On April 25th 2009 while working as a public school teacher I suffered a massive double stroke. After getting out of the hospital I tried to go back to work and was told I was too sick to remain with the Fort Worth Independent School District and was terminated on April 15th 2010. While talking about my situation with my family doctor she told me I should immediately file for disability. While looking for legal representation from a law firm experienced with Social Security disability I came across the Law Office of Gerard Lynch Social Security Disability Lawyer. When I called the law office I had a very helpful and reassuring three and a half hour conversation with Gerard Lynch. He called Social Security and verified that I met all the criterion for filing for disability.
Gerard told me I was within weeks of qualifying but still met the requirements. He told me that it would probably take 18 to 24 months of hearings to receive disability. Gerard told me to be patient but he was certain in the end that I would win. On November 2nd 2012, nineteen months after filing I received a fully favorable decision from Social Security. Everything worked out just a Gerard assured me it would.

Mr. Schmitz is a fantastic attorney. I contacted his office to handle my high conflict case after hiring four other attorneys. My case was very messed up, and it was highly stressful. I was delighted with the results I got in the trial. Mr. Schmitz is very knowledgeable about family law. He taught me a lot as well; I will be graduating next week in paralegal studies. Debra and her staff were knowledgeable friendly and compassionate. I really appreciate the time they took with me as I went through this difficult time in my life. At my first visit, Debra looked at the petition and advised that the demands were excessive especially when she and I knew there was adultery involved. My ex and I agreed to the terms in the final decree. Then she and her attorney attempted to make multiple changes one week before the hearing. With Debra's help we were able to identify these changes were not required by any legal statue and I was within my rights to be fair and reasonable. I had originally planned to go Pro-Se. I am so glad I found Debra and her firm. They saved me not just from financial ruin but a lot of heart ache.

Worse lawyer ever!! She is the most hands off attorney I ever met.our initial consultation was great she made me feel comfortable. Once I paid the retainer fee everything changed !! I learned during my mediation by the mediator that I had trial in less than a month! Why didn’t she prep me or tell me? We never prepped anything she never asked for evidence. The day after she dropped me as a client . She only collected money from me and left me. I got a new lawyer 2 weeks later and what took her 6 months , took my new attorney 2 months to accomplish. She is rude, she doesn’t answer calls or emails and gives you Attitude when you finally reach her. Needless to say I won with my new attorney so the best thing I got out of it was finding my new attorney who won the case.

I am an attorney and cpa. I have a real estate dispute with another attorney about the meaning of various contractual provisions related to a disputed transaction. I found a case which I believed indicated my client had treated the transaction properly. Opposing counsel believed the case said just the opposite. I engaged Jeff to give his expert opinion on the case. Not only did Jeff agree with my position and explain why, but he also found other grounds and cases which supported my argument that the client had treated the transaction properly. After years of domestic abuse and reading an article Nancy posted about helping her clients that have been victims, I figured I’d be in good hands. Boy, was I wrong!!! My divorce should’ve been a very simple process. My ex-husband had been arrested three times, we had no shared property/assets and just needed to set up the custody arrangement for our child. Nancy prolonged this already difficult experience by more than a year! She over charged me for almost every thing you could possibly imagine! Overall, I ended up paying over $80,000 out of pocket to her in attorney fees that she would just make up out of no where!!!! My situation/divorce should’ve cost no more than a very maximum of $10,000.
Nancy took advantage of me while I was extremely vulnerable after experiencing some of the most severe trauma in my life. I wouldn’t even recommend this woman to my worst enemy.

My case was personally challenged with background complexity from a Hague Case child abduction that battle in my origin country that was battled for years. Hired this person on a referral from James Hedelston. Biggest mistake of my life.
This attorney never spoke to the police officer witness who was previously subpoenad and waiting outside court room. The officer Arrested my ex for a Dwi while the children were in the vehicle . This attorney also never spoke to the person he was run over by my ex while with the children in the vehicle . That person was waiting outside courtroom also on November 2018.
This attorney told me that I had to take a settlement of supervise visitation and give my children to the person who has physically emotionally ,financially, and medically abused us For last several years even after my ex was just arrested a few weeks before for domestic assault. .
Immediately after saying I should agree she dropped me because I had little money. The very next day 2018 on Facebook she posted how she was looking to give free legal counsel to a family in need. She was stating how she wanted to give back to the community.

Divorce is a very scary time, and while I was interviewing lawyers to represent me, I immediately felt at ease with Joel. My wife and I were blind-sided when my former spouse let us know of her relocation plans with only 30 days notice. She ruined me and my kids life's. She's so unprofessional. Has no idea what she is doing and is a complete train wreck. Dealing with her was a nightmare and I of course lost my kids. She seemed to be intoxicated at my court hearings. She could barely talk or stand and kept burping. Please research her name before hiring this lady. Worst mistake of my life.

I live in California. I have law suits in Houston and although i have never retained Candice that has recently become a thing of the past. I have nothing but disdain for attorneys as a general class but there are a few exception. Candice Lee Leonard is one of of the latter. I have consulted with Candace for six years and without her help... OMG! I have retained Candice to close this nightmare. While she may not be the best litigator i have ever met, quite frankly, I have enough experience with her and confidence in her to actually turn my back without worry.

Candice went beyond the call of duty in representing me in a civil matter which involved a matter that our government and especially the Courts dismiss because it is complicated, personal, and is easier to dismiss than confront the issue.
