We have recently been working with Lehrman (“BevLaw” as I call them!) on our spirit formulations and then COLA label approvals
They have been IMMENSELY helpful and saved us tons of money in the long run and shaved off months on what it would have taken us personally to navigate the TTB system. Their contacts and intimate knowledge of the Formula approval and label approval process are far beyond what I’d learn in a whole year
Their expertise is definitely worth paying for, saved us a giant headache and also money and time in the end. Jaycee was a JOY to work with and always super responsive

I was sued by a large company a a form of intimidation to force me to return valuable art they sold me mistakenly. When no one was interested in our case Joe Watkins agreed to defend us. He was amazing. He saw the vulnerability in our opponent and used it to take the plaintiff off their game. We had a great result and we were very happy with the settlement. Over the course of the last 14 years I have used four different attorneys for the various issues that have arisen regarding custody of my child. Throughout my cases I was left wondering what my counsel was really doing. My attorneys were hard to get in touch with and I never really heard from them until a couple of days before the case went to court. I felt completely in the dark.
With Kellam, things were different from the start. He was very honest with his assessment of our case. Time was of the essence in my case and he hit the ground running. I had access to all the documents he had in my file through his internet-based case management system. I got the updates for our case as soon as he got them and I knew every step of the way how things were going. If I needed to ask a question, I got a quick response to my e-mails.

This review is long overdue and is more than well-deserved. A couple of years back, I had visited Staunton, VA with some friends. Before the night was over, I had received a charge and had to return for court. I looked around at several attorneys and had a few consultations. After a few rounds of that, I found Susan through a Google search and contacted her. She offered a free consultation and spent 30+ minutes with me on the phone going over the details of my case and the events leading up to the charge. She was extremely knowledgeable, proactive, and genuine in the consultation, which really stood out to me more than the other attorneys I spoke with. She gave me very solid advice and offered a very fair price for representation. I thought it over for a couple of hours and I quickly called her back, which was a very good decision. In the months leading up to the court date, Susan checked in on me several times and gave advice. When the day finally came to go to court, Susan talked to the prosecuting attorney and they decided not to pursue the charges against me, and gave me 25 hours of community service instead. The anxiety and tension I felt about potentially having a charge on my record faded away after that date. I could not be more grateful for the great work that Susan did for me. I will always recommend her to anyone who's looking for legal representation in Staunton and the surrounding areas.

Jack was thrown into my case, which was an extraordinarily complex issue involving retaliation from a multi-billion dollar tech company & the laws regarding pay for "on-call time", about midway to summary judgement. The (also very talented) lawyer I had originally hired had received a higher calling from the White House that could not be ignored, and so Jack was thrown into the fray. Jack spent an inordinate amount of time with a MASSIVE amount of evidence to plow through and did so admirably and without hesistation or complaint. I was able to receive a considerable sum offered in settlement without having to drag myself through another potential few years of litigation. This allowed me to put the anger aside and get on with the business of living my life, which to me is worth more than gold! Jack is an excellent listener, who allows his clients to vent as necessary, but will not hesistate to tell you things that you *need* to hear, as opposed to things you *want* to hear....which is exactly what most people treading the waters of employment law require. All together a stand-up guy who will fight for your rights, tooth and nail.

Robert Dain is the best lawyer in this area. He is a seasoned legal professional, experienced and extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of the law. Well respected in the courts, and held in high regard, Mr. Dain is fair and honest, humble -- all while committing himself to his clients' best interest in their case. I swiftly moved my divorce case to Mr. Dain after realizing my "family law" junior attorney was not making any traction, unfriendly and one who pandered to the OC. Mr. Dain is savvy and simply genuine. He had my best interest and that of my children at the forefront, in advocating for me. Robert (Bob) Dain and his partners at his firm handled my case (foreclosure resulting in subrogation claim filing Breach of Contract) in a professional manner and I didn't feel like he was 'riding the clock' so to speak on my case. EXPERIENCE MATTERS.... The plaintiff in my case was hoping for easy picking but Bob and his firm was able to blow it out of the water causing the Plaintiff Attorney to request a non-suit (Dismissal without Prejudice).
If you have a $90K problem you need a GOOD attorney and I would not hesitate to counsel Bob and his firm again for cases in Virginia.

I am an independent consultant in Northern Virginia with an LLC and have had Jeff review a few contracts.
He is excellent at communicating and is very responsive. When I email, he responds rapidly. When he says he'll get back to me at a certain time, he does. When we need to have a call, it is easy to schedule time.
Additionally, his edits to my contracts were definitely in my best interest. I know this because he spoke with me over the phone and gave thorough explanations of every change in each contract. His thoroughness means I much more comfortable when I eventually sign.

As a UK based customer the US telecommunications legal arena was completely alien to me and before he could start to represent us Jonathan worked hard to understand our structure and services.
Based upon his analysis our strategy with regards to US registration was completely changed and we have avoided considerable costs and complexity. I was faced with a family law issue where I could have represented myself. The matter was fairly cut and dried and I was concerned that hiring an attorney would be "overkill". As a business owner I have had to represent myself several times in small claims court and am not intimidated by legal matters. Ultimately I hired Matthew and he did a wonderful job representing me. Family court is very different from small claims and his presence was well worth the cost. If you are on the fence about hiring an attorney or representing yourself, I can not urge you enough to err on the side of caution and strongly consider Mr. Falwell as your legal representation. He was professional and competent in every aspect.

I decided to reach out and ultimately hire Ms. Pervaiz after receiving positive feedback from a friend. I am extremely happy with my decision because Ms. Pervaiz was very supportive and professional from beginning to end. At the time, I was in a very tight bind and conflicted on what to do next after reading about consequences that were levied on others in a similar situation to my own.
I knew that I wanted to hire Ms. Pervaiz after the initial consultation because she was confident and provided me assurance right away. She had handled similar cases in the past that yielded positive results so I was much more comfortable after reading all the horror stories online. After the initial consultation, she gave me a list of documents to obtain so she can review, understand, and fully assess my case.
After I sent over the documents, Ms. Pervaiz made herself available every day until my actual court date. This really put me at ease knowing that I could always reach out anytime I had any questions. I only called a few times mainly to ensure she had everything she needed but the initial checklist she gave me covered it all.
On the actual court date, we agreed to meet early to go over any final questions and to explain the process in the courtroom. She made it really easy for me as she did all of the talking. Mr. Laufar not only approached the case as requested, he also introduced other variables that resulted in a larger award. He explained parts of the law that we were not aware of at the time. Had we gone to Mr. Laufar 6 months earlier, we would have had a much larger award than obtained at the end of the case. We hired Adam to assist us with starting our new business. Adam met with us to help us understand the types of corporations and what worked best for us. He worked with us on our operating agreement and walked us through the entire trademark process including warning us about scams that may show up afterward (and they did!). Adam also reviewed and recommended changes to the terms and conditions and privacy policies for our website.
