Mr. Shin spent quite a bit of time discussing a resolution for a personal issue. He very clearly stated my options in understandable terms. I offered to pay him for his time but he steadfastly refused. I will most definitely go back to him if I have any further issues. I would recommend him without reservation.

Mr. Sarsour helped me a lot, got me a great trial and deal. Had great communication with me and took care of everything. Great prices. This was my second reckless driving in 6 months and am 20 years old. I Got a reckless driving and driving with a suspended license and Mr Sarsour got it down to improper driving and driving without a license present. Would definitely go with First Point Law and Mr Sarsour.

I have known Jonathan for over 20 years; he was the first student I had as a drum instructor when I was in college, and I have always liked and had tremendous respect for him. My respect for him as a lawyer is newly acquired, though, and I couldn't be more thankful that I called him! Although I won’t go into detail, I will say that he helped me resolve a terrible situation that could have become a significant burden on my life. By the time I met Jonathan, I had already met with other lawyers and talked to countless people; I was almost convinced that I wasn’t going to be able to find someone who could help me. After meeting with Jon for the first time, I knew I had made the right decision and already felt worlds of weight lifted off my shoulders, and he continued to do that until we went to court. Finding someone you can trust and rely on these days is becoming tougher and tougher, and Jon’s knowledge of his field, his ability to think outside of the box, and the work he puts into making sure the clients are taken care of are all things that are truly needed when dealing with legal matters; from my experience, they are hard to find. I got in my first major car accident last year in November and it was a major blow financially and emotionally for me because it wasn't my fault at all and I had no idea where to turn too for legal help. By the grace of God my fiancee's coworker suggested this law firm for my case because he had such a good experience with them and let me tell you he wasn't lying. Throughout the whole process so far they have been so helpful and nice making this traumatic experience for me so much easier to get through. While recovering from my injury they even sent little care packages! Me and my fiancee thought that was so nice of them, For them to go out of there way to do that for us. I have full confidence in them resolving my case and hopefully this review helps someone else reach out to get the help and compensation they deserve as well. God Bless this law firm for helping so many people at a time where, like me is so traumatic and hard, and when it seems like there is no where to turn for good help.

Unbelievable experience. I called this firm and was transferred to speak to a paralegal lady, thanks a bunch! She listened to my concern, made her own assumptions without consulting an attorney, then proceeded to tell me 'she' wasn't comfortable with the call and told me to basically take a hike and then hung up the phone. I have never experienced such unprofessional behavior from any company. Partners should be made aware that you have an extremely rude and unprofessional paralegal working in your company that will continue to damage your reputation.

The absolute worse as a Gaurdian AD literally. He is completely bias. I'm in the process of going to the bar and doing everything I can to make sure Noone else has ro experience what I experience. He painted a horrible picture of me in court and even lied. I have the whole trial recorded. I will present it to whoever I can.

While I had an okay experience speaking with a paralegal, it didn't last long. After waiting for days to hear if a lawyer could help us, we were informed there would be a $300 consultation fee to speak with the lawyer. Still was never told if they could help or not. You know, for them to boast about being the areas largest and well respected law firm, they seem to be very greedy. I guess when you get to that point, you can charge what you want and rich people can and will pay it. Many lawyers these days forget why they got into the business or their oath to help people. If you have the knowledge and experience, the least you can do is sit down with someone for 30mins to hear about the case and determine if you can help them without charging. Or put on your website that you charge a $300 fee to consult so as to not waste anyone's time. But thank you to Heather for being polite.

We used McCarthy and Akers for two of our house closings (selling and buying), and we were very impressed by their professionalism, friendliness, and willingness to explain each step of the process. And when our buyer’s title company had made an error on the buyer’s documents, McCarthy and Akers caught it and got everything squared out with them before we signed the paperwork. We were so impressed that my wife and I came back to them when we decided to make our wills. Doug McCarthy, Dan Mitchell, and their team made the process extremely simple and explained all of our options that made it very easy to understand. We filled out a small packet ahead of time to give them pertinent information, and when we came for our initial meeting, Doug and Dan were prepared, and we were able to go through all the necessary information in 30 minutes. They had refreshments for us as well to top it all off! I recommend McCarthy and Akers to my family and friends, and I would do the same for anyone who needs the services they have to offer.

Me and my boyfriend went to the chesapeake location regarding breach of contract, a yo-yo deal by a dealership and the dealership ran our credit without permission as well as set up a new deal and moved our downpayment to it. The dealer also lied and misrepresented what was actually was going on with the lender and overall negligence with this deal. They actually withheld our funds well over the time frame that they were supposed to refund us. We have it all on recording, showing this. We paid 80 for 15 minutes (they did not have change , it is usually 75$) the lawyer was just too dismissive, he talked over us, cut us off in the midst of explaining and expected us to immediately shut up just because he started talking, there wasn’t any “excuse me for a moment “ or “may i interrupt “. He then told us we had no case and there’s nothing we can do and that we were only entitled to our down payment back from the dealer, out his own mouth he stated “even if they did breach the contract you’re only entitled to your downpayment”. I went to another lawyer a week later and explained the situation the exact same with the same exact contract from the dealership and was told my case is an extreme case of negligence and that our consumer rights were extremely violated and we have more than enough evidence to file a large civil suit. The new lawyer even offered to take our case pro bono. Overall, We felt embarrassed as two black individuals being dismissed and not given the time of day to explain how our rights were violated. I’m also in my senior year of college studying law, i knew something was wrong and very educated on VA consumer rights, and studied prior similar cases in the hampton roads where civil suits have been filed in YO-YO deals similar to mine. We also did not use the entire 15 minutes and still the price did not change. This is not a review to condemn the business however i do hope that in the future this can be used as a learning example, us a society is already struggling, for someone to go and pay funds for a service because something is seriously off with a situation that happened to them and then to be handled in such a nonchalant and authoritarian manner was heart breaking. I literally walked out and immediately started crying when we were done because this case has completely turned our life upside down with no car. A touch of kindness and morality is all it takes for your business to become outstanding in all walks of life .

My family and I called multiple lawyers but due to the short notice to appear in court we had no luck. We called Dannenbaum Law Firm two separate times for consultation and the second time was a charm. Despite the short notice, we met with attorney Dan for consultation, he accepted our case and two weeks later we were in family court. Dan is professional, knowledgeable, and efficient in our dealings for protective order and child custody. Dan was thorough, very timely, and made the process easy. This guy took advantage of me. He did not do what was in my and my children's best interest. He lied repeatedly to me and took my money until I had none left. He was awful. He did not care. Insanely insensitive and selfish.

Very satisfied with results from Mr. Curcione. He'll tell you what you need to know and what to do, regardless of how much you've screwed up in multiple occasions and situations, he does not give up and knows the law very well. He was able to dropped and closed false accusation cases and investigations against me which has been a long arduous process. Highly recommend if you're dealing with PPO and, as active duty service member, he worked with me through NCIS investigation, as well. Highly recommend to any and all criminal cases!
