From our first meeting, I could tell David understood how everything on the insurance side would work out. I came to Hillsboro office of Vames, Wang & Sosa with a small, yet frustrating situation case when I was the innocent party in an accident with two other cars. I was T-boned by another driver and the fire department had to pull me out of my truck. I had disc replacement surgery in my neck and a right shoulder decompression and a rotator cuff repair. My life stopped and I'm not the same person I was before. All I can do now is keep moving forward. Rick Lundblade helped me do that. I was injured on a charity motorcycle ride. I was severely injured. I underwent multiple surgeries. I was close to death many times. I was on life support. I lived in the hospital and a rehab facility for awhile. I could barely move. I had multiple surgeries. After the first few surgeries I had multiple boxes of multiple reams of paper from the medical records of this event. I tried to handle my claim myself because the total limit amounts were far less then my damages. The insurance companies were trying to get over on me. It took weeks to summon enough energy to call and deal with the insurance people and the claim process. After getting the run around from the insurance companies I had thoroughly researched the top lawyers in Oregon. I contacted most of these super lawyers and lawyers with prestigious accolades who are considered the best. For the most part they treated my situation as just another case. I came across Travis Mayor who is also a Super Lawyer with many prestigious accolades as well. I called the office of Travis Mayor and spoke with his kind receptionist. She informed me that Travis was on vacation. A few minute later I received a call from Travis in Hawaii! He cares that much about his clients that he called me from Hawaii while he was with his family. I told him my situation and out of kindness and compassion he said this total limit amount of money would in no way be fair to you. So Travis offered me an EXTREMELY low flat fee out of the kindness of his own heart. He truly cared about me and my situation. After all the pain it was a blessing to come across a man who truly cared. Once Travis took over I was able to focus on recovering. Travis was extremely easy to contact and in most cases got back to me before I could get back to him. He kept me updated and presented everything to me in a direct and clear manner. He outlined the choices I could make and he let me have full control over the decisions of the case while guiding me throughout the process effortlessly. Travis got the limit amounts from both insurance companies. He negotiated my bills down extremely low. And he also searched every possible outlet for further money. Travis went above and beyond and he did it all like a champion with no sweat. Travis is the best lawyer I could have gotten not just in Oregon but anywhere in the globe. I do not think Travis could have done anything better. Travis performed at 1000% and went above and beyond for me and not for money but out of care for my situation. I was rear ended in a motor vehicle accident in December of 2021 and suffered a neck injury. I tried months of physical therapy and eventually connected with Joel Sturm and TUE. I can not even begin to describe the level of effort and concern they put into my case. Joel was present at doctors appointments, he constantly checked on me. The thing he said over and over was "Let's get it fixed, we can worry about other stuff later." The decision to eventually undergo surgery was left to me, and what I thought was best with the advice of the doctors. There was no talk of money and no pressure to settle the claim quickly. It eventually concluded in November of 2023. When it came time to take care of things Joel did an AMAZING job. I just stayed out of his way and let him use his expertise. When he called me to tell me what the settlement was, I didn't believe him. I thought he was pulling my leg. I made him repeat it three times. The job that Joel and TUE did was incredible. I wish the accident had not happened because of the pain and suffering that it caused. Even with physical rehab and surgery I am going to have some soreness and stiffness in my neck for the rest of my life, but because of the accident I met Joel and I am so grateful to him because he worked so hard to represent me and my interests. It was a blessing that I got connected with Joel and TUE.

Mr. Wendell Belknap has been handling legal documents such as Last Will and Testament for my wife and me for many years. When my wife passed away last year, I asked Wendell for help with settling an IRA account that my wife had forgotten to link to a beneficiary. He was immediately helpful, explaining the various options available. After we selected probate as most appropriate, he carefully explained all aspects of the process, guiding me through how to get the personal representative class, summarizing assets, and formal notification (listing in local papers) for creditors, which he took care of. He referred me to another attorney who specialized in estates to help with determining the value of the estate. Additionally, Wendell personally handled communications with the IRA administrators regarding the probated estate so that appropriate paperwork would be completed. Wendell was always available for my questions and was clearly concerned that the process should be as easy and painless as possible. While probate can take a long time, and this one did, I was never concerned with the process knowing that Wendell was watching it every step of the way. I would highly recommend Wendell as your first contact lawyer.

