I was referred to Ralph about an auto accident claim from another professional. Ralph took a number of weeks to respond to my initial contact and asked that I send him over all the information from my case. After receiving this he told me he'd get back to me by the end of the week.
4 weeks later he left me a VM saying he couldn't take my case. He asked that I call him back so we could talk about it a bit more and I tried calling and e-mailing to get a hold of him and he completely ghosted me and never responded again. I work in the professional services industry and this is a huge RED FLAG and terrible professionalism. I caution anyone looking for an attorney to avoid engaging his services and find a professional who will actually communicate like one.

I have been sent to him by the Oregon Bar a few times. When I contact him he agrees my case is horrific and awful and people should not be treated this way and my case is strong, etc. However, he refuses to accept the case saying he is too busy. When the truth is told my case will not bring him enough money (according to other lawyers). He only takes rich cases and leaves the rest of us to rot.

Paul Bovarnick started out as my lawyer and as the case went I made a friend. He was always honest with me and talk to me often about the plan. Paul always called and questions about the case, more importantly he want to know how I was doing. Then he stayed honest to the case, he never tried to build or take the case anywhere that we could not support the facts. Today we are still friends because of his honesty and friendship. If I have questions about things he still always answers his phone and talks with me and gives me great advice. Paul Bovarnick is my lawyer, my friend and you could not find a better lawyer for your case.

I recently worked with Lee Ann Donaldson at the Nichols Law Group and I would recommend her to anyone needing this type of legal representation. She will aggressively pursue your claim to its fullest, while also treating you with great care and compassion. I honestly hope you never need her services, but if you do, call her right away. My only regret is that I waited a couple of weeks after my vehicle crash before contacting a lawyer. In hindsight I should have called & hired her immediately after. When you are injured and dealing with doctor appointment after appointment, the last thing you want to be doing is talking to any insurance reps. Just hire a professional right away. Lee Ann is the consummate professional in her field.

This review is specifically about attorney Kristen West McCall at the firm. As with many people, I have a love-hate relationship with attorneys and a definitely diverse view of the attorneys I have dealt with over the years; far more negative comments than positive as a rule. So it gives me singular pleasure to provide a very positive and laudatory review for Kristen. She is very good at her job; tenacious, innovative and thorough. I would not like to be on the opposing side when she represents you. She is also very much your advocate. Now that may seem obvious, but many attorneys consider you nothing more than a source to bill. I can earnestly say that is NOT the case here. Before there is even a conversation about money, she listens to the facts of the case, provides guidance and will be upfront as to whether she thinks it should be pursued. She is flexible and reasonable; two words that do NOT automatically apply to many counselors. She is proactive, answers her phone (or calls you back in a timely fashion if she is otherwise engaged) and most importantly, adds a large measure of common sense to her legal expertise. If you have occasion for a personal injury attorney, make sure Kristen McCall is on your short list. Incidentally, you will note on this site that my engagement with her was for a consultation. She was not hired (though she certainly would have been) because she explained after a thorough examination, that the case, which would be on contingency, would not lead to a positive outcome. She mentioned I could hire her to pursue it on an hourly fee basis, but discouraged me from doing so. My case in total was 11 months of medical provider treatment followed by a ridiculously low offer from the insurance company given I have sustained permanent injury. I contacted Adam, and entered a 24 month legal process - driven exclusively by my insurance company because an uninsured driver hit me.
I believe it to be worth it given settlement offer to me was 5 X over original offer. By my calculations, my settlement paid me about $100 per hour of my time and paid Adam about $700 per hour of his. Adam's services are totally worth it as I was not further taken advantage of by my insurance provider or the uninsured driver.
That said, the process of negotiation with my insurance company has been absolute crap, lengthy, dealing with a patronizing insurance company (and it's local legal team, which took 12 months to appoint), and generating a sense of powerlessness for me as my time was clearly ranked less valuable than the legal system. Adam could not have done better.

I directly emailed him a copy of the laws regarding the statutes of limitations because " my timelines had not run out ". He didn't even have the integrity to respond . . .

I was given Adam's name after a really awful car crash, and having never been in the situation wasn't really sure what to do. Adam was patient in explaining each step of the process, consulting me to make sure I was comfortable with each decision and backing me up when the insurance company was being elusive (shocker). I really appreciated his help navigating a scary time and taking some of the pressure off of figuring out what I needed to do so I could focus on healing. Would definitely recommend Adam!

