step of the way, you cannot do better than Russell Knight.
Obviously, I highly recommend Russell and the entire Smith Alling firm!

It has been just one year after our bankruptcy and our credit
scores are back over 700...barely.........which is amazing!!
Dallas said this is how it would happen! We always paid our bills on
time but the writing was on the wall with this economy. He filed `-got rid of our debt..kept our cars and house and reasonable lifestyle.
Too many people wait to file after they fail......if you see the writing on
the wall do it now and file with Dallas. AT that point he can protect your assets. He covers all bases very well. He really knows bankruptcy law!!
You will need to be on top of your paperwork and assignments. He does not hold your hand.

Steve helped guide several multimillion dollar transactions through to the finish line. In one case, Steve negotiated and drafted all legal documents related to a transaction with Netherlands-based multi-national company and involved another nine individual share holders. Involved property transfer, leases, and a myriad of other complex issues. In another instance, Steve negotiated sale of shares in a company where Washington Tribe and native individual were both shareholders and purchaser of shares of another 5 individuals. We've handled plenty of contracts before and managed to keep from getting ourselves screwed but Neal was able to take a lot of tangled, convoluted copyright issues and streamline our agreement into something coherent and mutual. Most importantly for us, he was able to keep pace with the awkward and unpredictable timing that characterized our negotiations. He exposed the sort of risky nuances that allow you to appreciate the difference a law degree makes. Thoughtful, perceptive, and more timely that I thought we could expect, Looking ahead at our contract we needed a lawyer as a safety net - looking back I couldn't imagine our agreement without him.

Thomas was referred to my wife and I regarding an insurance claim problem we were haveing. We had complied to all of the Insurance requests for the past 10 months, but we were not haveing any luck in settling the claims.

Ms. Johnson helped me when I had a dispute with my literary agent. I felt I could no longer effectively communicate with her so she stepped in and helped out. Ms. Johnson reviewed my contract, clearly pointed out its inconsistencies and what we could do to come to a resolution.

Mark is an exceptional attorney. I had a business lawsuit that 2 different lawyers turned down because they said it was not winnable. I had a very complicated case involving a non-compete and was in a bad place with an ex-employer who set me up to fail. I had started my business and was in dire straits until I met with Mark. Mark was immediately responsive and really worked hard to keep me in business. We knew we were on the right side of the law and he fought for me every step of the way. He showed great restraint when necessary as to not "run up my bill", but when the gloves came off...he really shined. We ended up winning two very significant court battles which led to the other side agreeing to a settlement. I personally spoke with 10-12 attorneys when I began my search for an attorney that could represent me in a family estate dispute. When I spoke with Mr. Rosenblum, I knew immediately that he was the one to handle my problem. Even before I hired him, he spent much time on the phone with me and also met with my husband and I in person at his office to get a better grasp of the problem at hand. Not once, did we feel rushed... We hired him, and the all through the process of the dispute, right up until the very last minute of the estate closing, he was right by our side...
His attention to detail is top notch and truly cares about his clients; not only now, but in their future. All the documents that he prepared for us were clear and concise and I feel fully protects us and our future, and leaves no room for question or error. While I was not sure about hiring a large law firm and getting "lost in the shuffle", nothing could be farther from the truth. Mr. Rosenblum and his staff made me feel like I was his only client. On top of all of this, he is extremely quick to respond to his clients; whether it be an e-mail at 1:00 am or answering a phone call from me, at his office, on the holidays. I always knew that I could get him on the phone if necessary, as problems arose. This was a great comfort at this incredibly stressful time.

Mr. Gerrit was very responsive to our needs, and often made phone contact personally rather than through a secretary or clerk. His initial knowledge was good, but also researched our issue thoroughly enough to become very familiar with the more minor nuances. We have used his services a few times over the years, and in each instance his work on our behalf rapidly resolved the issue and prevented the issue from becoming a long ordeal. We will continue to use his services should the need arise in the future.
