Hired for a simple 20 minute virtual court session, spoke one word exactly, left her computer three times to work on other cases causing the judge to roll his eyes and waste tons waiting for her return.
Most important! After three months delaying the requested fee itinerary for the $1000.00 retainer, she illegally added multiple unperformed fees totaling $1010.00. She did this deliberately to prevent upholding her own client rule stated on her site that any unused retainer payments will be refunded. During a personal live phone conversation with Toni Russo, I needed to prove more than once her negligence in fiduciary role I paid her for, proving she worked no more than exactly 12 minutes. She refunded me $500.00 and has been sending non stop bills accumulating interest based on the $10.00 she conjured up illegally. Currently i am working with the NJ Office of Attorney Ethics and US Bar Assiciation.

Unfortunately I was too deep into the process to switch attorneys. I physically handled and negotiated my case. Made copies, provided responses to other attorneys because Russo did not reply timely. The responses that were provided by the firm had another clients information. At one point I was emailed another clients entire divorce settlement. I was also mailed a copy of the same parties personal information. She drags everything out as long as possible to keep collecting, review your bills carefully as I found over $1K in discrepancies for meetings or phone calls which never took place. I was billed for services performed by the paralegal (Amanda) where they tried to attach the attorneys hourly rate. Overall terrible experience, other attorneys do not respect her which was evident.

If I could leave negative stars for this firm, I would. This law firm is working on behalf of Kensington Court Condominiums to remove my sick and mentally incapacitated grandmother from her home. William H. Brosha' Esquire, and the entire law firm are trying to unethically remove my grandmother from her home. He and his team have caused my grandmother epileptic and panic attacks from the stress of losing her home which she has been in for the last 2 decades. We make our payments, and have an agreement with the bank to keep the home. Despite this, William and his team of demon vultures are trying to still remove her from her home. We keep trying to settle with the firm, but they refuse. These greedy parasites wont take any offer no matter how high. If you can avoid this firm like the plague please do. They are in the business of teaming with house associations to remove teannants they personally dont like. Last time I checked, how you feel about someone does not give you the right to remove them from their home.

Micheal has been my attorney through a horrible shameful divorce and custody battle since 2012.
After 5 long years, Micheal is still fighting the battles and the road blocks that my ex-wife keeps throwing our way.
The father always seems to be considered "second class" with the court system which makes it hard to always get to the truth. Micheal will always make sure that your child's voice is heard to help fulfill your child's needs.
We had 4 parent coordinators, 2 guardian alignments, therapists, and social services in place which has been extremely expensive and heartbreaking across the board. Micheal has waived my fees sometimes during all of these services because the expenses were out of control and I was unable to keep up.
He always puts my sons needs and best interest first as he continues to support and help me fight this horrible battle. Micheal Spinato has gone beyond the call of duty during the last 5 years and I stand behind him 110% to stand up for my rights as a dad. I would not want any other attorney in my corner, for Micheal is the best around!

Michael Spinato came highly recommended to me, and I was extremely fortunate that I had the opportunity to hire him. Michael is not only the ultimate professional and is an expert on Divorce law, but is warm, generous, and empathetic to his clients. Going through such a horrible situation I always felt protected.... I knew that I was going to be ok... all because I had Michael representing me. He is extremely well versed in his profession and happens to be such a gentleman as well. He always understood what I going through and he showed emotion, compassion and care as he handled my case. This, to me, is what makes him stand out above others attorneys. As a woman, I needed to know that my children and I would be protected, be treated fairly and receive all I was entitled to. Michael was also extremely attentive to me, answering my emails and phone calls quickly, ultimately making me feel like I was his only client.
Michael is the ultimate professional... in his manner, speech and his correspondences. He is extremely well respected among his peers. I hired this office for a very simple case regarding visitation and child support. I was told multiple times that the ease of the case would not allot for more money than the amount of my retainer agreement and that I would get a refund. I paid the retainer agreement in full. I supplied the supporting documentation including requesting previous records myself, weeks before the case. Somehow they still only filed my counter application a day before my court date. Court was ok, although I felt it could have been much shorter however the attorney didn’t do anything to stop the other party from rambling on and on. After court I received an email stating I’d hear from the legal assistant regarding my refund. Instead I received a bill for $2,000 extra dollars. I looked through the itemization, shocked but accepting I am no expert. The billed items charged hundreds of dollars for my inquiry with the office (before I even decided about being represented), phone calls that were only few minutes long where I was charged an hour or more (I matched to my phone records), emails that didn’t ever happen, record requests where I had supplied the records myself, and several other items that were entirely made up. I disputed the charges, providing my own records (like my phone bill and email record that in no way could have been fabricated), and was told that I didn’t understand how things worked. I offered to compromise and started doing my own research. It turned out this is a repeat issue with this office and now I have to file a formal dispute that will end up with me in court/mediation again. Be careful- I guarantee you’ll be overcharged if they think you can pay it.

