Scheduled an appointment for consultation and when I received the appointment it was for a phone call.. I arranged my work schedule for that day to take the call at home for privacy as I work in an office of 2000 associates. She had her office to change my appointment time and move it up and I didn’t even get 24 hour notice that she needed to change the time. Then when I could not they attempted to change to the next day like I can just tell my job I am going to run out whenever I want. She then refused the consultation all together . Very unprofessional and rude.

Tim gave me a great deal of comfort going into our case. Spent a fair amount of time upfront and followed through with good outreach to the prosecutor. Got lucky with the judge's dismissal, but if that hadn't happened, we had a good plea deal ready to go. Without him, we would have had no palatable follow up plan.

I'm trying to think of what to say that would not sound generic, and all I can really think to say is to thank him for what he did on my behalf. My situation I'm sure was way more than 10 bar for but he stood by me the whole time to the point where there was clearly nothing in it for him. We contacted the Law Office of James Steele for help with a family member's time sensitive court issue. Within the hour, the incredibly helpful office practice manager had secured an attorney who could be available to take the case right away. We did not know Ms. Henderson before, but the way she attended court and expertly and professionally engaged with the judge, prosecution, and officers, showed her ease and skill in that arena. Every authority in uniform in that courtroom was actually happy to see her. She is clearly considered a professional in high regard. I was surprised at the excellent outcome she was able to secure for my family member. She was calm, kind, and reassuring. I got in my first major car accident last year in November and it was a major blow financially and emotionally for me because it wasn't my fault at all and I had no idea where to turn too for legal help. By the grace of God my fiancee's coworker suggested this law firm for my case because he had such a good experience with them and let me tell you he wasn't lying. Throughout the whole process so far they have been so helpful and nice making this traumatic experience for me so much easier to get through. While recovering from my injury they even sent little care packages! Me and my fiancee thought that was so nice of them, For them to go out of there way to do that for us. I have full confidence in them resolving my case and hopefully this review helps someone else reach out to get the help and compensation they deserve as well. She made negative comments on the phone - towards me and my situation. Her tone of voice was not professional as me being a first time caller looking for Chapter 13 assistance for a “second time”. I went back to my original lawyer Mr. Pecoraro and he did not berate me nor discourage me from a second filing. Told me she charges $1500 because the case would not be worth her time. Ok that’s great. I got my second chapter 13 done for $600 upfront and I didn’t get reprimanded like a child in the process. Professionalism goes a long way. Being kind and not snotty on the phone goes a long way.

Consulting Ethan Tidwell was an absolute godsend during my complex divorce case that involved the nightmare complexities of custody issues, finances, and an abusive/vindictive ex-spouse who falsely spread accusations about me during the divorce in an attempt to secure sole custody and leave the state with my children. And prevent my children from having a relationship with their father. Whenever Ethan was available for consultation, he was consistent in providing extremely valuable, honest, and reliable information. I was impressed in how I could ask Ethan any question and he always had an answer right away backed by extensive knowledge, objective facts, and a strong understanding of the inner workings of family court. He is also able to remember facts well and can regurgitate granular details from our conversations of months prior. This gave me confidence in speaking to him about my case. His guidance helped me in not only the legal aspects of my case but also in maintaining a positive bearing during what was one of the most emotionally-difficult periods of my life. Ethan has a good grasp of knowing what is important and what isn't, which often provided relief for me on many occasions when I was overstressed out about something. He gave solid guidance prior to my custody/fact finder evaluation. Ethan was always available in some form or fashion, which is rare with busy attorneys. If Ethan was in trial or mediation, he would always make a transparent attempt to let me know what he was doing whenever he was available to do so. And after he would reach back out, which speaks to his ability to juggle many cases at once. I have personally witnessed how he works hard around the clock. I remain more than impressed in how he continued to provide support for my case despite sometimes having to travel long distances within the state of California to represent his clients in other counties/jurisdictions as not all of his cases remain solely in Los Angeles. Additionally, Ethan is a family man and somehow has found a balance between being an active father and supporting me during my divorce. To me, this speaks to his time management, character, and credibility of being an attorney who cares despite all that life will throw at one in their personal life. I have a lot of respect for him not only as a professional, but also as a friend. Thank you Ethan!

