I hired Alex for my husband drug case. Seemed like a decent guy at first. Talked a good game. 5,000 in his hand from day one! He became the worst attorney. He was very rude and arrogant. yelled at me more than the DA. No motions was put in. We waited 6 months for notes of testimony from the preliminary hearing. Which my husband requested day one of him being hired. Gave him 6500 just for to make it seem like he got the best deal possible when he did no work. Would not recommend for a criminal attorney. He was selling my husband out to the DA the whole time in my opinion. He will take your money!

Alex was able to deliver the best possible outcome in my traffic case. Without going into details, I was facing a minimum of a six month license suspension; we were ultimately able to plea down to charges that did not result in any license suspension.
I couldn’t be any happier with the level of support and ultimate resolution I received relative to the cost of Alex’s services.
Should I require legal services in the future, Alex will be my first stop, and I would gladly recommend him to friends/family.

He represented me years ago in a divorce pfa that was being used as a tactic and not because it was valid. Lets just say Monzo didn't provide any type of argument to the judge he just went along with everything. He was more interested in talking to staff that he knew in the court than representing me. Take the money and run type of process.

Jeff did a great job for me and my family, without him I'd be in a very hard situation, very kind, thoughtful, and knows the correct course to take... He would ask my opinion on a matter for the court, and I trusted him enough to just defer to him... SO, I had a case that went on for just shy of 2 and a half yrs...DUI, (multiple offenses (this was a big deal for my family and I...)) He was there every step of the way, and his approach worked! Fantastic trial attorney, he got me 2 not guilty verdicts in under 12 minutes..... This man is what the reviews say.... While Jeff made me no gaurantees that it would end in my favor, he was straight up to me, and said ..." If I did not think you have a shot, I'd tell you to take the deal.... But I do believe there is a chance here.... How do you want to proceed?" That impressed me... As he could have promised the world and I'd probably have bought it ..... But he was honest, he did not tell me a percent of win, because he said that would be unfair to get my hopes up and the jury come back with an unfavorable verdict..... I respect Jeff's character, and his fight .... He is excellent at finding holes in the case and he does a fantastic job of creating doubt... Jeff Monzo helped me way beyond what he was paid for.... His services were worth every penny and if I EVER (hopefully not) EVER, have another legal matter..... He is whom I am calling. Thank you Jeff, from my family and my self!

I based my decision to hire Mr. Norfleet to handle my SSD application on the reviews posted. I was most attracted to the customer service part of the reviews.
From the begining of the application process to the end of the award of the appeal hearing, the entire staff was so friendly, caring, accommedating and sincere. Several times they would even meet me in the parking lot to get papers i was dropping off. It was difficult for me to walk the distance to get inside the office and all i had to do is call them and someone would come to my car to get the papers. Who does that anymore?!
Mr. Norfleet was so thorough and detailed throughout the entire 18 month appeal process. He made the process as easy as it could be during the appeal. At the appeal hearing, he was completely prepared and confident. He certainly eased my fears of the hearing. He advised me what to expect at the hearing and he was right on every count!
My case was settled very quickly (less than three weeks) which is very unsual. I attribute the quick resolution to Mr. Norfleet's thoroughness, preparedness, professionalism, and respect for the court.
I highly recommend Mr. Norfleet to anyone who needs assistance with their social security disability filing!

Terrible attorney! Don’t waste your money! She was great before we paid her and as soon as she got our money she pretty much didn’t care about my case! She acted like the da and not my attorney and in court I did most of the talking thank god or I would’ve went upstate for a dui!!! Don’t waste your money!! She’ll say all the right things and answer your calls and texts before you pay her and once you pay you’ll feel straight up abandoned! In the courtroom you can tell she’s extremely new or just plain not very good!! Beware of this lady, she’s no good! If I could give her zero stars I would!

Patrick called me and wanted to represent me in my worker’s compensation case. He said I had a great case. Most of the work wAs done by Laura, his associate. She wears very nice. The first inkling that he was lacking was that he forgot to obtain a court reporter for my deposition with the insurance company’s lawyer. Mr Hickey sent me to a “pill mill” for treatment and therapy for a rotator cuff tear. Medical care was poor and caused my pain to increase due to their failure to diagnose a compression fracture in my thoracic spine. After 6 months Mr. Hickey said we had to settle and the most he could get me was $10,000.

Josh was professional , took care of my personal injury as soon as he was hired. He showed up to my door step after attacked by a dog , made it effortless on my part, and always responded promptly. There were times , I was stressed out and probably came off upset because of the whole incident , but he never once took it personal and reminded me when things got tough that I would get justice. Paid $2500 for ONLY the preliminary hearing and she did nothing. Couldn’t even get him bond. She did not put up a fight nor did I feel she had his best interest during the case. Even worse she had no communication with us and was showing up late. I wouldn’t recommend her ever at all. We consulted with a different lawyer who said even said she didn’t do anything he shouldn’t still be in jail because it was an illegal search! He would be out if she did her job. I honestly can’t believe how bad she was. ( AND THE DEFENDANT IS STILL IN JAIL!)

Do not hire her. Melinda does not keep you updated or inform you of anything going on with your case. She would not respond to calls, emails, or texts for weeks at a time. I would end up asking my ex what certain papers were and what I needed to do.
She works at the pace that is convenient for her. It would take her months to send one letter to my ex’s attorney….but as soon as I fired her, the motion to be removed and done with me took her ONLY ONE DAY to get handled.
I’m not sure who I hated more during this process, her or my ex…it was a tie most days. Save yourself the frustration and don’t use her. Hopefully I have saved someone from going through the torture I went through. 💞
