I hired Mr. Jarrod Wilfert for a DUI with injury case. This case was over two years old and even though I originally was told, I passed the sobriety test and did not get a DUI for some reason they decided to bring it back. Keep in mind, I had made several complaints about the police department, ignoring restraining order and allowing me to be abused. I had all the evidence to show not only was I assaulted that same month which is why I tested positive for a medication. They didn’t decide to bring the charge back because I got an evading police charge because I have PTSD Which had already been communicated with the police department many times. I did not evade the police. I let the car roll forward while having a panic attack. I tried to make that case for the police Evasion case Which should’ve been allowed because I really did have a mental health diagnose That I had been treated for four I had proof that I dealt with Negligence from the police and I put in reports. Nobody cared they wouldn’t let me make those arguments and they let me get a conviction which made them review the dui Decide to charge me. I had proof that I was assaulted that same month that I put in a complaint to the police department because the police who responded was friends with my ex who was my abuser. I also had proof that my car was rear-ended just a couple weeks before, and I took it into a mechanic who said that if it continued to Have break problems To bring it in, I had text messages with the owner of the car telling him that I thought I needed to bring it back in. I was on my way to the mechanic when the accident happened. I passed a sobriety test, and my roommate was with me when I passed it But for some reason, two years later during court They changed it And it said I did not pass. These were all viable arguments I could’ve brought in front of a jury But was advised not to because Mr. Wilfert told me he believed I could get it reduced to a misdemeanor, And from what I understand that would’ve this dismissed The whole case. While going through all this, I had to watch my abusive ex get hate crime And then get them dismiss due to mental health problems. Which he only saw because he was court ordered too, But as a woman who deals with a real medical condition and pays out-of-pocket for my my treatments Wasn’t the same treatment within my own community because apparently I’m a bad woman who needs to take a accountability. Besides all this There was several mistakes made with my case. For some reason, the police were very eager to have me go into the jails, So I was requesting house arrest, especially because of Covid. Mr. Wilford receptionist told me she was sending in the paperwork, right away. But after contacting the sheriffs department, I found out the paperwork was never turned in, I had to fill out the paperwork myself And turn it in last minute. If I didn’t persistently I would’ve had to go into the jails at one of the most dangerous times during Covid. Months later, I had texted Mr. Wilford because he told me to text him anytime, I texted him four times in one month Because the judge told me if I did everything within months, He would reduce the charge to a misdemeanor And get me off probation. So I was excited and I was texting him trying to get information on meeting up to discuss this. He never responded and you see me get concerned as if I thought something happened to him. For our case, dealing with the juvenile court, Mr. Wilfert seemed very unprepared. We would basically get information the day that we were in front of the judge, and the DA pretty much ran the show.
It is a misrepresentation that Mr. Wilfert states that he will fight for you, and is knowledgeable because he used to be police officer and a DA himself, because he lets the court decide and have control of your case, thus your destiny.
I had to start calling Mr. Wilfert's office and demand that he would communicate and tells anything about our case.
If your case is serious and you are looking for an attorney that is going to fight for you, and present a good defense, communicate with you about your case, do yourself a favor, and do not hire Wilfert Law.

Sanaz has a good team and thorough system to ensure your bankruptcy gets finalized.
I am self employed, my case was more in depth.
I interviewed several attorneys in San Diego and LA area and they were suggesting Chapter 13 and avoiding chapter 7 because of my equity in my home, they said I was limited on exemptions ie and my vehicle and personal property were at risk!
Sanaz is very creative with creating and interpreting exemptions that the other attorneys NEVER mentioned and or understood, interpreting exemptions is very important, ie “Commercial Work Vehicle” (Truck) verses “vehicle”, that changed the game, the trustee wanted more money for my work truck and was also trying me on personal property and Sanaz put them in check!
She got my Chapter 7 discharged, I kept my condo equity, I owed nothing for my commercial work truck and personal items.
The other attorneys I interviewed were ok with having me agree to make an uncomfortable stressful payment plan to make it easy for them to file chapter 13….
Sanaz and her team tolerated all my calls and emails = STRESS and got me through it.

