I was referred to this law firm after I slipped and fell on ice outside of a restaurant and broke my elbow. From the beginning they handled everything with class and honesty.
I was unable to travel due to my injury and they handled everything digitally which alleviated a lot of pressure on me and my family.

After a rear end accident I was hounded a couple times a week from the other insurance company to settle. I said my car is in the shop and was for over 2 months and I am in so much pain and going to a chiropractor and a physical therapist weekly and until all this is fixed I will not settle. Nothing I said deterred them from continuing to hound me to settle. I felt intimidated by them and they had me worried so I knew I needed an attorney. I called Habush Habush and Rottier because they had a great reputation. I got in that week for an appointment to see if they would take my case. I was lucky enough to be greeted by Ed Vopal an attorney at the firm. He was a very mild mannered person who was very caring calming in his questioning of me about the accident and that is exactly what I needed. I left our first meeting feeling safe and secure knowing I was going taken care of.
Ed worked very hard on my case and had a huge binder of paperwork involving the accident. He was wonderful on his preparing me for a deposition with the attorneys from the other insurance company and kept me calm in my answers. I could go on and on about Ed but all his office staff was just as wonder always so warm and friendly in their calls to me or when I was in the office. They are a great team. I was terrified by the serious felony charge I was being accused of. I immediately started searching for a qualified attorney in Eau Claire and hired Jessie Weber. The first time I met with Jessie, she was very easy to talk to about every detail in my case even though some details were embarrassing. My accident resulted in injuries including multiple rib fractures and a totaled car. We tried for over a year to work with the at-fault driver’s insurance co thinking we didn’t want to involve attorneys. There was so much back and forth, and the insurance co wouldn’t even make themselves available before 8:30 or after 4:30 because it wasn’t convenient for them. They assigned different reps ranging from ‘Claims Generalist Associate’, ‘Claims General Int (does this mean intern?)’, etc. So frustrating! Then they gave me a lowball offer saying they wouldn’t go higher. I asked close friends for the name of the attorney who had successfully handled their case decades ago – Attorney Fehring.
From the first contact with Attorney Fehring and his paralegal Shannon, they handled my case respectfully and professionally; advising what they thought and outlining options. In the end, they were able to secure far more than we were while they handled all the interactions.

Laurence Fehring has my unequivocal and enthusiastic recommendation. I have a difficult time envisioning an individual who chooses Mr. Fehring and comes to second-guess the decision.
My knowledge of the Milwaukee legal community runs broad and deep. A car accident at the end of calendar year 2012 -- caused by the negligence of another driver -- left me with injuries, bouncing around from physician to physician and from one physical therapy session to another. Mr. Fehring's name found its way to my "short list" of lawyers for a potential representation.
After one preliminary consultation I knew he was the lawyer I wanted. In our initial meeting he manifested kindness, authenticity, amiability, strong listening skills, and more than a measure of wisdom. As time unfolded he proved to be especially -- in some circumstances nearly instantaneously -- responsive to all inquiries I posed via email. No less important, the team of assistants with which he works consistently struck me as every bit as diligent, skilled, and caring as Mr. Fehring, bespeaking (I am speculating here; but I'm comfortable doing so) the talent he and his partners have for training others.
My claim against the insurer of the negligent driver settled out prior to any complaint being filed -- as Mr. Fehring had indicated in our initial meeting is the case with more than 85% of the representations he undertakes. I was pleased it did -- even though, at times, my anger at the negligent driver engendered in me the desire to tell my story on the witness stand.
To repeat, to my mind Laurence Fehring is both an outstanding lawyer and a terrific person. Having the two rolled into one makes for a can't miss choice.

I don't even know where to start as I want my review to be completely from the heart...when I was in a car accident from another driver hitting me it turned my world upside down. I quickly made the accident of hiring another attorney I had used for something else and found myself lost in answers..I read through reviews and called Kevin Martins office where he was quite aware he would still have to split the money I receive with another attorney and YET even though this isn't the biggest case ever him and his assistant have been extremely thorough, I can always get a hold of someone, they make me feel cared for when I have felt the world is ending, and most of all I never feel like I am "a pain" when I call or email frequently. PLEASE HIRE THIS LAWYER if you want and need to be taken care of!

Ronnie helped me through a HUGE criminal charge. Ronnie was able to turn what was originally a Class C Felony, into a small Misdimenor. I couldn't be more satisfied, he EXCEEDED expectations. Hired at 325$ an hour with expectations he'd be motivated, diligent, and accurate was not what I received. He had to be reminded constantly that I was waiting patiently for action. Which I got charged for. He waited so long to act he lost track of details. When asked why he didn't submit documents, he didn't feel it was necessary. He consumed money by making mistakes, I had to correct, then charged me. Failed to gather ALL information given to him so he had to correct and reserve 4 ppl and amended court documents costing me more money. Overall, I wasn't impressed. He was fired, showed up to court anyway then charged me. He must be hard up for $$$. That he has to take money from a single woman that has a limited income to fatten his wallet. This is my perception of my 10month encounter with Steve and $7,000+ dollars later. It took Steve over 9 months to get a court date. Documents only require 20 days to respond. Thats a lot of wasted time. Steve was hire in Feb. I was expect to have the house on the market in the spring. His lackadaisical approach is frustrating. Emails were written and a special meeting was made to get my point across.
Steve didn't need my signature to withdraw from my case. Him showing up for court was an obligation to the court system not me, as he no longer was my employee. He charged me for drive time and the time he waited to tell the judge he was terminated. He's not a stand-up guy in my book.
My advice, go somewhere else.

Atty Koch walked me through every step of my high conflict child custody case. My case was very contentious. He managed my expectations at the first meeting and told me what the most likely custody that I would be awarded. He never sugar coated anything.
He was prompt at returning phone calls and emails.
This was a rough/stressful time in my life and I was confident I would get the results we talked about.
Upon meeting Atty Koch, he made a statement to me that had helped me through the months of the court process “the wheels of justice grind slowly”.... meaning everybody wants court to be done yesterday- including myself.... but that isn’t the case.
Be patient.
If I ever need a lawyer again I already know who I’m calling.

My situation was a slip and fall at the apartment complex I lived in. At first the company whom ran the apartment complex refused to do anything. So, I went to renters’ right’s and they would not take a slip and fall case. I was actually told the answer was to move. This took me back for a moment, but did not stop me. I did some more research and found the place I needed to write my concern was the “Department of Agriculture”.
After the letter the company then emailed me to have the bills sent to the insurance company. By this time approximately a year and a half passed since the slip and fall and the bill was still not being taken care of.
I knew renter’s rights was not going to help and trying to find a lawyer who would take my case was very slim. I called many lawyers and was turned away because of how much time had passed and a slip and fall is difficult to prove in Wisconsin.
I must say I was very discouraged and felt hopeless. Being I felt a wrong needed to be addressed, I kept looking for a lawyer.
So, by chance I called “Bye|Goff|Rohde” and after talking to Brian about my slip and fall. He took my case A Year and a half later. In the end it was a victory!
Afterwards I asked Brian why he took my case. His said it was because of what I said.
Bye the way, the slip and fall happened in 2018 and the settlement happened in 2022.

Brian is an excellent lawyer. Even the judge at the end of the trial told the jury they had “witnessed very good lawyering.” Brian presents with maturity and surety that seem to far exceed his years. I really respect the way he used his talent and coupled it with a competitive nature to get results and yet at the same time always showed genuine concern, consideration of my opinions, and patience with me during the entire process. Going to trial is nobody’s desire, but when I took the stand, Brian made it very easy for me to say the truth.