I consulted Jason over the period of two days while I was in the process of settling my personal injury claim for a car accident. Even from my brief dealing with him, it is clear to me he is a knowledgeable and compassionate attorney who takes excellent care of his clients. Most attorneys wouldn't even speak to me because my claim was not large enough to warrant their attention. My husband and I hired Jason after my husband was in a bad car accident. Jason was fantastic through the long process of getting my husband the proper compensation for his current and future losses, he was educated and seemed to genuinely have my husbands and my best interest at heart. For a time I was a legal assistant, so i have a fairly good sense when it comes to telling the difference between a great, mediocre, and lousy attorney. Derek Larwick is one of the best I have come across. He'll evaluate your case and give you an honest answer as to whether or not it would be prudent to move forward. No BS, no "ambulance chaser" mentality, just a straightforward, knowledgeable dude. His staff is great as well-- very responsive and sweet. My feelings about him were validated the day I walked into his office and saw what looked like a florists' shop more than an attorney's office. I asked about the numerous vases of flowers and was told that they were all from happy clients. Need I say more?

I have been a trial attorney for over fifteen years. When I was injured in a car wreck, I looked carefully for an injury attorney who: a) would take away all of the hassle and stress of personally having to deal with claims adjusters and opposing counsel; b) would not only keep me informed on a regular basis of the status of my case, but proactively make sure I was doing all the things I needed to do on time; c) knew Personally Injury law thoroughly -- both substantively and with demonstrated litigation experience -- from the claims stage all the way through courtroom litigation; and, d) MOST IMPORTANTLY, one who was not afraid to seek the best possible outcome in my case aggressively. (I have been around enough attorneys to know that many are either afraid of litigation/trial, or they want to take the first or second counter offer from the other side because it's quick money in the bank.) Elizabeth exceeded my expectations on all four of my requirements. I consider myself to be pretty on the ball with my to-do checklists, but sometimes when I slacked on sending in treatment reports to the firm, for example, she would email me personally reminding me to get a, b, or c done, and would also update me with that status of the case/negotiation so I always understood exactly where things were. In addition, on our second settlement obtained (the UIM claim), Elizabeth was actually confident that she could get the other side to an even better number than she'd already negotiated. It was me who let her know that I trusted that she could, but that just for my peace of mind I wanted to settle at the good enough number she already obtained and move on with my life. She would have kept fighting, though, and with confidence. I retained Matt for a slip & fall injury because the insurance company was not working with me. After Matt took my claim over I did not have to do anything. We first consulted with Mr. Bruce Bottini in June 2016 as a result of an accident that involved my husband Mitch, and an out of state truck driver. We were unsuccessful at contacting the truck drivers insurance company. My husband required two cervical surgeries and was unable to work for about two months. We had several hundred thousands in medical bills and had exhausted our own insurance. The truck driver was uncooperative and we needed legal representation. Mr Bottini was excellent. After meeting with us in his office, he met us about a week later in the town at the scene of the accident. He brought an accident reconstructionist to verify the general facts, and then spoke with several "witnesses" later that day and the next. It took 3 years to arbitrate this situation, however in that time, he was able to prevent collections from harrassing us, and he brought in an additional lawyer at no cost to us who specialized in trucking cases. That lawyers name is Tim Williams and he is located in Bend, Oregon. The two lawyers worked in tandem to ensure our case was in solid position to be presented in court and at an arbitration. The arbitration was ultimately successful and we felt that we were in excellent hands through the entire process. We felt very fortunate to have both Mr. Bottini and Mr. Williams representing us throughout the entire time. We were very pleased with the outcome and can confidently recommend both Mr. Bottini and Mr. Williams as excellent lawyers that were prepared to take on any situation that could arise in the course of a litigation.