Divorce is tough and there are so many attorneys out there that it makes picking one challenging. Found this law firm from several friends who have used them and they were all very happy with their work. I really appreciated their communication throughout the process and their ability to get back to you quickly when you have questions. Not every firm is like that. Billing was straight forward and they did a great job being financial responsible with my case. Professional and knowledgeable, I would have no problem hiring again or recommending to family and friends.

Finding Joni was a God send! Literally!! I heard her commercial on the radio and wrote her phone number down. A year later, when I decided I needed a lawyer, I couldn’t find her number so I prayed about it. The next day I got in my car driving home from work and her commercial came on the radio! I pulled over in my car and immediately called her and was able to speak with her. I made my appointment and met this wonderful, intelligent, compassionate woman who understood what I was going through, and what I needed to do. Do not look anywhere else. Eric is amazing. Quick, sharp, and charismatic. I've been through 1 divorce working with 2 different lawyers. Through my divorce process, I've witnessed Eric, my previous attorney, opposing's 2 attorneys, and dozens of other family law lawyers while sitting in the court room waiting for my trial to be heard. I started with another lawyer, but wish I went with Eric the first time around. Out of all of the other attorneys I've witnessed, Eric is, hands-down, the most capable I've seen.... Like a TV lawyer! Everyone seems to respect him including the judge, minors' counsel, and even opposing counsel. His rates are comparable to bigger firms, but you'll likely pay less due to his efficiency. I recently engaged the services of Mr. MARCUS for my child’s case and, unfortunately, my experience did not meet the expectations set by other reviews. While I appreciate Mr. MARCUS's expertise in the field, I felt that the representation provided was not aligned with my child’s best interests, which was concerning and disappointing. It seemed there was a bias that did not favor a fair outlook for my child's situation.

Divorce is definitely a lot of low and high, and quite a roller coaster, especially when your ex wife is just a source of constant problems.
I am glad I decided to hire Bernie as my lawyer: Bernie kept me on track and gave me a lot of advices, and explanations to understand the complex process and timelines.
Divorce can be extremely frustrating especially with timeline moving really slowly and your lawyer have no control of it, but Bernie was always available to reply to my email when needed.
Every court appearances with Bernie went really well, and it was good to see we were both in agreement and didn't need to discuss for a long time while my ex wife and her lawyer were so unprepared. Bernie made sure that we had the time to discuss everything before going to Court so we will be prepared.
My divorce has been now finalized, and still need to go through various administrative paperworks: despite the fact that I was hoping for a slightly better outcome, when I step back and look at the agreement Bernie helped negotiate, I am really pleased. I was told that a good agreement doesn't please anyone and this is the case, but really with what's happening for me post divorce, the agreement we ended negotiating is quite good for me.
Not only Bernie has been a great lawyer but I want to say that Debbie his paralegal assistant has been truly awesome all along. It's good to work with a solid team when going through such difficult time. So thank you Debbie for all your hard work too.

Steve took on my complex custody case (UCCJEA, special needs, split custody) December of 2018. Where previous attorneys had only shown me large bills, and larger losses, Steve helped calm me down, and plotted a better way forward.
He expertly navigated change of jurisdiction from Washington to California, responded succinctly to multiple ex parte motions, and eventually won the case for my family. All executed flawlessly despite less than ideal circumstances (e.g. being forced to argue in front of three different judges ... in one month). I ended up in a better situation than I expected, with minimal effort or outlay of cash.
Oh, and he talked me out of spending another $5K (with him) on what - in retrospect - would have been an 'overkill' motion. A lesser attorney would have taken my money and ran with it, despite an outcome that would have had little to no positive effect on my family.
Hire this guy, and don't look back.
