I personally spoke with 10-12 attorneys when I began my search for an attorney that could represent me in a family estate dispute. When I spoke with Mr. Rosenblum, I knew immediately that he was the one to handle my problem. Even before I hired him, he spent much time on the phone with me and also met with my husband and I in person at his office to get a better grasp of the problem at hand. Not once, did we feel rushed... We hired him, and the all through the process of the dispute, right up until the very last minute of the estate closing, he was right by our side... His attention to detail is top notch and truly cares about his clients; not only now, but in their future. All the documents that he prepared for us were clear and concise and I feel fully protects us and our future, and leaves no room for question or error. While I was not sure about hiring a large law firm and getting "lost in the shuffle", nothing could be farther from the truth. Mr. Rosenblum and his staff made me feel like I was his only client. On top of all of this, he is extremely quick to respond to his clients; whether it be an e-mail at 1:00 am or answering a phone call from me, at his office, on the holidays. I always knew that I could get him on the phone if necessary, as problems arose. This was a great comfort at this incredibly stressful time. The very confusing laws of probate do not phase him. He knows the law inside and out. Thank you Mr. Rosenblum!!!!! :)

I have been a client of Dave Luxenberg for over 10 years, throughout that time he has always placed my interests first. He has an excellent support staff with Anita. Dave is very knowledgeable and takes a conservative approach to conflict. This has saved us from many battles. In the end, Dave is the attorney you want on your team.

In a drawn-out and complicated civil suit Ashley was the prime go-to. Over the course of 16 months, involving over 1200 documents to review Ashley was 24/7. Never have I been so completely informed about the process. Any client or firm that employs Ashley will receive the very best representation If you have any questions regardingher representation or the lagal matter at hand, Ashley ensures that they are addressed. Mr. Tuell was very helpful in giving advice on Estate Planning for my dad before he died, and in processing of the sale of his house. His timely advice saved me well over $100,000 that would have gone to the state. (The state sent a letter of intent to put a lean on my dad’s estate, but after seeing the paper work that had been done retracted that Intent- very cool!) I would strongly encourage my friends to seek Mr. Tuell out!

I always had confidence in Shad. He was patient in explaining to me all of the options, and the pro's and con's and expenses, upfront. The outcome of the Will dispute exceeded our expectations, and happened quickly and painlessly. I live in another state, and most of our communication was by e-mail. My nephew changed my brother's Will ten days before my brother died. He claimed it was my brother's wish, but my children and I were certain that my brother did not know what he was signing. My nephew was my brother's Executor, his Trustee, and also a Beneficiary. According to my brother's original Will, written by an attorney, our older brother and I were to each have half of the estate. On the event of our older brother's or my death, our 1/2 was to be divided among our own children. Our older brother had died , so my nephew and his sister were to have 1/2 of my brother's estate, and I was to have the other 1/2. My brother talked about this Will a lot, to many people, because it gave him comfort. The nephew's last-minute changes left me and my children a few thousand dollars, with the bulk of my brother's estate going to the nephew and his sister. People we talked to said this type of fraud is difficult to prove, because my brother's physical and mental capacities were in question--and we almost gave up. My Son-in Law is an attorney, and he contacted Shad in Washington, for me. Shad discovered that the new Will had several flaws. (Sorry, I am still fuzzy on the specifics.) My nephew wrote the document as an amendment to my brother's Trust, yet it didn't properly amend the Trust, and it wasn't really a Will, either. This gave us the leverage we needed, and we challenged the Will. My nephew hired an attorney to represent him, and there were about three pairs of offers and counter-offers. In the end, I recovered over half of my share of my brother's estate. Shad also discovered that, regardless of which Will held, I legally had inherited 1/2 of my brother's share in an oil company. I did not know this, and my nephew as Executor did not tell me this, and he had already wrongfully claimed full ownership for himself in company meetings. I used this 1/2 share in the negotiations. I did not value the oil company as highly as my nephew did, and I was actually glad to let it go. I received a great deal more money than I had hoped for. The children and I feel good about the settlement, and we are glad we didn't prolong the dispute, by going to court. Thank you, Shad McOmber!

Dan and Albie at NextLaw are the professionals you need. After experiencing two DUIs within a six-month period, following a particularly challenging year, I found myself in a difficult situation, especially considering I had a prior offense from 6.5 years ago, just shy of the seven-year mark. In Washington state, the law mandates a minimum of 30 days in jail for a second offense and at least 90 days for a third. However, thanks to Dan and Albie, I have been presented with alternative sentencing options that allow me to keep my job and remain with my children. Their dedication to guiding clients through the legal process truly demonstrates their commitment to their clients' well-being.

