(LONG POST, BUT WELL WORTH YOUR TIME)
Jami was recommended to me by my Mother's estate attorney. I'd just traveled back to Des Moines for a class reunion, and received files from my ex-husband's business partner (who lived near us in Scottsdale part time.) These files not only proved he'd been embezzling from the company, but had also been using that money on "seeking arrangements dot com" to be a "Shuger Daddy" to many women around the country (at this point in our marriage, I didn't even like him much, but he knew because of my religion the ONLY way I'd ever divorce him would be infidelity--which I NEVER thought he'd commit...)
So, after seeing the file (AKA: my get out of jail free card) and getting Jami's info, I called her from Iowa. I told her that what I was about to say was going to sound crazy, but it was probably only the tip of the iceberg. I'm not sure if she believed everything I was telling her, but as we both found out over the course over the next nearly 2 & a 1/2 years, I was right -- it was not only the tip of the iceberg, it wasn't even 5% of it.
The divorce itself went very smoothly and quickly. However, to "punish me" for not getting back together with him after the divorce (I'd lied and said I HAD to divorce him to save face with my family--even though at this point he made my skin crawl), he decided to "get revenge" by fighting me for custody of our 4 children.
While this probably would have been a "no brainer" for anyone else, my issue was with my oldest daughter; her birth-mother (my ex's 3rd wife) passed away shortly after my daughter's birth. And even though I'd raised her since before her 2nd birthday, I couldn't adopt her because the ONE thing I needed to complete the process, but didn't have, was my ex's tax returns (he'd never filed them for around 20 years.) This left me with absolutely NO way to adopt her, and absolutely NO legal rights to her whatsoever.
Thus, a very LONG, ugly, and disgusting battle ensued (I've been diagnosed with PTSD), with the crescendo being a 2 & a 1/2 day trial. But by the end of that trial, I still have the VERY distinct impression that the judge could not STAND my ex. I could never gauge how he felt about me, but, man, he REALLY seemed to see what a scum my ex was!
Regardless, the judge ended up granting me soul custody of all 4 of my kids, the OLDEST included (my ex was granted paid visitation every other weekend -- which, of course, he never took.)
Granting me soul custody of my oldest was ABSOLUTELY unprecedented, and I don't think entirely legal in AZ, yet Jami made that happen. Granted, Judge Ryan also played a HUGE role in it all, but Jami was the person who methodically painted the pictures, both big and small, and put every piece of the puzzle into place for the judge.
To say that Jami is an amazing lawyer doesn't even come close to describe her skill, talent, and expertise. However, there honestly aren't ANY words other than AMAZING that come close.
I genuinely do not think a client could find a better lawyer than Jami Wilenchic. ANYWHERE.

I hired Jami Wilenchik for my complex child custody case and she was amazing! Jami was hired after I had started the process and before my trial and she caught up on everything and got me the outcome I wanted. Jami was very honest and to this day I still ask her questions as they come up. I would strongly recommend her if you want a winner in your corner.

Mary is a wonderful family attorney in Yuma, Arizona. I would definitely recommend her for anyone going thru a divorce or in need of legal services involving family matters. The original judge we had in my case was extremely biased and ruled against me. But with Mary's help, we appealed my case, won the appeal, and ended up with an extremely favorable decision in the end.
Divorce and child custody are extremely difficult things to deal with for anyone, but I'm certain I would not have made it thru this process the way I did if not for Mary's help. She's extremely professional, ethical, and knows the law very well. I'm extremely thankful for all that she has done for me and my daughter!