NOT RECOMMENDING CLARK LAW & ASSOCIATES! Jenny Clark was the partner in charge overseeing my lawyer, Caleb Dorrance.
I initially was impressed, but come the time of Arbitration, I realized they didn't know my case well, confused it with others and then Caleb forgot to file witness paperwork so was not able to ask them questions, which lost that part of the case. He told me at the time, I had the right to file Bar complaint against him, it was a pretty big mistake.
The owner of the firm was even worse professionally and made mistakes. JENNY JENNIFER CLARK... wow, so beyond unprofessional. Twice I got emails for other clients from her, one included the attached settlement! Other clients had similar names but not THAT close.
After my lawyer left her firm a days after my case settled, and I still needed help getting the landlord to adhere to agreement, and sent email as directed before he left.... JENNY CLARK replied that case closed and they are no longer were my lawyer and provided Oregon Bar website link to find another. It was pretty awful, left me hanging.
I replied how she was the senior partner on my case, sat in on my first appointment and said would be there. I was just needing the firm that represented me to make sure the other side does what they legally agreed. I ended that email with "Are you saying you won't do that?"... she replied alright...Can't attach here so SEE GOOGLE REVIEW ATTACHMENT of EMAIL FROM JENNY CLARK LOSING HER MIND. I get life was hard for her, but it was for me as well. That was why I hired them.
THEY GOT $20K BUT WOULDN'T HELP ENFORCE THE AGREEMENT THEY NEGOTIATED.
Do yourself a favor, keep searching for another firm. This one talks a good game but doesn't play well with others, especially the partner, JENNY CLARK.

He is always available to answer questions and do a through job reviewing my case. My case is very unique. I would highly recommend rick Davis for civil rights cases involving police. Very happy to have used Gregory Gudger for my recent divorce. These things are tough for everyone, and Greg stayed focused and was extremely helpful in helping me craft a fair, equitable, and compassionate settlement...for both parties. I know that my ex-spouse would also agree with this assessment. Even though it was a non-contested proceeding, there were still a lot of moving parts that had to be dealt with, and I wanted someone who would help me make the outcome fair for us both. My ex and I are still great friends, our new lives as seperate people are working out great, and I owe Gregory's sage advice a great deal of the credit for making this happen. Side note: My will also had to be re-written after the divorce, which I was able to sail through with Gregory's help. Done and done. Our family has relied on Mr. Gudger for most of our legal needs, from fighting housing related issues to creditor lawsuits. Mr. Gudger took on an old creditor that tried to take everything we own. He found a loophole had the lawsuit dismissed, saving us $100,000. The investment we made with Mr. Gudger was worth it. And, over the years, he has advised us with positive results. No lawyers are perfect, though some might think they are. Sometimes you have to pay to find out there's nothing you can really do. But, even that advise is valuable. I refer Mr. Gudger whenever I can and have recently sent two friends to consult with him. He's accessible, down to earth and is a fighter. I'll go into court with Mr. Gudger any day.

In the eleven month period of Mr. Gudger as my attorney I'm in the same place as I was at the beginning of my child custody case. Mr. Gudger was at first, for a couple of months in seemingly helpful, yet there were things that just didn't seem accurate that he was telling me around my case. He didn't seem to know my case, or my name even, until I was beginning to show frustration from me leaving voice mails when he was not in and it would take days to finally reach him. He did not provide me with monthly invoices for services rendered, instead it was a telephone call requesting more funds but to no explanation of what for. I personally felt no reassurance for the last six months of mr. Gudger as my attorney. He failed to provide, a note of leaving my case of any kind yet he insisted he was no longer my attorney. I came to him in hopes of some justice to my case . I am still scheduled in court in January with him as my attorney but to my surprise he let me go with not so much as a phone call, email or written statement. I also paid a deposit for a court session to mr. Gudger for a court appearance that never happened which he just kept, and now he doesn't respond to my phone calls or emails.

Hired this "attorney?" for a child custody case for my daughter. Extremely unprofessional in her demeanor and attire. She charges $275.00 an hour for her services and will charge you for every little thing! During her/our first hearing with the judge, she was unable to even present her case after a combative attitude and heated arguments with the judge. Judge decided case without even speaking to my daughter, or any of her witnesses because of this. We fired her and her final bill was trumped up to squeeze out every last dime from us...Final cost: $5500.+ just up to the FIRST hearing! BUYER BEWARE, it is our opinion that it is all about running up the bill with her!