Our daughter was hit by a car and killed while in a crosswalk. We were fortunate to find Josh to take our case. I could not imagine a more effective attorney. I've known of Jim Walsh since my High School days. He was a couple years ahead of me; I've always admired his demeanor and grit. You never think you'll need an attorney until you do. And I needed one a few years back. I was ticketed for a DUI that was not your usual DUI. I was eating dinner with an old flame who I knew for years. She worked as any ER nurse at a local hospital here. She was unhappy that I didn't want to take her back and resume our relationship. At the end of our meal, which included drinks (too many) she got up and went to the restroom. We payed the bill and went to the parking lot where she said she didn't want to come over to my house at that time. Got in my truck and pulled out on the main road. Looked ahead and wasn't shocked to see two cruisers no more than 100 yards down' the road. I knew immediately what had happened. She had called a police friend of hers from work turned me in to him. I drove by the cruisers (they were pointed away from the direction I was going) and they turned and started to follow me. No more than a mile down the road they illuminated and pulled me over. (I was so flustered I failed to signal a turn) Busted. I was incredibly upset about how this went down. A 50's year old man was now screwed. I called Jim and he met me. He helped fill out my initial paperwork and ordered my evidence for review. I was correct in my thinking I was set up. The police report confirmed this. Jim was incredible. He went with me to my court appearances and stood by me. The advice he gave me was spot-on. I wouldn't have made it through the process and might of even done some revenge type activities without him. He even called me nine months later and told me what to do to ensure I got my case dismissed ( after diversion and everything else). He truly cared for me. He was just what I needed. I can truly say that he was more than an attorney. A good, solid attorney (and friend) who payed attention to all the details and held me up through the entire process. I didn't expect this from a lawyer. But Jim is more than just a lawyer. His depth of experience ( he had worked for the same City that I was arrested in) was incredible. I can truly say I wouldn't have gotten through the process without him being right along with me. He's a good man.

Mr. Walsh and myself were involved in two auto accident cases. The first of the two accidents involved an Indochinese woman who was working in Corvallis where she was hit in a crosswalk as she crossed the street. The woman, a friend of mine, had extremely limited English skills. She ask me to assist her in the resolution of her situation. I selected Jim from the yellow pages for a consultation. Upon hearing the plight of this woman, who worked for minimum wage with no health or auto insurance and now hospitalize and unable to work. he drove to Corvallis with me to speak with this woman. He obtained the pertinent information and agreed to take the case for a significantly reduced fee. He worked diligently with myself to resolve the woman's claim. he was compassionate and caring as well as being a knowledgeable and dedicated attorney. The second incident, a head-on auto crash, involved myself. A car crossed the center medium and struck my car. I was not seriously injured, how ever I had a damaged knee, fractured ankle, a cracked rib as well as multiple cuts and bruises to my face, legs, and arms. Jim and his staff worked closely with me through the settlement process, keeping me informed as the claim progressed. Again, Jim demonstrated his knowledge of the law and his understanding of the claim process. As important as his excellent professional expertise, was his personal concern for me as an individual. I was not just a client. He always had time for me and my concerns. I can not express enough the manner in which Jim and his staff treated me. I highly recommend him as a lawyer and as caring compassionate human being. If need, would not hesitate in employing his services again.

I was rear ended by a driver while sitting on my motorcycle at a stop light . I sustained a herniated L4 and an impingement. Jim allowed and encouraged me to focus on my recovery, which, after all is the most important thing, while he and Nancy took care of managing the bills and the surgery related to the accident. Jim's counsel was invaluable to me, since I know next to nothing about the legal system. I contacted Mr. Galm about a car accident. He called me back to sort out if we really needed his services and spoke with me by telephone for 20 mnutes. He explained the way the laws would work in our situation and what he would expect to happen. In a situation which had caused a great deal of anxiety for our family, he was able to ease our minds in minutes. Kindness goes a long way. Mr. Hilts did not represent me. He did, however, provide a consultation. I was very impressed with the prompt call back. Although he couldn’t take my particular case, he was able to refer me elsewhere. He was very personable, courteous, and respectful throughout my interaction with him. I had a car accident in 2015 that left me injured. I had no lawyer and no reference, so I simply search "attorney" and my zipcode on a search engine and found Ryan. I called him and several other attorneys. He answered my call right away, talked with me for a while and we set up an appointment to meet.