Retained him for services for an easy case where all parties were in agreement. Once I paid, I never heard from him. Useless office personnel kept giving me the run around. One free consult phone call and 2 answered emails and I received an invoice saying my retainer was almost gone. I called the court and found out my paperwork was never filed. I ended up doing all of the work myself, making all of the phone calls and setting up my own court date. What a crap law firm, with crap lawyers. If he was too busy to take the case, he should have passed it on to someone else. Do not use Carluccio, Leone, Dimon, Doyle, & Sacks.

Judith is just another cog wheel in the system, with an arrogant demeanor. She has clearly chosen her career path for money, not to help divided families and children. Judith is rude, hostile, and defensive. Rather than talking to you as a client, or human, she will talk down to you and belittle. What she charges is outrageous, hundreds of dollars for one email. Judi Mcdermott and her staff were rude and not knowledgable about any same sex dissolution laws. When she did not know how to proceed legally she would get defensive, and hostile. Her legal solutions did not resolve the issues and ended up costing me money even though she did nothing. I then had to hire another attorney,Deb Guston, who is brilliant, knows the law and found creative solutions to resolve my legal issues, efficiently, expediently and without overcharging.

I hired Ms. Tulipan some time ago. She seems to be very knowledgeable. However, once she moved from North Bergen to her new office located in West new York - she has lost her touch. Her staff (who used to be the only people I communicated with) changed - became rude and unknowledgeable. they never know anything and Ms. Tulipan is never available and seems lost when we speak now. Her prices are outrageous. For the amount of money I pay, I would think I can at least speak to someone who knows what they are doing.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! They are the worst experience I have ever had! They just take your money and do nothing! Unprofessional, no communication, I probably would have represented this case better, I wish I had never hired them. They took payment a almost a year ago and they don't want to give me what I am entitled to because they give me a thousand excuses. Be careful because they send you to medical centers with dubious behavior, they committed fraud on me and forged my signature, that's why they have me on edge.

I hired John Pihno , possibly the worst communication process , I’ve been dealing with this office for a year and never met my lawyer , couldn’t get him on the phone his assistant Suzette never responded back to emails or calls . I felt like I was constantly chasing them . A lot of the things that happens during my case as , surgically etc. would have never happened unless I pushed and of course these people want a piece of your check when it’s all over . We did a project which included several change orders asked for by the Hicks at his residence . Mr. Hicks, a partner at this law firm , acted very unprofessional, his wife actually contacted my employees via text causing tortious interference with our contracts. While completing his contracts, we found his soil was sub par and full of clay and needed to be remediated. He and his wife practically had temper tantrums causing for an unbelievably unsuitable work environment at his home. Even with their attempts to cause harm to me and my company, we competed the contract. A year later, he claimed that some of the brick pavers moved, I explained to him that he refused to pay to remedy the soil situation and therefore it was not covered by our warranty. He proceeded to use his law degree to sue us, he filed suit for over $24,000.00 which included almost $12,000.00 in new landscaping which was not part of my contract. While delivering the discovery to his house, the driveway which he claimed to have been removed and reinstalled in his lawsuit had the same pavers sinking in the same spot a year after they were supposedly replaced.. if this partnership allows attorneys like this, who use their law license to try to steal from hard working contractors then I would say run away from this firm. They support disgraceful behavior like this from their partners! We just recently went to binding arbitration. The arbiter threw out 99% of his case and awarded him $2300.00, one tenth of what he was fraudulently suing me and my company for!

