Consulting Ethan Tidwell was an absolute godsend during my complex divorce case that involved the nightmare complexities of custody issues, finances, and an abusive/vindictive ex-spouse who falsely spread accusations about me during the divorce in an attempt to secure sole custody and leave the state with my children. And prevent my children from having a relationship with their father. Whenever Ethan was available for consultation, he was consistent in providing extremely valuable, honest, and reliable information. I was impressed in how I could ask Ethan any question and he always had an answer right away backed by extensive knowledge, objective facts, and a strong understanding of the inner workings of family court. He is also able to remember facts well and can regurgitate granular details from our conversations of months prior. This gave me confidence in speaking to him about my case. His guidance helped me in not only the legal aspects of my case but also in maintaining a positive bearing during what was one of the most emotionally-difficult periods of my life. Ethan has a good grasp of knowing what is important and what isn't, which often provided relief for me on many occasions when I was overstressed out about something. He gave solid guidance prior to my custody/fact finder evaluation. Ethan was always available in some form or fashion, which is rare with busy attorneys. Additionally, Ethan is a family man and somehow has found a balance between being an active father and supporting me during my divorce. To me, this speaks to his time management, character, and credibility of being an attorney who cares despite all that life will throw at one in their personal life. This firm did not get the job done for me, he had my case for almost an entire year then for no reason he dropped me. The communication was extremely poor. I immediately hired a local lawyer and within 2.5 months I had a settlement with the insurance company that granted the maximum on the policy. My new lawyer was very professional and followed through on everything he promised. What a difference.

I had a case with them a few years back from a referral and they did a horrible job of their due diligence when it came to finding out the other party's insurance limitations. Due to their negligence, they wasted time and my settlement money sending me to get MRI/X-Rays that were not able to be used for further treatments and the treatment they sent me to was horrible. I was VERY vocal about my needs at treatment and was ignored. I was not treated for my pain and suffering. back and knee injuries just don't go away, not even with $4500.

When I learned about my arrest warrant in Lake County I was overwhelmed to say the least. Throughout the process Maddie and Omar were incredibly helpful in dealing with the stress and providing answers to questions I knew little to nothing about. I knew if Omar's assistant was more caring and thorough than the other lawyers I had spoken with that I would be in good hands.
Fortunately I listened to my intuition and sought his counsel. Today in court we reached an agreement with the prosecution that was more than desirable, especially when considering the charges against me. I am incredibly grateful for all of Omar's help and expertise, not to mention experience.
