I reached out too Attorney Angel Murphy’s office for a DUI. Her office made it easy for me too get threw the struggle of getting my life back on track. Their communication threw every step of the process made me feel confident they were working diligently on the case and not missing any detail that could be helpful in getting my case dismissed. I would give this Firm 0 star if I could. Clients who come through LegalShield.com don't receive much attention and are treated like second-class citizens, or maybe even fifth-class, perhaps because they don't bring in money. Male ATY's tend to be a bit more friendly and show more respect and empathy. However, female ATY's have a rude, condescending attitude, which is even more pronounced when the client is also female. Apparently, they feel superior when they hear the problems presented to them, adopting an attitude like: "You're done, your problem is unsolvable, and you'll have to accept it and deal with it." In a profession that involves interacting with people, where empathy is important. It's clear that many of these women pursued a legal career just for status and ego. If you are referred by Legalshield, be prepared for the worst scenario. For those who have a lot of money and are willing to spend thousands of dollars on a case, well, the rules of the game change.

Meg was recommended to me and handled my contentious protracted divorce. She was extremely responsive and had a special ability to "calm" the emotions and stay focused on the case issues. I felt well supported by her, and she answered all my questions. She hung in there as an advocate no matter how hard it got or how obstructive my ex-husband was. I had met several family law attorneys in the past through the Montgomery County Bar Association, and 2 years later when my (ex-)husband and I decided to get divorced, she was top of mind. Dorothy R Fait was my lawyer in an extremely difficult divorce involving child custody. She advised me throughout the process without any issues; very responsive and responsible professional. All my questions and urgent requests were answered immediately, she never made me wait - which is a very important factor in high conflict cases. She paid a lot of attention to details and brought out important facts in the argument, without getting into petty exchanges.
She protected mine and my children's interest, and thanks to her I have an exceptionally detailed settlement agreement and a court order that covers all aspects of our life to prevent any possible issues.

During the most horrible time of my life, Erin Kopelman was there for me every step of the way, from the beginning consultation, to the final court proceedings and paperwork. Erin was my divorce attorney through an extremely messy and contentious situation. During the entire process she was unfailingly patient with me, taking the time to explain some of the more arcane or complex parts of the process to me so that I could better understand (and be responsive to) the many requests by the Court for documents. In addition, Erin was able to rise above the acrimony of the situation and was a constant advocate for fair, negotiated approaches to closing the gap between the parties. In court, she respectfully, but forcefully pushed our positions in a way that was clear, but not antagonizing to the Judge. She is, in short, someone you would be lucky to have on your side. I was served with custody paperwork regarding my child and I was at a complete loss, I was very emotional regarding this case and I am so grateful to have found Eric to represent me. Horrible lawfirm/ caused me enormous stress to work with them- constant revolving door with attorneys- they switched my attorney 4 times for my case, since attorneys kept leaving and declining to work. In the end Alice Pare kept stating that she does not have time to work on my case, and gave up to my detriment !!
They also concealed the documents/conversations they had with the opposing counsel, despite my multiple requests and kept charging for that !!
No wonder attorney 'profession' is considered the worst profession known!!

My experience with Jennifer was wonderful. I was divorced for three years and was no longer receiving adequate support for my child. Child support was not an issue at the time of my divorce and a few years after. However, things changed and I needed support for my child. I was extremely afraid and sad that I needed to embark on legal proceedings to garner support. I didn’t receive any recommendations and was cold calling family law attorneys that I found on the web. Jennifer was one of the lawyers I found during my search. I was initially impressed with her credentials and her level of experience. Jennifer returned my call the same day I left her a message inquiring about her services. During that initial phone call she pulled up my case information from my divorce while I was on the phone with her. She reviewed my file and gave me great advice during our first conversation. I knew from the first phone call that she would be amazing.
I met with Jennifer a few days later, with fears and tears. During that meeting she let me know that I had a great case, along with what to expect, how long the process would take, and what I may have to endure. Seventeen years ago I met John due to the child visitation/support issues I faced. He took everything I had to say into consideration and explained my rights as a parent while keeping the best interest of the kids in mind. He even indicated that his services may not be needed but that he would be willing to assist if I was uncomfortable speaking in front of the judge.
Hiring him as my attorney was the best decision I made since legal cases can get very complicated and confusing for the average person. He obtained all he promised, never misled me, and worked so hard, which I am forever grateful for.
Ever since then, John has been there for my family and I whenever we need advice or representation, never fails to benefit our situation. As of right now, seventeen years later, I am back seeking his legal advice in hopes of terminating my case now that my kids have been emancipated.

I was driving with no insurance, than I hit someone. I had some jail time charges. I missed my court date. Mr. Scott handle everything. He got the jail time charges remove. None of this is on my driving record. All I had to pay to the District Court was $275. Mr. Scott is great!!!! If you need a lawyer please use Mr. Richard Scott, he will give you a GREAT outcome.

Mrs. West assisted me in a modification of custody and child support case. She is very knowledgeable with the law, she is patient and kind. She always answered every email promptly and always offered great advice. She was very up front with me in a respectful way and helped keep me grounded throughout this process. There are lawyers, then they’re heroes. Nicholas Exarhakis is more than an attorney, he’s a warrior. I discovered Nick on a google search as I desperately scrambled to find an attorney after my previous attorney dropped the ball on my case. My case was complex and far from an easy litigation or legal maneuver. Since the very first consultation I understood immediately that Nick was not the type of attorney that will give me false hope or give me unreal expectations for my case. He was REAL and HONEST. I am a man who wanted custody of my daughter from a mother who had custody since birth (6 years). Without getting into the details of the case, Nick fought relentlessly to have me granted primary custody. The battle was fierce with many motions, hearings appeals and so on, but Nick showed up prepared, armed with facts, evidence, discovery findings, effective cross examination questions and more. He went above and beyond to say the least. No doubt, his time is not cheap, but it was money well spent as I am now the primary custodian of my daughter after 6 years of being alienated from her. NO OTHER ATTORNEY WAS ABLE TO DO WHAT NICK DID. He’s in a different class. Kelley was my second attorney in Maryland during my divorce after I had to fire my first attorney. My first experience with a family law attorney did not go well; I was very guarded after having to fire my first attorney and my expectations were not high. Kelley completely turned around this view for me. She was competent, professional, hard working, and advocated for my rights. My divorce was heading in the wrong direction and she brought this back in line for me. The court decides what is fair, but Kelley was able to craft my separation agreement into something that I felt favorable about.
