I feel compelled to warn others about this law firm after my terrible experience following a car accident. My advice? NEVER HIRE TV LAWYERS!
These attorneys are primarily focused on settling cases, and I had to fight with my own attorneys just to get a marginally better settlement. Communication was attrocious; it often took days for anyone to respond. When they did, it was clear they weren't paying attention—duplicated emails were common, showing a complete lack of professionalism.
The worst part? When we finally received our settlement, they couldn't even bother to meet my mom in person to thank her for choosing them. Instead, one of the attorneys coldly handed us our check after years of silence. On top of that, they hit us with unexpected charges for things like certified letters. It’s shameful.
This firm is more concerned with their image and commercials than actually helping clients. If you're looking for competent legal representation, do yourself a favor and find a private personal injury attorney who will truly fight for you. My experience here was a complete letdown, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through the same ordeal.

These attorneys are primarily focused on settling cases, and I had to fight with my own attorneys just to get a marginally better settlement. The worst part? When we finally received our settlement, they couldn't even bother to meet my mom in person to thank her for choosing them. Instead, one of the attorneys coldly handed us our check after years of silence. On top of that, they hit us with unexpected charges for things like certified letters. It’s shameful.
This firm is more concerned with their image and commercials than actually helping clients. This guy is awful. I signed a retainer with him thinking he would help me with an awful accident I was in, and he did absolutely nothing. There was a video of the accident, I was gravely injured and lost my job and academic career over it, and he did nothing for me after agreeing to represent me. Gave me no advice, never even interviewed me to see how I had been injured or what I had lost due to the accident. Worse than that, he sent me to a doctor (citimed) during covid and they didn't take temperatures or wear masks. He put my health in jeopardy and traumatized me. I saw cockroaches in the corners of every room. He failed to get the surveillance video of my accident, refused to take any phone calls with me until I threatened him with a lawsuit, then when I confronted him with the way he mishandled my case he dropped me as a client. Reporting him to the DA and the bar. I can't believe he's practicing.

I was living a nightmare for almost four years. I sold my home and the buyers' attorney fell for a scam e-mail, wiring my mortgage payoff to a fraudulent account at my servicing bank. All of the funds were completely withdrawn from the fraudulent account in a few days. I had no idea that any of this happened until the bank deducted a mortgage payment from my account weeks later. After my real estate attorney discovered what happened, the bank was notified of the fraud and told me not to worry, and that they would freeze the account until the situation was rectified. The buyers' attorney refused to take any responsibility, claimed to be a victim, and never notified the buyers that their home was subject to a lien from an unsettled mortgage. The local police and the FBI were notified and investigated and found that the scammers succeeded in getting the funds overseas. Everyone involved in the transaction denied responsibility and then the bank denied saying that they would freeze the account and referred me to collections, destroying my credit and putting my security clearance and livelihood at risk. I hired Tim and PLG to represent me in this matter, and when the bank refused to even discuss what had happed, he filed a civil suit on my behalf. Tim and PLG were relentless in fighting for me and helping me navigate through dealing with my employer as my clearance was in jeopardy. Were it not for Tim, I would have lost my clearance and my job. Unfortunately, there is little recourse for victims of this type of fraud and it is impossible to fight major banks, insurance companies, and attorneys without having the best on your side. I was lucky to have Tim and PLG on my side and I received a favorable outcome. Tim is passionate about what he does, seeking justice for his clients, fighting for "the little guy"! I hope no one ever has to go through what I did, but if you do, you need Parlatore Law Group in your corner!

I retained Jonathan Mann of SSRGA for an appellate case. He was meticulous, organized and thorough. He communicated very clearly. We handled the entire process via phone and text. The appellate court ruled in our favor. I would definitely have Jonathan and SSRGA perform any appellate work I have in the future based on my experience and their performance. They are expensive. However, there is an old adage - you get what you pay for.

