I want to share my experience, but I have language barrier. I had an accident. While I was delivering, someone hit my car. It was a surprise. I didn’t see too big damage to my car, so I thought everything was fine.
But I still decided to go get treatment for my injuries. I went to therapy for a few months. It was a hard time for me, but I knew I needed to take care of myself. During this time, Mr. Shlionsky helped me a lot. He always took my calls, even on weekends, to make sure I didn’t have any stress. He worked very hard for me.
I feel so humbled and grateful for everything he did. Thanks to him, I was able to get a good compensation. This support really means a lot to me. I want to say a big thank you to Mr. Shliosnky. I am very thankful for all he has done for me. His help changed my life in a big way. Thank you, Mr. Shlionsky!

Thank you, DENNIS SHLIONSKY and DANIELLE! This is the second time Dennis represented me, and I couldn’t be more thankful. Right when we were about to settle my first case, I got into another minor accident that made my neck pain even worse. The insurance company tried to brush it off as a simple fender bender, but Dennis didn’t let them get away with it. Even though I had surgery after the first accident and the MRI showed my herniation had shrunk, Dennis fought tooth and nail to make sure I got every dollar I deserved.
Dennis isn’t just an incredible lawyer, he’s a genuinely good person. He listens, cares, and follows through on everything he promises. There were times I needed to reach him on weekends or late at night, and he always picked up the phone, no questions asked. He made sure my medical bills were taken care of and never let the insurance company push me around. Dennis truly saved the day and got me all the money I was owed. Angela Scafuri, I was referred to her by a retiring attorney. It was the best possible turn of events for me. She listened attentively and non-judgmentally to my issue and to my hesitations. Her responses showed that she immediately understood the issue and me. Angela presented insightful points that I need to know even before we formally began. Katie was not prepared for any hearing. She did not prepare for the divorce hearing at all. I lost everything I put into my marriage. I cannot afford to get a place of my own and often have to sleep in a garage. Her forensic person was even worse. Completely unprofessional and not prepared. Stay away.

My son hired this law firm, and let me tell you, they are terrible. They can't be bothered to get back to you in a timely fashion if at all. They want you to do all the work while they sit back and relax. They don't advocate for you. They have the " it is what it is" mentality. They should just retire and stop taking people's money that they really don't have.

