After having my car totaled and needing physical therapy for the injuries I sustained, the insurance company tried to pressure me to settle before I knew the full scope of treatment I would need over the next year. I am glad I went to PDX Law Group and worked with David Richardson, who helped me understand how to navigate this system without getting taken advantage of, prioritized my care and well being, and was clear and consistent with all communication. Not only that, but he advocated on my behalf when the insurance company tried to nickel and dime what they should pay for my treatment and called them out when they would back pedal on their word. While walking, I was hit by a vehicle. The collision broke my leg. I thought the case was simple. The other side was responsible for the harm they caused. What I didn’t realize is my recovery was going to have its ups and downs. I did not know the legal system on how the insurance carrier was going to view my injuries as opposed to the effects it had on my life. I was referred to David Eder and his firm. The law partners (Andrew, Ben, David and Joel) do all of the legal work. They set up meetings with my treatment providers and explained how we could put together my legal case. They are aggressive in negotiations and confident in their approach. David also took calls on nights and weekends.

I was T-boned by another driver and the fire department had to pull me out of my truck. I had disc replacement surgery in my neck and a right shoulder decompression and a rotator cuff repair. My life stopped and I'm not the same person I was before. All I can do now is keep moving forward. Rick Lundblade helped me do that. Ronald Downs handled my car accident claim, that has gone on for nearly two years, and has handled everything exceptionally. He's walked me through all of the best possible ways and solutions to handle my case through and through, and has always been extremely professional with communication. Although as professional as he is, Ron can be very laid back, and is great at maintaining equal energy with his clients.

I have been a trial attorney for over fifteen years. When I was injured in a car wreck, I looked carefully for an injury attorney who: a) would take away all of the hassle and stress of personally having to deal with claims adjusters and opposing counsel; b) would not only keep me informed on a regular basis of the status of my case, but proactively make sure I was doing all the things I needed to do on time; c) knew Personally Injury law thoroughly -- both substantively and with demonstrated litigation experience -- from the claims stage all the way through courtroom litigation; and, d) MOST IMPORTANTLY, one who was not afraid to seek the best possible outcome in my case aggressively. (I have been around enough attorneys to know that many are either afraid of litigation/trial, or they want to take the first or second counter offer from the other side because it's quick money in the bank.)
Elizabeth exceeded my expectations on all four of my requirements. I consider myself to be pretty on the ball with my to-do checklists, but sometimes when I slacked on sending in treatment reports to the firm, for example, she would email me personally reminding me to get a, b, or c done, and would also update me with that status of the case/negotiation so I always understood exactly where things were.
In addition, on our second settlement obtained (the UIM claim), Elizabeth was actually confident that she could get the other side to an even better number than she'd already negotiated. It was me who let her know that I trusted that she could, but that just for my peace of mind I wanted to settle at the good enough number she already obtained and move on with my life. She would have kept fighting, though, and with confidence.
I know another attorney who also retained her and came away also completely pleased with the communication and with the outcome.

Kindness goes a long way. Mr. Hilts did not represent me. He did, however, provide a consultation. I was very impressed with the prompt call back. I had a car accident in 2015 that left me injured. I had no lawyer and no reference, so I simply search "attorney" and my zipcode on a search engine and found Ryan. Work related "stress" claims are difficult to prove in Oregon. After many rejections from other attorneys I was fortunate enough to try Art Stevens. Art was not afraid to take my case! When I picked the company that Sean works for, I didn't know which Attorney I was going to get. When he called me and talk to me he gave me the confidence that I chose the right place and Sean. He told me what he would do for me but would also support any decision about my case, even if he didn't feel it was the right course of action. He was there for me as his Client. I had complete access to him through emails, phone calls, etc. Sean listen to me offer suggestions. He gave me the stress relief I needed so I only had to work through him. We hired Sean after an on the job injury for my husband. We were originally going it alone because I had a little background in Worker's Comp, so I knew enough to know how things worked. BUT... it became very clear that we were not being treated fairly, so we asked around for an attorney. Sean came HIGHLY recommended and there was a good reason for that. Sean was AMAZING!!!! Jeremiah was amazing, helping me with every part of my case. From my initial consultation I knew he was trustable, as he tried to assist me with resolving the matter on my own, saving time and money, which would have prevented him from gaining a client. Unfortunately the insurance company wouldn't budge, and I had to take legal action. From the moment I signed on with Jeremiah he took care of everything. I’ve known Joel since I got in my accident in April of 2022. The chiropractic office that I was going to pushed me to call him emphasizing that he would make sure I was taken care of - and they were completely right. Mr. Wendell Belknap has been handling legal documents such as Last Will and Testament for my wife and me for many years. When my wife passed away last year, I asked Wendell for help with settling an IRA account that my wife had forgotten to link to a beneficiary. He was immediately helpful, explaining the various options available. After we selected probate as most appropriate, he carefully explained all aspects of the process, guiding me through how to get the personal representative class, summarizing assets, and formal notification (listing in local papers) for creditors, which he took care of. He referred me to another attorney who specialized in estates to help with determining the value of the estate. Additionally, Wendell personally handled communications with the IRA administrators regarding the probated estate so that appropriate paperwork would be completed.
Wendell was always available for my questions and was clearly concerned that the process should be as easy and painless as possible. While probate can take a long time, and this one did, I was never concerned with the process knowing that Wendell was watching it every step of the way. I would highly recommend Wendell as your first contact lawyer.

I was injured on a charity motorcycle ride. I was severely injured. I underwent multiple surgeries. I was close to death many times. I was on life support. I lived in the hospital and a rehab facility for awhile. I could barely move. I had multiple surgeries. After the first few surgeries I had multiple boxes of multiple reams of paper from the medical records of this event. I tried to handle my claim myself because the total limit amounts were far less then my damages. The insurance companies were trying to get over on me. It took weeks to summon enough energy to call and deal with the insurance people and the claim process. After getting the run around from the insurance companies I had thoroughly researched the top lawyers in Oregon. I contacted most of these super lawyers and lawyers with prestigious accolades who are considered the best. For the most part they treated my situation as just another case.
