On December 29th, 2022 I went out for a jog and was hit by a car which in turn fractured my pelvis in two places and a nice gash, requiring 8 stitches on the top of my head. With no insurance I was concerned with who was going to pay my bills. Attorney Sullivan and his Legal Assistant Jade Esposito of Dallas W. Do not hire her. Melinda does not keep you updated or inform you of anything going on with your case. She would not respond to calls, emails, or texts for weeks at a time. I would end up asking my ex what certain papers were and what I needed to do.
She works at the pace that is convenient for her. It would take her months to send one letter to my ex’s attorney….but as soon as I fired her, the motion to be removed and done with me took her ONLY ONE DAY to get handled.
I’m not sure who I hated more during this process, her or my ex…it was a tie most days. Save yourself the frustration and don’t use her. Hopefully I have saved someone from going through the torture I went through. 💞

I attempted to hire Ms. Morris last month before my hearing date. Divorce was the court and Morris was there to serve. Immediately she looked over the size of my huge case and told me she’ll take it Pro Bono. I never thought anyone could handle so much at one time. Just thinking about it now gets me excited. Today I received a very favorable outcome. Ms. Morris was able to negotiate and dismiss a petition against me in support court. She knows what I need to do, while saving me thousands of dollars in litigation. She is fair and will work with you.
She doesn’t unnecessarily waste your money on emails, phone calls etc. She will jump on issues that are important and knows when to take charge.
At times, things seemed to be against me (as it’s the nature of the court system), but with patience and perseverance, I prevailed!!!!

Was in an accident and Mr Barson took my case. Was attentive and knowledgeable but he’s long winded and he charges you absurd fees for example there was a so called stationary fee (paper) Overall he does a pretty good job just very disconnected with the realistic end result of my particular case. Would’ve been more profitable on my own or having another lawyer take it.

When I initially consulted Alex Silow to explain the details of my case, he seemed like a good fit as we had a similar take on both the situation and the plan of action. Unfortunately, our relationship soured quickly.
I found him to be arrogant, rude, and self-serving. I learned to despise him even more than the lying cops and the low-life DA who cared nothing of my innocence, but only for the chance to bolster his record at my expense. They can all rot in hell and I hope they do.
Silow interrupted me, and yelled at me repeatedly in the course of phone calls that should have been a calm back and forth discourse. There was no reason for such abhorrent behavior. I have never met anyone in any profession that talks to their clients like that. This is unacceptable in any setting. And he refused to believe me even though every word I said is true, which only complicated the case.
Furthermore, it is my belief that he purposely failed to get the case dismissed in a pre-trial hearing, so that I would have to pay him another $2,500 to go to trial. If his pre-trial failure was not on purpose, then his defense was grossly incompetent.
I was charged with theft. Fortunately, there was surveillance video of the entire incident, in which I picked a single piece of scrap wood out of a trash pile and put it back exactly where I found it in under 60 seconds. In order for that to be theft, by definition, there has to be "economic loss". So, after watching the video, the judge says "what's the difference between stealing a car and returning it the next day and stealing this piece of wood and returning it?
Any decent attorney would have answered that taking a piece of wood from a demolished deck out of a scrap pile and putting it back within 60 seconds does not constitute "economic loss". Silow failed to do so. The judge held the charge over for trial and Silow put another $2,500 in his pocket, after which the DA, knowing he did not stand a chance at trail, promtly dropped the charges.
This experience was a real eye opener about just how corrupt the criminal justice system is. Cops, judges and DAs need criminals (real or fabricated) to justify their cushy salaries from the county. And the defense lawyers are all too happy to extract every dollar they can from the defendant. It's a scam, and they're all in on it.
Silow puts on a good act as if he cares, but he's about the $$$, not the client.

Note: I did not just walk up radomly to a woodpile. I had worked on this property many times for the former owner, who is a building contractor, and believed that this wood belonged to him

Jeff did a great job for me and my family, without him I'd be in a very hard situation, very kind, thoughtful, and knows the correct course to take... He would ask my opinion on a matter for the court, and I trusted him enough to just defer to him... SO, I had a case that went on for just shy of 2 and a half yrs...DUI, (multiple offenses (this was a big deal for my family and I...)) He was there every step of the way, and his approach worked! Fantastic trial attorney, he got me 2 not guilty verdicts in under 12 minutes..... This man is what the reviews say.... While Jeff made me no gaurantees that it would end in my favor, he was straight up to me, and said ..." If I did not think you have a shot, I'd tell you to take the deal....