From the first day I spoke with Ms. Savoy she was nothing but truthful and honest with me. When it came to me telling her what I wanted, she was upfront and told me it would be a battle, but she had no doubt in her mind, that we would prevail. When it came to my custody battle, she was nothing but attentive and fighting for everything that was in me and my son's best interest. Ms. Savoy heard me out and understood exactly what I wanted and made it happen! Even at times when she thought I was maybe asking for too much, as soon as I told her I was wiling to roll the dice and take the chance, she backed me 100%! I was referred to Amy Smith by some friends and I have to say that from the time of our initial consultation, I felt that Amy was very professional and caring to my concerns. She was always confident, responsive and courteous when I would email or call. She is extremely knowledgeable of the process and follows the rules. She is respected and well known by her peers, as I know a few.
I have to say that every time I called the office there was a friendly voice on the other side and you know when you hear a smile in the voice, you are in good hands. I would never recommend either Francesca or Carlye, as my experience with them was that of ineffectiveness, procrastination and extreme inefficiency resulting in high bills and no accomplishments on my behalf, accompanied by poor attitude. I contacted Francesca in late Sep 2023 to help me and my son gain control of my son’s college fund and get my ex to pay child support. Francesca was optimistic, stated that they will get to work on it “right away”, and suggested that she bring on Carlye as it would be “more efficient”. What I was not told is that I will be billed thousands of dollars for Francesca and Carlye talking to each other (conferences they called it, and that is very lucrative for the two of them, but definitely not efficient). I was also not told that it meant that Francesca will dump my case on an inexperienced junior attorney –something I would have never agreed to. Not knowing any better I took her advice. By the end of November, still with no court date or even a motion in sight, my ex hired a lawyer, who, according to Francesca, was going to give us a counter-offer. Francesca suggested we wait to see it, before going to court. I waited for somebody to reach out to me until mid-January, for nearly 2 months, when my ex sent my son’s tuition payment to himself instead of to college. When I texted her, Francesca finally called my ex’s lawyer and discovered that he fired her. I am not sure when Francesca or Carlye were planning to follow-up on the situation if I didn’t text them. At that point, Francesca reassured me that we will be doing to court “very soon” (previously suggesting that in such a situation we can have an emergency court hearing within days). However, neither she nor Carlye pursued an emergency hearing, and did nothing to remediate the situation, leaving myself and my son to fight my ex for the tuition money, but I was billed thousands of dollars for communicating with them about the situation. It took until March to get a motion produced, with the court date eventually scheduled for mid-April. At that point my ex lawyered up again, asking to postpone the court date so they can file counter-motion. While it only took his lawyer a total of only 11 days from when he was hired until he completed the motion and submitted it to court, my lawyers missed court communications, and with all the other delays on part of Francesca and Carlye we did not get to court until early June, more than 8 months from when I hired them, and at the cost of 4-5 times what my ex paid his lawyer to get to that point. Once we got to court, Carlye proved to be just as ineffective and inefficient in convincing the judge of anything of benefit to me. The summer was spent by her in an unbroken streak of failures to get any results on my behalf or to move the process toward resolution through multiple court appearances, while billing me thousands of dollars. I was left to fight with my ex by myself outside of court to try to get to any kind of an agreement about the college fund and child support, while continuing to pay legal fees for "representation" but no results. My ex and I finally came to an agreement, outside of court, with no input from my lawyers. The agreement was written up by my ex’s attorney, who was much more responsive and efficient through that process. I really should have fired Francesca and Carlye at that point and finalized it myself, but I thought that I may as well benefit from having access to legal representation. Another mistake. They dragged it out for another 2 months, with the final agreement being identical to the original + changes by my ex that he sent over the day after his lawyer circulated the agreement, but I was charged additional ~ 4500 for their “work”. They did nothing but dragged the process out for over a year, left me to fight with my ex by myself and “efficiently” billed me tens of thousands of dollars. When I brought my concerns to Francesca, she accused me of trying to shake her down and get out of paying my bills. So – definitely don’t recommend.

Hired him for 2 cases in 2023 the day I went to jail, facing 35 years.. severely overcharged. He didn’t look at my discovery til 3 months in, when he finally came to see me in jail . Told me I was going to do 5 -7 years in prison. I fired him the next day, hired a real lawyer , and I got time served after 10 months.

My experience with this law firm and with Ryan Nussey was awful. A waste of time and money. I would wait in his waiting room for hours to speak with him after he was already retained, because he would not call me back. I waited in his waiting room 4 times for over 8 months. 8 months! He came unprepared to a mediation meeting and still never produced any documentation required to move my divorce forward. He cared very little about me or my case.

I was referred to Sal Simeone thru a friend with a post divorce issue also. My case was about terminating alimony due to ex claiming he was disabled. Mr Hartstein has proved to be incompetent when it is a complicated divorce case and he cannot remember the facts and misapplied the facts without consulting me. Mr Hartstein is scattered during phone conversations and can't retain details . Mr Harstein placed me in a precarious situation and was unable, even after acknowledging his error, to correct the mistake. Mr Hartstein loves to share stories about other clients, wasting precious time and billing for his non sequitor babble. Mr Harstein is filled with himself, manipulative and spent more time talking about himself and other cases and then billing me. The results were doing nothing of any value. Mr Harstein is not technical with the new computer age and using him is a waste of money. Mr Harstein makes it appear that he is interested in your case, but don't fall for his concern, his main focus is to talk a lot and then bill, bill, bill. Instead of Mr Hartstein working on your case, he spends the time bragging and patting himself on the back Don't do it... you will be wasting your money.
