This review is a long time coming. I've worked with and relied on Shannon on three separate occasions over custody disputes of my eldest daughter. On all three occasions she was able to improve my situation and on two of those occasions where my situation was improved, I was on defense where I was the one that got served papers.
I believe that Shannon's prowess as an attorney actually comes from her compassion for her clients. She really does take the time to listen to and understand the unique situations that each case brings and understand and empathize with the situation. She gives her best because she knows what is on the line. She cares for her clients because she takes the time to understand them and their situation.
I owe Shannon a debt that I can never repay, because I owe her my relationship with my daughter.

We had our child via surrogate; however, during the height of covid the number of guests in the hospital was limited. Our gestational carrier agreement was in another state and our child was birth in TX. The hospital couldn't do anything to help us and the birth mother was listed as the mother on the birth certificate. To have this change to my name was a challenge. Shannon fought tooth and nail with the judge. She didn't give up on us. She listened and even asked her colleagues for best approach. She looked for all solutions till we won. I would 100% recommend her firm with no questions asked.

He prepared me for every step of the process and made sure he knew what my goals were and what was most important to me. He was very available and there were many problems that I encountered after office hours that he was able to counsel me through in a timely manner. After going through a year of divorce negotiations, including 3 unsuccessful mediations, Hal was a GODSEND. Within 48 hours of retaining Hal, my divorce was settled. I cannot say enough good things about Hal. He has an extensive knowledge of Family Law, and he was able to apply that knowledge to thespecifics of my complicated case. In an effort to save me money, Hal was able to review all of the details of my case in a very reasonable amount of time, and give me a thorough, but understandable (!), explanation of how the law applies to my specific case. When I asked him for his opinion on how to proceed at various crossroads, he would give me his honest answer and good reasons to support his answer, and still respect whatever choice I made. He is incredibly easy to contact by phone, text, or email with his almost immediate response times. I have never worked with a lawyer like Hal before. A friend of mine recommended Hal after my friend went through a tough divorce with joint custody. I expected a difficult joint custody battle and wanted a lawyer who was willing to fight. Hal was always very knowledgeable, direct, professional, and polite. He politely but directly let me know exactly why some of the things I wanted were inconsistent with Texas law. He also set expectations of mediation and if we had to go to court. Hal's ability to read people is even greater than his knowledge of the law. He was up front and honest about billing and everything went as we initially discussed. Hal and his team were very fair and accurate with the billing. When I contacted them they always answered my questions directly and did not keep me on the phone longer than I was willing to talk and they never contacted me unless it was necessary. When I asked Hal about opposing counsel he answered me honestly of their abilities, helping to set expectations. Due to Hal's advice, ability to read and accommodate me, the outcome was favorable to myself and child. I will use him in the future, if necessary.

I came to Stephanie after I lost an emergency hearing that should have never happened! I was in a really bad place and was hopeless! I went to a big law firm, but the attorney I had it was his first case. He fought hard for me, but he wasn't experienced enough to know how to handle someone who manipulates the court system or the attorney my ex hired who played dirty! After a long almost three year battle with many twists and turns and CPS involvement, Stephanie gained control over the mess I was in! Reached out to Mr. Longino for assistance for a very, very difficult child support case between two states.
