David is very knowledgeable and nice. We had a customer who had conflicts with the available closing dates, and the only date that they are free to sign the closing document was on a Saturday. I felt very rude to try to ask David if he could accommodate, because I am afraid none of the escrow officer would like to work on their weekend, but David did. He is actually the one who values the customer service like me and will be willing to do everything to close the deal and make the deal done. My customers also gave me feedbacks that he was very nice and gave clear instructions to them for them to prepare for a smooth, easy, and punctual closing. Highly recommend!

There isn't an angle they won't think about to get you the results you are looking for.
I had the pleasure of being represented by Walter Schouten. Ironically, he was referred to me by an attorney that I consulted with. I was told to call Walter because he is very knowledgeable and he's an outstanding trial lawyer. Walter took on my case and he was assisted by an amazing paralegal in Vanessa Enciso. This dynamic duo believed that they could help my situation in securing me a new trial for a custody case. They went to work immediately. This was 2 weeks after I lost at trial while being represented by a different firm.
Long story long...Walter was able to get me a new trial, and he was able to get the judge to change her previous ruling. I am now the custodial parent of my 7 year old son.
I have to admit that even if I wasn't awarded custodial rights, I was more than satisfied with the representation and would have been able to live with the ruling a lot easier. Knowing that I was being properly represented was huge for me. Especially since the previous firm I hired for this case was absolutely terrible.

A friend of mine recommended Hal after my friend went through a tough divorce with joint custody. I expected a difficult joint custody battle and wanted a lawyer who was willing to fight. Hal was always very knowledgeable, direct, professional, and polite. He politely but directly let me know exactly why some of the things I wanted were inconsistent with Texas law. He also set expectations of mediation and if we had to go to court. Hal's ability to read people is even greater than his knowledge of the law. He was up front and honest about billing and everything went as we initially discussed. Hal and his team were very fair and accurate with the billing. When I contacted them they always answered my questions directly and did not keep me on the phone longer than I was willing to talk and they never contacted me unless it was necessary. When I asked Hal about opposing counsel he answered me honestly of their abilities, helping to set expectations. Due to Hal's advice, ability to read and accommodate me, the outcome was favorable to myself and child. I will use him in the future, if necessary.

This review is a long time coming. I've worked with and relied on Shannon on three separate occasions over custody disputes of my eldest daughter. On all three occasions she was able to improve my situation and on two of those occasions where my situation was improved, I was on defense where I was the one that got served papers.
I believe that Shannon's prowess as an attorney actually comes from her compassion for her clients. She really does take the time to listen to and understand the unique situations that each case brings and understand and empathize with the situation. She gives her best because she knows what is on the line. She cares for her clients because she takes the time to understand them and their situation.

We had our child via surrogate; however, during the height of covid the number of guests in the hospital was limited. Our gestational carrier agreement was in another state and our child was birth in TX. The hospital couldn't do anything to help us and the birth mother was listed as the mother on the birth certificate. To have this change to my name was a challenge. Shannon fought tooth and nail with the judge. She didn't give up on us. She listened and even asked her colleagues for best approach. She looked for all solutions till we won. I was referered to Ms.Rowland by a another attorney who felt that she was a better fit for my case. My case started out as a CPS case with a protection order later added. Ms.Rowland on our 1st court date won and my custody order remained unchanged. Then instead of having to attend court the next day over a protective order she was able to get that withdrew and held mediation instead which resulted only in minimal changes. Ms.Rowland was always very upfront with me and always gave me the choices of very best outcome or the worst outcome. She was always a phone call away no matter the day or time. As a mother also she would sit and let me cry and just listen she truly understands and is truly all in with her clients. Her fees are reasonable and she explains that fully in your consultation. Reached out to Mr. Longino for assistance for a very, very difficult child support case between two states. After two TX, and two California attorney's, and no end in sight because of the difficulty of my case, Mr. Longino was very knowledgeable in this area and was able to assist and get us closer to the finish line that we had never been in 4 years. As frustrated as I have been going from court in CA, TX, and back to CA, I am now better prepared to fight this battle with the help from Mr. Longino.

I hired Ms Proffitt in the middle of this pandemic. She explained to me that the courts were operating under very different rules and timeframes, but that she would do everything in her power to help my children and me through an abusive and financially draining situation. Her and her staff were always responsive. I followed their direction to send messages through their office portal (MyCase) and I never had difficulties gets answers. I have read some of the negative reviews and this was simply not my experience. Her entire staff is helpful beyond measure. Ms Proffitt has compassion for her clients. She truly loves her job. Additionally, she was very generous with her time. I know she could have charged me much more than she did. I highly recommend this attorney.

Interestingly enough I met atty Daniel Grey on an off chance. He was at mediation that I was not a party to, and I was in the building for other reasons. As we crossed paths and began speaking he gave me his business card and said something to the effect of “you never know when you may need my services”. As I walked away I thought ‘how did he know’. Long story short within 6months I needed his services. That was about 13 years ago. He not only was a great attorney but he advocated for all sides which is not like many family law attorneys. He helped me see things from my child’s perspective and my spouse at the time. In doing so it made the divorcing with children much more smoother for all parties involved. Over the years I have referred over a dozen of friends & colleagues to him during their time of need and he has always shown great detail and concern to them in the same manner he showed to me. I am only writing this review now because I recently referred someone to him. Though he could not represent the guy due to the county he lived in he still took the time to call him after work hours and be a calming voice and help him him understand the process, ease his mind and refer him to two other lawyers that specialized in that county. I am blown away by this. No charge and he gained nothing other than respect and this review. So many other lawyers won’t even talk to paying clients during the day and a night call is not a thing. I had the pleasure of being represented by Walter Schouten. Ironically, he was referred to me by an attorney that I consulted with. I was told to call Walter because he is very knowledgeable and he's an outstanding trial lawyer. Walter took on my case and he was assisted by an amazing paralegal in Vanessa Enciso. This dynamic duo believed that they could help my situation in securing me a new trial for a custody case. They went to work immediately. This was 2 weeks after I lost at trial while being represented by a different firm.
Long story long...Walter was able to get me a new trial, and he was able to get the judge to change her previous ruling. I am now the custodial parent of my 7 year old son.
I have to admit that even if I wasn't awarded custodial rights, I was more than satisfied with the representation and would have been able to live with the ruling a lot easier.