When we came to Shelley, we were desperate. My husband had been dealing with having his daughter withheld from him at random, and constant abusive text messages from his daughter's mother. His daughter was not in the greatest situation, and the judge was believing all of the lies that were being told to her for years upon years. Enough was enough! We searched and searched, Shelley came to the rescue! She gave us hope, and reminded my husband that he IS a good father, and deserves his daughter on a consistent basis. She gave specific guidance on how to organize information and give it to her. She did not make any open ended promises. Shelley is very black and white. She keeps it real. She isn't going to sugar coat things for you, or fluff things up to make them what they aren't. If she needs something or has a concern she will bring it to the appropriate person's attention in a professional manner.
She helped make our family complete. She has been a great investment to our family, and gave us what we were not able to achieve on our own...our daughter. Not only was my husband granted more parenting time, but he was also granted sole custody. Now we can rest easy knowing that she is getting the BEST possible care and education, all thanks to Shelley Fuller! We love her!

The absolute most fraudulent lawyers in the civil rights focus. They perpetuate that they care but the pothead owner Greg Kafoury is very cold calloused and uncaring. My great grand uncle housed civil rights activists in his home as a prominent physician and best friend to MLK through his college years.These white people just care about profits they make off the racial issues we face here. When I needed them most they tuned me away those I had a previous case they worked with me on successfully. Stay far away!!!!

William Mansfield has been our family attorney for at least 3 generations of family. He was my grandparents attorney, my parents and then mine. He has always done grade A+ representation! He has handled a variety of cases for us and we have always trusted him. He is an attorney who will tell it like it is. He is honest, highly intelligent and has integrity. The person who left the one star rating for Mansfield, more than likely does not have integrity. That person probably wanted to get off the hook for something and did not want things done with integrity. The client stated that Mansfield gave bad advice and has regretted taking his advice. Well Mansfield always does what's right! He loves to help people and he's just not in practice to get his wallet fat like the majority of attorneys do. He cannot get blamed for the final decision that client made that they now regret. That person needs to own up to their own decision they made. Attorneys are there to represent and the client is the one who makes the final decision. So if you did not like the outcome then that's your own fault! You made the final decision and now you're living with YOUR decision.
If you want a great attorney, then Mansfield is the guy for you! He has been in our family for over 60 years and we have no complaint towards Mansfield

I used Kevin for employment and harrassment issues and was extremely satisfied with how knowledgeable and personal the entire office was.
I actually left the country a few times during my case and Kevin was GREAT at tracking me down over a different method when I would be without phone or email on certain continents.
I was pleased with accuracy and fairness of billing and Communication was more than sufficient.
It's not a very aggressive firm but in no way passive or colluding and will absolutely put a firm stand to protecting your legal and civil protections afforded under US law.

My experience with this office was primarily conducted through email contact, as I live in another city. It was a different experience than any other legal counsel I have used, and for a period of time I was somewhat concerned with the progress; however when the time came to present my case, I was thoroughly prepared, and the outcome was as good as any I could have imagined. I read the two negative "reviews", and I am simply laughing. They describe someone else, not this excellent attorney who first represented me in a case in 2007 (won the case, spent a year of his time on it), and is currently representing me on another case (another auto collision, the other driver again with a cell phone in his ear). Curt has become more than simply an attorney, and closer to a trusted friend with expertise in the world of litigation. He has guided me away from mistakes; he has tolerated my incessant verbosity (wasting HIS time); he has buffered my tendency to occasionally act in an impulsive manner; he has ALWAYS looked after my best interest. I trust Curt Kinsley implicitly, and recommend him most highly.

Avoid this attorney at all costs! I made the mistake of seeking out a consult with Mr. Kinsley after an accident and was extremely disappointed with it. His attitude was very superior and it seemed like perhaps he was having a bad day because he was highly temperamental. Doug was skilled in the legal formalities, if you will. His timid court presence was Frustrating and quite ineffective during trial. I had two suits he represented me in... after the 2nd trial he disappeared. Doesn't answer his phone, or return emails. He represented a friend of mine and ghosted him as well. Frustrating to say the least because his services are still required to get my settlement finalized. I hope he hasn't passed away from covid...