Ms. Alvord created a specific lease/purchase agreement for me when I sold my Andalusian who had metabolic challenges. Her writing was clear and covered every imaginable scenario without being overly complex or diving into fine print. I myself have worked for an excellent lawyer in the past and am aware of how rare it is to fine a truly smart, dedicated, professional practitioner. I was very impressed and plan to request Ms. Alvord help me with my future equine transactions.

Mr. Bush was recommended to me by a former classmate at UPS Law School and working with him was a pleasure. I had worked with another lawyer when appointed legal guardian for my mother and that fellow had quit by letter with absolutely no explanation why. When I meet with Mr. Bush, I discovered that there were all kinds of things this first guy failed to tell me about my responsibilities. Jim patiently helped me through rectifying the oversights. He responds quickly to calls or emails, is very thorough, never misses a court deadline, and when my mother died, immediately helped me begin transitioning the estate from my guardianship to probate, with my sister as the executor.

I hired the Moveri law group to handle my child custody case in 2018. When they assigned Kasey to my case I was very impressed with her professionalism and skill. She was absolutely on top of every aspect of my case and always had time for me and any questions or concerns I had. She went above and beyond what you would think a lawyer would do, as she cared not just about my case, but for ME as a person and the toll the whole process was taking from me emotionally. She is young but her age detracts not one iota from her skill and ability to take on any judge or situation with confidence and ability. An absolute bulldog in court she helped me win my case, and now my children are home with me where they belong. Moceri law and the entire staff are awesome and will work with you on every aspect of your legal issue with care and skill. I HIGHLY recommend Kasey and Moceri law for any need you may have!!

Just look back at Mr. Schafers past and how the judicial system treated him for doing what was ethical. I personally had an experience with that good ole boy Grant Cadillac Anderson. That judge set me up, and ruined my life on March 26th 1994. He should never have been a judge, he was incompetent had no foresight and no integrity. He only did what he wanted and rules of law be damned Mr. Schafer provide that in spades. Anderson would have been a much more successful judge during the Janovich days back in the 1970's. Recently I saw Anderson retrieving some laundry from a cleaners and could barely contain myself and keep from hurting this ex-judge, Douglas Schafer is my personal hero and he doesn't even know me. I hope I am able to hire him on issues related back to those days and came upon this review section and really hope this goes to print as the part regarding sanction was improper and should not be there. Pierce County has always been corrupt and remains that way.

September 12th, 2022 police arrived at my door to tell me they were investigating sexual claims made against me, outlandish as they were I immediately panicked because as everyone knows, once these rise against you, you’re pretty much screwed. I immediately reached out to any attorney and was recommended Vindicate law, I spoke to the receptionist and explained the case and was assigned Carrie Fulton Brown. She accepted my case. The path to freedom was long and arduous. After the arraignment they told me I was facing 60 years in prison. Many continuations later, my anxiety and stress were at an all time high. Me and Carrie never really talked to each other about the case itself except a few times as my case was entirely hearsay, but because of the fact that it was from a minor the case was stacked against me 10 fold. Communication with Carrie was very rough, as most people sitting in the hot seat just want a shred or a glimmer of positivity but Carrie did NOT deliver on that front in the slightest. But that was okay, because she was dedicated to working against the state in a screwed up system. Most of the beginning of my case I knew most people and even Carrie didn’t believe me when I say I didn’t do it. Later on I passed 3 polygraph tests trying to prove I didn’t do it, and only after the 3rd one when I passed it with the actual prosecutor / State did Carrie tell me she strongly believes I didn’t do it. She gave me the best options to follow forward and going to trial with a minors words against mine was bleak, Carrie fought for the best outcome, I served 0 days in jail, no fees or Fines, Didn’t have to sign a sexual registry, all 4 counts were dropped to a Class C Abuse of a child. And 1 year of DOC Probation in which I spent 3 weeks on before the DOC discharged me from probation saying my crime didn’t fit criteria of having probation as I was a zero risk person and this was the only thing I’ve ever gotten on my record. All said and done, I’m glad Carrie pulled through for me and allowed me to stay out of prison and remain with my family and to continue working she’s a tough person to understand and rough around the edges when talking to her but she’s nothing but business which is what you want in an attorney. Thanks Carrie for giving me my life back! 60 years was a long time to be away.

