About a year and a half ago, I was hit by a car, as a pedestrian in a crosswalk. A family member encouraged me to reach out to a personal injury attorney to get repercussions since I was not at fault. Joe is very professional, and always kept me updated. Joe was also great at covering all options that's on the table. He is definitely one of the best attorneys out there and someone I would highly recommend without hesitation. Unfortunately I've been involved in a couple of accidents recently, and Joe has done a phenomenal job both times he's represented me. Jim became involved with my case when we were forced to go to trial after attempts to settle with an unreasonable defense attorney and insurance company who I was battling. Jim did an excellent job and worked well with Amy Miller, my primary attorney who I was also very pleased with. Trial is intense and many decisions must be made quickly under pressure. It was very comforting having such a hard hitting, skilled, trial lawyer like Jim on my side when it was needed. I was very LUCKY to find her and having had a bad experience before I read her resume and was very impressed. I recommend Leah Altaras , on every social post I see on social media in regards to anything they’re going through.
Leah is an Advocate for righting wrongs, I met her as a Prosecuting Attorney, and when my life was altered in an MVA I called Her for advice, and she was willing to take on my Personal Injury case.
I was compensated by the other guys insurance the maximum amount as well as my own under insured coverage.
At about 80% recovery, after a year of Physical Therapy, I was hit again, MVA. Compounded injuries, a tough fight, but Leah has that “fight” in Her, as do I, and we recovered well, in the 2nd MVA case as well.
She also has consulted with Me over many various concerns I’ve had.

From the moment Rose answered my call in May 2018 to when we settled in the Fall of 2022 they treated us like family and made my daughter and I feel as though we could always trust them. I was injured when I was rear ended by another car. I sustained a concussion and neck trauma. Because of the concussion, I was not mentally functioning very well. GLP Attorney's was recommended by both my doctor and massage therapist. They could see that I was not functioning well. The other person's insurance company was pressuring me to fill out forms and sign them. I couldn't even think clearly to make simple decisions. So, I and my husband met with Cydney to discuss what was happening. Oh my gosh, I can't even imagine what I would have done without her help and support. I ended up getting treatment and help all the way through this ordeal. Because of Cydney's help and support, I did not have to deal with the other insurance company. She handled everything so that I could just concentrate on getting well. In the end my doctor bills and therapy bills were paid in full and I received a small settlement for all of the difficulties I went through to get well. I wrote to Lorna at the end of my 2.5-year custody battle - "Words are inadequate to express my gratefulness", and it's true. Lorna has been on my side for that long, not only as my counsel, but to me, also a friend, and a mentor.
I remember talking to a dozen attorneys who all turned down my case because of its complexity - a divorce that invovled domestic violence, dependency, immigration, and relocation - yet Lorna was the only attorney that took genuine interest in my case, and she did not even charge me for our first 2-hour consultation. She actually read through over 3000 pages of my dependency case. She always responds promptly, sometimes even after office hours, she is thorough and detailed, insightful and empathic. She remained a delightful spirit despite my ex's constant threats, harassment, and accusation directed at her.
Even though I could not continue to afford her representation toward the end of my case, and chose to represent myself in a 3-day trial, she guided me through every step to make sure I was prepared and capable. And I won, even with some extra icing on the cake I did not expect. The judge said he has not seen anyone go pro-se without an attorney and could carry out the whole trial like I did in his 14 years of experience, but I credited Lorna for her guidance. I couldn't have done it without her. She encouraged me and believed in me even when I doubted myself - unlike those lawyers on Avvo who always tell you that you are screwed if you're going to trial alone.
