I was referred to TPMB and Sam Carl via a different firm while I was looking for a personal injury lawyer due to a serious cycling accident. If you have ever had the need to seek our representation you know how overwhelming the process can be and how difficult it is to know if you are making the right choice given the vast array of options at your disposal. Complex life altering injuries are scary enough, and if they involve negligence on the part of large well known corporations its even more intimidating. At the time TPMB was newly founded and little information about the firm existed, but after speaking with Sam and TPMB partners I felt reassured in my decision to retain them. He immediately jumped into action gathering time sensitive evidence and set realistic expectations every step of the way. His advice and recommendations over the course of 2 years were invaluable and ultimately played a big factor in being able to secure a favorable multi-party settlement prior to trial. Sam was always available and willing to answer questions or offer his professional point of view, even outside of traditional office hours if need be and his calm but diligent demeanor kept things moving with the minimal amount of stress. He was able to accomplish this with the uncertainty of Covid and disruptions to the legal system as a backdrop. I'd have no reservations recommending him or TPMB to those in a situation similar to mine.

Sam is a very genuine person. 100% transparency. No cause of concern. 100% trustworthy. Always has client's best interest in mind. All options will be on the table and all the pros and cons, clearly stated. Final decision is mine and he will value it. There was a stage when I was keen to accept the offer made but he felt it was not a fair deal for the extent of injury suffered. I recently had surgery that was very successful. I did not hesitate to let friends, family and acquaintances know that I had the surgery, how excellent the surgery went, who the doctor was and how he had changed my life.
My wife and I recently went through Chapter 7 bankruptcy with David Feinartz. The entire process as orchestrated by David was superb. But, have I gone out to friends or acquaintance an tell them that we had just gone through "Bankruptcy," and that we were so fortunate, so blessed to find an attorney that changed our lives. Unfortunately the answer is no. Why, at the age of 71, I did not want to advertise that our financial condition was such that we required the expertise of David Feinartz. I was ashamed that we had to file for bankruptcy.
David was recommended to us through a friend that admitted that he had experience bankruptcy and what a wonderful experience is was to work with David. Following up on our friends recommendation, we certainly found that to be true. We had been fighting financial problems since 2009 only going deeper and deeper in debt. As someone who is using Ostling and Abbott the only good thing I can say about them is that they allow you to make payments ahead of your bankruptcy filing . It seems very difficult to speak with someone who can help if you are not at the office. Speaking with my attorney seems to be impossible outside of an office appointment. They only seem to due the basics. They don't explain what is happening throughout the process. They just send me copies of the court papers without any explanation from them of what is happening or a follow up call or meeting.
I am left wondering constantly what is happening with my case fearing the worst because you can't get any help or your questions answered or if they do not in a sufficient time frame. I know others have had good experiences with them, this is just my experience with Abbott in general.

Robert was recommended to me by a friend, and my past experience with lawyers was not great, to say the least. I had always seen them (in injury circumstances) as someone who has the tools and vocabulary but essentially acts as a middle man that just takes most of what you are due. Not SO with Bob. I will keep this as brief as possible. My injuries were so devastating and life changing that I wanted nothing more than to forget about them. This "forgetting" included attempting to ignore any and all aspects of my case. To be honest, I would have quit my case just to be left alone and to be able to move on with my life. It didn't help that, in typical fashion, the defense had done everything in their power for years to blame the accident on me. After years of this and refusing to settle, the case finally went to trial in early 2013. If I remember correctly, it took a couple days of jury selection and on a Thursday or Friday Sean made his opening arguments and began examining expert witnesses. Long story short, when the weekend was over and we came back to court on Monday, the defense was ready to settle! It took a couple days of Sean putting witnesses on the stand for the defense to come to their senses. My life has changed dramatically since then...and for the better this time. To reiterate, I wanted nothing to do with this case for years and IT WAS MY CASE! Sean worked tirelessly for me and my life and I was THE most difficult client to work for. He never quit even when I wanted to. To this day I don not believe I would have won my case with anyone else fighting for me. These days I consider Sean one of my very good friends and I am endlessly thankful for his support.

This office is located in the heart of downtown Hinsdale and has a very inviting feel and atmosphere. John's paralegal, Racine, greeted me as I walked in and John was out of his office to shake my hand within a minute. I never felt rushed, nor did John make me feel like he was pressed for time or that he had more important matters to tend to, although I know how busy he is.

When the mortgage on my rental property was transferred to Nationstar and they failed to consistently send me a printed monthly statement; despite numerous request. I contacted attorney Coleman when I attempted to pay off the loan and discovered that Nationstar had re-applied all fees and charges applied to my account, which had been previously remove; when I explained my need for a printed statement, for accounting purposes; that I would not pay the bill online due their absorbent fees and that I would not be held responsible for fees associated with their failure to send me a printed statement as I had not opted into their digital services agreement.
Attorney Coleman, took over full communication with Nationstar and expeditiously, had all fees removed from my account and all marks against my credit removed based on Nationstar’s faulty business practices. I was very pleased with attorney Coleman’s results. I will definitely, consult his legal service in the future, if the need arises