I am absolutely appalled by the complete lack of professionalism and utter disregard for my situation shown by Carrie Fulton Brown from this Law Group. I entrusted her with my case, believing her promises of dedicated representation, and instead, I received nothing but empty words and an empty bank account. She happily accepted my retainer, and then proceeded to do absolutely nothing. During the 6 months period she was my attorney, before her withdrawal, phone calls went unanswered, meetings/appointments were canceled for no apparent reasons. No investigations were done on my case, she did not interview no witnesses, and the so called ”victim“. Furthermore, Carrie had the audacity to tell me I was borderline harassing her by calling her and her incompetent paralegal Lisa too much. She literally took my money and vanished into thin air. Carrie Fulton Brown is a trash of attorney. I suffered significantly due to her inaction, and I was left feeling completely abandoned and betrayed. I would strongly advise anyone considering hiring her to look elsewhere. Save your money, save your time, and save yourself the immense frustration and disappointment. She is a disgrace to the legal profession.

Aimee is a master problem-solver. She is able to meet you where you're at, map out where you want to go and which legal options are available to you. I've reached out to Aimee for legal consulting with everything from giving an eviction notice to how to structure a new business/Enterprise and she not only offered mindful options but encouraged me to make more mindful decisions as well. Aimee combines a mindful approach with nimble, legal precision. What more could you want?

I hired Aimee as a consulting attorney. I was representing myself prose. After being jerked around by over priced attorneys I was almost about to give up. But then I found Aimee. She was the most down to earth easy to talk to attorney I’ve ever met. She wasn’t just an attorney she became a friend. She listened. She never gouged me for ridiculous amounts of money. She walked me through everything and held my hand. Her name says it all. A god damn CHAMPION!!! Ted

I’d recommend ensuring that your staff.. whether a secretary, paralegal, or receptionist... has a clear understanding of basic client-facing information. Prospective clients should be able to quickly obtain answers to foundational questions such as: 1. Consultation Fees: Whether the firm charges for an initial consultation and, if so, the amount. 2. Billing Structure: Whether services are billed on a flat fee, hourly rate, or incrementally 3. Retainer Amount: The cost to retain the attorney’s services and the terms of the retainer agreement. Equipping your staff with this knowledge fosters efficiency, professionalism, and client trust. A well-prepared team ensures potential clients feel valued and confident in their initial interaction with your firm.

I am extremely disappointed in the service I have received from Mr. Gossing although it’s not GHG legal if you run into this attorney it’s hit or miss. I have read several reviews as to how great and attentive he is however at this point I feel it’s just personal because he is so unresponsive to me. I try not to be a bother but apparently that gets me nowhere as well. Throughout my bankruptcy I pretty much received the same service and when he and his previous business partner parted ways I felt a loyalty to him and stuck it out with his piss poor service because when he is responsive he is AMAZING!! Unfortunately that type of service an unresponsiveness is truly unacceptable. It seems as though he is way to busy to even attempt to make you feel as a priority. Less

Nothing can prepare you for the passing of your Mother. The daunting process of probate can debilitate anyone. I was looking for an attorney, via a referral ... I had 2 names. Was able to connect with Grady Heins. Grady has been more than a warrior for my sister and I during this dragged out process. My Mother has another child & did not update her copy of a will from 2015. The other child ended up with everything. But decided he was above the law. We are still grappled with this tedious process. Grady has been forward thinking, thoughtful, fair & strategic. Grady and his team have been the best assembled group to take care of my sister and I.

My family hired Stu to transfer a conservatorship from Washington State to Arizona. Stu worked diligently and quickly and got the job done in a professional manner. Wish he was in Texas so I could hire him again! Pick Stu Morgan for your attorney, you can be assured you will be taken care of and your bill will not be padded . This review is from a person who hired this attorney.

Stuart Morgan is the best litigation attorney in town! We were so lucky that Stu was so highly recommended by many people within our community. Stu helped my husband and I through a very difficult time in our lives, he was so supportive, honest and fought hard for our family’s rights! We are thankful for Grady Heins, who stepped in at a hearing when Stu was unavailable and Grady was outstanding! Stu and Grady’s legal assistant, Amy Shackelford was also amazing! She was so quick and efficient! Stu, Grady and Amy is a outstanding legal team and Ledger Square Law is highly recommended to all my family and friends!

What a Business Lawyer Can Do for You

A business lawyer provides critical legal guidance and support to entrepreneurs, startups, and established businesses. Whether you are forming a new company, drafting contracts, or navigating complex regulations, a business attorney ensures you are legally protected and operating within the law. They can also help prevent legal disputes or represent you in negotiations, transactions, or lawsuits that arise during the course of business operations.

Business lawyers have expertise in areas such as business formation, contract law, intellectual property, employment law, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance. They ensure that your business is compliant with relevant laws and help mitigate risks that could threaten your company's success.