Really bad experience!! Nicole was appointed for my case.Not able to make ANY progress in my case. Dragged call after call for 6 months without 1 single written order. Billing went to 5X times the retainer which was already so high. There were times they didnt respond for 3-5 days. Just kept the billing going on time. Finally had to fire them for case and it got resolved within 30 days without any issues. Sorry to say but would strongly recommend to avoid using them.

I had began a process to do a name change on my property deed in February and paid in full. Every couple of months I checked in and saw that that there was no progress. I received explanations that the process is stalled or the application was rejected but after 7 months I called the county clerk and discovered that it was not showing as rejected because they had never even received an application. It is now September and no one is getting back to me despite repeated attempts to contact the office.

My divorce was not an easy one by any means. The other party did not want to be a participate in the process that she initiated, be fair financially, and was in character throughout the two and half yr process. Veronica weeded through this from minute one.
Veronica jumped on board in my case more than halfway through the process from the recommendation of my previous attorney to get my case resolved. There is a reason he recommended her. Veronica was forceful and stern during the negotiations(mediation) with the other party and was always looking out for my best interests financially which included doing everything possible from the first day I spoke to her to avoid trial which is where my case was headed. I had a truly frustrating experience working with Laurie for my divorce case. From the beginning, I felt like I was kept in the dark; communication was sparse and disorganized, and every time I tried to get in touch, it took days or even weeks to receive a response. My case was highly stressful and time-sensitive, but Laurie seemed indifferent to my concerns and the urgency of the situation.
Throughout the process, important paperwork would get 'lost' or delayed, which not only prolonged the entire ordeal but also cost me more money in additional fees. I even had to remind them about key details of my case multiple times—details that were critical to my settlement. When I finally reviewed the billing, I was stunned to see charges for tasks that were either unnecessary or hadn’t been clearly explained, making me feel overcharged and underappreciated.
I came to Laurie hoping for professionalism and support during a difficult time, but I was left feeling stressed and misrepresented. If you’re looking for a responsive, organized, and competent attorney, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This was a huge disappointment and a costly mistake.

Not as expected, as I relied on google reviews to make the choice the wrong choice to pick Laurie to handle my legal matter. I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Laurie. From the start, communication was poor and inconsistent. Despite her promises of being 'responsive' and 'understanding,' I often found myself waiting days for a reply to important questions. When she did respond, the advice was vague and unhelpful. She seemed more interested in billing me than in genuinely helping me through the legal process. I retained Dan to write a demand letter to a neighbor who was encroaching on my property. The letter was very thorough and detailed, and it included some wording I'd requested, and the overall tone was sending a strong message. And I don't want to make promises for him, seeing as I don't know how busy he may get, but in my case he wrote and sent out the letter the day after I had retained him. The letter was successful, as the neighbor adhered to the demand down to the letter. Another thing worth mentioning is that Daniel is very responsive, always replying to my emails in quick fashion. I am very pleased with my dealings with him and his firm and will not hesitate to retain him and refer him to others in the future.

I've been using this Firm for the past 10 years. Dan is very knowledgeable in various areas of law. I've used him for everything from real estate to family law and even litigation when a customer refused to pay me for a job I did for them. He helped me with a couple of traffic tickets and my grandparents Will and subsequent probate application. I won't use anyone else. He even works with other attorneys so I never have to look anywhere else for exceptional legal help. He really is a one stop shop for all things legal. He's always very warm and inviting when I call or visit the office. His staff is amazing. I really can't say enough good things about this guy and they way he conducts business.