Belluck & Fox did everything they said they'd do. During discussions with my lawyer, what was outlined in terms of the process and what would happen, they checked those boxes. My life has been changed forever by asbestos and it has caused a lot of physical damage to me. I had to have major surgeries and the firm was able to get financial compensation. They hold folks accountable, so it's a bit of a mental relief. My attorney Chris Hersom listened. He was very patient and understanding which was great, you don't find too many attorneys like that, they're more cut to the chase. He was focused on helping me and everybody that I dealt with at the office in New York was helpful. It got to the point where when I called they actually knew me. Heysell Brenes who works there, would help with things that had nothing to do with her. I don't know how to thank her enough through the whole process. Everybody at the office worked together as a team. It's almost like not dealing with a law firm, you're dealing with a family that's trying to help you.

I gave them a star because you must give them something. However this is the worst law firm ever. I wouldn’t recommended them what so ever( pay attention to the signs from the beginning)I am very disgusted with their communication and the way they operate in this office. I have worked with my attorney for over 20years and he was able to provide me with great referrals if the case wasn’t his expertise. unfortunately he passed young. I have been trying to build a new relationship with a law firm after 2 weeks of calling, leaving voicemails (Just to get a response if my case will be taken )however no one has heard my case whatsoever and on today’s date young lady(office manager)tells me to simply find a new law office because she can’t force the attorney to call and their are thousand of them I can call 🤦🏽♀️ If I was told that from the start I wouldn’t continue calling that’s one. I thought I was being patient by waiting on them to respond to my voicemails and instead it backfired. Are they really busy 🙄I really hope you guys are not keeping them busy because people like this are not genuine people and have 0 customer service skills.(it goes a long way) I was wondering why they kept changing people and there’s no new reviews 🤔 (reviews are mainly about Kristina, she is no longer there) It’s absolutely clear now they are not improving. They are probably over there finishing up their pending cases. When I was given their contact information by my attorney it was in 2014. Yes I do keep my contacts because you never know when you need it but moving forward they will be deleted,after many years of keeping them on my phone 😂. We are from out of state and were visiting NY. My wife fell on a slightly raised platform on the sidewalk and severely broke a bone in her hand. To the casual observer it might not have seemed like a serious injury, which is what the other side maintained, but Mr. Gershbaum immediately understood the severity, kept us well-informed every step of the way and always gave us our options and his opinions (as well as his colleagues) as to the merits of the case and where he thought it was headed. He made us aware of the developments in NY State law that had the potential to impact the case and when a settlement was offered explained the possibilities and gave us his opinion but allowed us to make the decision without pushing in either direction. We were extremely happy with the outcome and would highly recommend Mr. Gershbaum for his knowledge, professionalism, understanding and overall performance and results.

I had property dispute with my relatives abroad. The foreign court gave judgment in favor of the plaintiff. They tried to convert foreign judgment to New York State judgment.
The New York State Supreme Court rejected their case and they were
unsuccessful to get any money from me. I credit all the success to Mr Gershbaum ,s dilligence ,research and keen interest in such rare case. He was always one step ahead of the other party, Throughout the case ,he was very professional and pleasant. He was very innovative and receptive to my ideas. I will strongly recommend to anybody who is not well versed in legal matters

I would recommend Charles Gershbaum to anyone because I had a malpractice case that was in total disarray, it was released by two attorneys, and many others did not want any part of it. Then by a stroke of luck, I was put in contact with Charles Gershbaum. My review and stars only refer to Raykin, Yelena. This lawyer is unprofessional and always in a rush. She is not available to do any closings after 2 pm because she said she will get stuck in traffic on her way home. People from the bank agreed to come at 3 pm and she rudely denied my request. She sent a very rude email telling me that if I am late for the closing she will charge a few hundred dollars extra. The closing only took 30 minutes! Stay away from her, she is NOT flexible and willing to work with her clients! Nasty person... I don't even know why we need a lawyer because she was completely useless.

l was facing a summons complaint through TLC court. TLC basically treat their licensees like criminals? TLC court is unlike DMV court where the respondent must show up in person to testify. Kate Mcgauley is very aggressive attorney, l was very impressed & amazed with the way she defended my case rigorously, and she was able to dispose of my TLC case... A+++++ Thanks again Kate!