When Should I Hire a Business Lawyer?

Hiring a business lawyer is essential at various stages of business development, including:

  • Forming a business: When deciding on the best structure for your company (LLC, corporation, partnership, etc.), a lawyer can guide you through the registration and compliance process.
  • Drafting contracts: If you need contracts for employees, partners, suppliers, or clients, a lawyer ensures these documents are legally sound and in your best interest.
  • Mergers, acquisitions, or dissolutions: If you are buying, selling, or dissolving a company, legal counsel is critical to avoid costly mistakes.
  • Compliance and regulatory issues: A lawyer can help navigate complex regulations, particularly in industries like healthcare, finance, or tech.
  • Resolving disputes: Whether it's contract disagreements, intellectual property infringement, or employment issues, a business lawyer helps mediate, negotiate, or litigate on your behalf.

What Does a Business Lawyer Do?

Business lawyers provide a wide range of services that cater to different legal needs of a business. They can:

  • Help you choose the best legal structure for your business.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with employees, suppliers, customers, or business partners.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
  • Advise on tax strategies to minimize your business's tax burden.
  • Assist with intellectual property protection, such as trademarks, patents, and copyrights.
  • Handle mergers, acquisitions, and business sales, ensuring all legal paperwork is in order.
  • Resolve disputes through negotiation, arbitration, or litigation.

How Are Business Lawyers Paid?

Business lawyers typically charge either by the hour or on a flat-fee basis, depending on the complexity of the work. Common payment structures include:

  • Hourly rates: The lawyer charges based on the time spent working on your case. Rates vary depending on the lawyer's experience and location.
  • Flat fees: For certain tasks, such as incorporating a business or drafting a standard contract, a lawyer may offer a flat fee.
  • Retainer: Some businesses may hire a lawyer on retainer, paying a fixed amount each month to have ongoing access to legal services.

The payment structure is often discussed during an initial consultation so you can choose the one that best suits your business needs and budget.

How Much Does a Business Lawyer Cost?

The cost of hiring a business lawyer depends on factors such as:

  • The complexity of the legal issue: More complex matters, like mergers or intellectual property disputes, typically cost more than routine tasks like contract drafting.
  • The lawyer's experience and location: More experienced lawyers or those in larger cities often charge higher fees.
  • The nature of the billing arrangement: Hourly rates can range from $150 to $1,000 or more, depending on the lawyer's expertise. Flat fees are usually available for simpler matters like forming an LLC or drafting a standard contract.

It's essential to discuss fee structures upfront to avoid surprises.

Top Questions to Ask a Business Lawyer

Before hiring a business lawyer, ask the following questions during your consultation:

  1. What is your experience with businesses like mine?
Find out if the lawyer has handled legal issues for companies in your industry.
  2. What services do you offer?
Ensure the lawyer can meet all your business's legal needs, from contract drafting to dispute resolution.
  3. What are your fees, and how do you bill?
Get clarity on how you'll be charged - whether by the hour, flat fee, or retainer.
  4. How do you handle conflicts of interest?
Ask how the lawyer ensures there is no conflict in representing your business.
  5. Can you provide references from other business clients?
Speaking with past clients will give you an idea of the lawyer's expertise and professionalism.
  6. Do you have experience in my specific industry?
Industry-specific knowledge can be crucial, especially in highly regulated fields like healthcare or finance.

How to Check the Credibility of a Business Lawyer

To ensure you're hiring a reputable business lawyer:

  • Check state bar association records: Verify that the lawyer is in good standing and has no disciplinary actions against them.
  • Look for client reviews or testimonials: Online reviews, testimonials, or word of mouth from other business owners can provide insight into the lawyer's reliability and effectiveness.
  • Ask for references: A credible lawyer should have satisfied clients who can vouch for their services.
  • Check professional memberships: Membership in respected legal organizations (such as the American Bar Association or a local business lawyer association) can signal credibility.
  • Review their website and professional profile: A well-established lawyer typically has a professional website showcasing their areas of expertise, credentials, and case success.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most out of your first consultation with a business lawyer, prepare the following:

  • A description of your business and its structure: This will help the lawyer understand your legal needs.
  • Any current contracts or agreements: If you're seeking contract advice, bring copies of existing contracts.
  • A list of legal issues or concerns: Be ready to discuss any potential legal challenges, such as regulatory compliance, disputes, or transactions.
  • Financial documents: If applicable, bring financial records related to the legal matter you're seeking help with.
  • Questions about fees and billing: Ensure you understand the lawyer’s payment structure and fees upfront.

By preparing these materials, you can ensure that your first meeting with a business lawyer is productive and informative.
