We used Hanger Law for our closing and couldn't have been happier with the experience. Our lender messed up some key name spellings on the closing documents and they were very quick to resolve the issue with almost no time lost. Great law firm with very friendly employees. My Brother was Recently Arrested on a seemingly crucial Charge, which carried significant Jail Time. After Hiring Marie for not only the Bond Hearing ,which she got reduced to a realistic cost. We Also hired Her for The Whole Case. Very Happy with The Results, that could of been severe, but instead very little jail time and small probation sentenced. I was charged with a show cause for breaking a peace bond. I honestly had no idea what I had done to break the complainant's peace since I purposely had nothing to do with her and I had moved over 100 days after she made the complaint. Jason took my case and worked diligently to discover the reason. He found that the reason was unjustified. In court, Jason discredited the complainant and found that everything she said was untrue and the case was dismissed. Jason was very understanding of my mental state as I dealt with this trying time. He was compassionate and he and his team reassured me often that I had nothing to worry about. He definitely proved in court that justice and honesty always wins. I highly recommend Jason Miyares for any legal advise or representation you need.

I used the Slovensky Law firm for my divorce. I looked up lawyers in the surrounding area near Roanoke, and this firm had wonderful 5 star reviews. Those reviews helped me realize this is who I need to help me through my divorce. Mrs. Slovensky helped me every step of the way to understand the process and always so positive in helping me get through this. My ex-husband wanted a very large sum of my retirement plan. She brought in another company to evaluate every part of my plan and lowered the sum substantially!!!! By doing this, I was able to walk away from the marriage not owing him a large sum of money. Elizabeth and her team were able to drive my mother-in-law through Green Card approval process to completion. The process hit some unfortunate turns when she received incorrect documentation from other countries (Hungary) that was not accepted by US processing center without explanation. We have spend months and months in attempts to find out the reason and move the case from the dead point, including involving senator request to US visa processing center officials. During this time, Elizabeth and her team (Sofia Solonari) were constantly in support. They were tried their best researching similar cases and providing their best advises based on their inner knowledge of the processing system and procedures. Without their guidance we would be lost in the confusing world of hundreds document, forms, and procedures.

Katherine was amazing to work with. She was very thorough with her explanations of everything we were working on for our trust. She was also very patient with us and answered all our questions (probably more than once) as most of these topics were new to us. I would highly recommend Katherine and team!

Joan Fine has been my lawyer since 2015. She has represented me on several issues. She represented me in legal action against a fraudulent building contractor with an outcome as good as possible under the circumstances. She has done real estate contracts and lease agreement work with me and I have been very pleased with the results. She saved my bacon on a 1031 exchange that would have gone wrong had she not double checked the work of the out of state attorney that handled the exchange in the other state. All and all, Joan has been a great lawyer and a good contact that knows who's who in the local community. I highly recommend Joan Fine for any legal work or information gathering concerning the local community.

I was unprepared when my loving wife of 44-years became terminally afflicted with metastasized brain cancer in January 2017. For the next 14-months I was her primary caregiver. We were both only focused of her recovery and never considered whether her 28-year-old hand-written Last Will and Testament from South Carolina, would be accepted in Virginia. When my wife died in February 2018, it was hard enough to deal with my loss but, this problem was made considerably worse when the Virginia Circuit Court would not accept her Will. I was informed that her death would need to be filed Intestate (without a Will) in accordance with Virginia State Law. I also had credit problems, so I was unable to secure a bond from a Bonding Agency to secure my wife's Estate and, therefore did not have the ability to receive payment from her Life Insurance policy. After talking with one Law Firm who wanted a retainer of $2500 to litigate my case, I continued to search for another attorney. I was referred to a Winchester attorney, Joan Fine, who wasted no time investigating my wife's Will at the Courthouse and resolved my legal matters in less than 3-days. I was greatly relieved to be named Executor to my wife's Estate without need of a Bonding Agency, and Joan Fine only minimally charged me for her actual time of 1-hour. Before my wife had become retired in 2014, she was a part-time paralegal who referred to most lawyers as “sharks”. However, I am grateful to have found Joan Fine -- an honest and exceptional Estate Attorney who put her client’s needs ahead of herself.