Natalie made the best out of a bad situation. Divorce sometimes comes out of nowhere, and when children are involved the emotional toll that takes can be paralyzing. Natalie and her paralegal Diana did an amazing job walking me through the process with great communication and advise. Many times she had to ground me in the facts even when the outcome seemed to be unfair. Her knowledge of the law and the process made things turn out the best I could hope for. I had heard so many horror stories about attorneys in the past that when I found myself in the position of having to find a family law attorney I was consumed with panic and concern about finding the best firm to take on my case. After researching multiple firms of the area I came across Gary Frank P.C. and I decided to call. I was surprised when Gary himself answered the phone, it wasn’t a receptionist or a machine, and in that moment I knew that this was the type of firm I needed to help me navigate through this difficult time. I was in a long term abusive marriage and had had enough and was ready to put an end to it. while being "ready" i was scared to death as i was someone with low self esteem and so afraid of how my Ex would respond. Gary gave me courage to stand up for me and helped me work thru my insecurities so that i was able to testify in court and breath. Liz worked on my child support and parenting time modification and helped me pursue back child support. This case took almost a year and was very complex. Liz worked every angle in order to argue the case for back support which usually is not given. She is amazingly smart and energetic. Liz and her team handled my divorce from day one. She was up front and honest right from my first consultation as to what to expect throughout the process. She was aggressive in working with my ex-husband and forced his hand to get an attorney when he started to play games with us. She worked to get me the settlement my son and I deserved. Unfortunately we ended up in court but she was able to negotiate in the last minutes before meeting with the judge to get the settlement. The way she presented our settlement to the judge showed her knowledge of the case. While my ex-husband's attorney fumbled to even get our names correct. I was already divorced, but wanted to move out of state to Texas with my 4 year old son. Mike made it possible. He is a bulldog on a case, he was totally willing to go all the way and nothing slipped by him, he made my move happen. My ex husband filed an emergency temporary order the day before I was set to leave Arizona. We had 3 or 4 court appearances both in person and over the phone and every time Mike made sure we came out of it ahead. My ex kept completely ignoring court orders, so we would refile with more changes to the agreement and win. He is absolutely wonderful to work with, in fact I found this website looking for his contact information since a friend of mine needs a divorce attorney. I have recommended him twice before to other friends / family.

She made the process of divorce so easy. Due to the nature of the case(Domestic violence and children involved) her experience really reassured me. I appreciated that she was always just an email away and if I needed to schedule some time to actually talk over the phone about something she was usually able to get me in fairly quickly. She didn't use legal jargon, instead she made sure to explain the process in a way I was able to understand. I would not have been able to go through this process alone and Esther was the best choice in representation. I have been working with Family Law Attorney, Tali Collins, for 2 years, and she is by far the best attorney that I have worked with for ongoing family law litigation. She is very approachable, knows her legal material, is detail- orientated, has an amazing memory, knows lots of helpful resources and her fees are very reasonable.
I have worked with many attorneys who have similar skills, but want you to hire them and are not great with working with the client that wants to self represent. Because I don't have the financial resources for a retainer, Ms. Collins has worked with me in preparing legal documents, preparing for hearings, and organizing and finding exhibits. She knows what individual judges want, so I feel like I am ahead of the game and know what to expect and how to prepare when I go to the hearing.
Recently, Tali Collins helped me prepare for my latest Parenting Time Modification Hearing and I feel more prepared than I did when I hired an attorney to represent me at the last one, and it saved me thousands of dollars. Ms. Collins knows all aspects of family law and I don't think I could have worked with anyone who could prepare me as much as she has.
I am so grateful that I found Ms. Collins, she has been an immense resource for me and has been so "spot on" with helping me in past hearings and litigation. This has been a great fit for me, and I even look forward to meeting with her. Ms. Collins is so motivating, knowledgeable and understanding, that when I walk away from meetings with her, I feel supported, empowered, recharged and ready to tackle my legal battles.

I cannot describe how grateful I am that I found Lynda! Facing a truly daunting court case, I knew I needed a truly competent attorney. I interviewed several attorneys in the Phoenix area, and after only a few minutes I knew Lynda Vescio was the representation I needed. Due to Lynda's ability, the legal case was settled months ahead of what I was told to expect by the other attorneys, and in my favor! Not only that, but she traveled to meet us for the original consult, unlike the others, and in the end the fees for the entire case ended up being very nearly what she predicted. Zarina is by far the best she helped me with my custody and child support case. I was recommended to Zarina by a co-worker who used her on her case. My ex-wife had been fighting me for years to get full custody of our child and wanting more child support. Zarina fought for me to maintain our joint custody order and was even able to get me more vacation time and lower my current child support as my ex-wife had been hiding and lying about her income. I retained Mr. David Yuhas in August of 2013 in regards to a modification of parenting time. There were many proceedings that followed, Discovery and Disclosure, Mental Health Evaluations, counseling record review, drug testing orders, and two Hearing dates. Mr. Yuhas new exactly what to do at exactly the right time. Files where always presented to me for my review and filed properly and promptly. In the court room, his litigation was precise and professional, and a bit intimidating due to his knowledge base. The end result was Full Sole, Legal and Physical Custody of my son.