Let me just start by saying that The Va. BON is not your friend. Eileen Talamante is your friend. You bet, she is an expensive friend, but that’s only because she is worth every cent you invest towards having her fight to preserve your professional license ( aka: your future earnings potential), and fight she will like a magnificent pitbull. It was absolutely delightful to watch her spank the BON’s adjudicator ( The nerdy little short man who also fancies himself as a sci-fi author) for trying to take false accusations about me and spin them into “facts” at my formal hearing which was closed/ thrown out as a result of Eileen’s hard work and diligence. It can be an uphill battle all the way when dealing with an administrative hearing where the BON’s attorneys only have to establish what they consider to be “clear and convincing” evidence. The burden of proof is NOT “beyond a reasonable doubt” as in criminal cases. Take my word for it, you will not be able to “clearly convince” the BON of your innocence if you go it alone at your informal or formal hearing. Why? Because you will never be able to imagine all of the potential pitfalls that the BON will present you with, especially if you attempt to represent yourself, which is what I attempted to do at my informal hearing. However, Eileen knows the BON’s tactics, as well as how to shut them down. I am certain that if I had retained Eileen prior to my informal hearing, there would have likely never been a formal hearing, my total legal expenses would have been much less, and I would have been back to work much sooner. So, be informed and make a better decision than I did. Get representation right away, early on. Because, the BON is NOT your friend. If you are being called for an informal hearing, it’s likely because the BON already believes that “clear and convincing” evidence already exists against you. The circumstantial evidence that was stacked against me was overwhelming. It was like a pit of quicksand and I was up to my chin. Eileen was the rope that pulled me out. For anyone who is actually guilty of some kind of misconduct, you would still benefit greatly from having Eileen’s representation in order to ensure that you fully understand how to best navigate the disciplinary process imposed on you by the BON and that they are not excessive in regards to their ruling.

When I was faced with a BON complaint, I chose Eileen to represent me and guide me through the entire process, and I could not have made a better decision! From day one Eileen was informative, honest, and knowledgeable about how to handle the issue. Throughout the entire process, Eileen advised and guided me on what to expect, the current process, and her recommendations to help me with the case. She is beyond skilled and knowledgeable in this type of law, and knows the ins and outs of it in every aspect of it all. Being an RN herself makes her an expert in her job. She is supportive and compassionate in a time of fear. Her paralegal Tracy is an absolute gem to work with as well. She is so easy to talk to and I felt like she has been a friend for years. I am so glad that I hired Eileen to represent me with the Board of Nursing. It was one of the scariest times in my life. Eileen is very knowledgeable regarding the BON process, and she helped me understand it. Throughout the whole ordeal she was compassionate and didn't make me feel bad about myself. She worked very hard to get me the best possible outcome I could get. I felt like I was in very good hands with her and her staff who is also great. After handling my own estate arrangements & will, I called on Richard to review and then handle my interests in the settlement of my Mom's estate. I am SO thankful that I did. Somewhat unusual arrangements complicated by naive executors and shady real estate brokers -- that took quite a bit of legwork to work-out -- were superbly resolved by Richard. Richard's calm demeanor & knowledgeable explanations coupled with sharp insights resulted in successful resolution of a situation that could have easily spun out of control. His willingness to go the 'extra mile', with support from an excellent staff, and his updates allowed me to shed the worry I was experiencing, and feel confident that my interests were well-represented. Even potential adversaries in this whole experience were complimentary of Richard's work! I recommend Mr. Nguyen without hesitation for those involved with estate settlements as well as real estate transactions. I believe his services would be particularly beneficial to those preparing for the inevitabilities of estate arrangements, whether their own or a loved one.

Richard advised me on a complicated property and court procedural matter for which there was no clear or obvious answer... he took all my questions seriously, researched his answers thoroughly and often on his own time late at night, and despite a busy schedule was always responsive and informed. I am very much impressed by his work ethic and his approach toward difficult situations that came across in my case. The best thing about him was that whenever a crisis came about, he would present the situation to me in a very calm manner and at the same time give me a set of possible solutions to the problem.. He would then let me choose the approach that I felt most comfortable with. This made me feel that I am in very good hands. Mr. Harvill represented me in both an extremely complicated divorce and real estate matter. At all times he was well prepared and researched every complicated issue thoroughly.
