I would highly recommend her to anyone. She is so attentive and assertive in what she does and takes her job very serious. During my custody case, my son was being majorly abused being in the company of his mother and her associates. The home was a very negative environment and toxic to my son and the custody case was only brought about because of his constant running away from home and ending up at my doorstep. I had no experience in the transitional phase of obtaining custody but Mrs. Mandel made it so easy for me. So easy that on the first court appearance Veronica was so prepared and was so determined, I got temporary custody of my son on the first go!! As a dad I didn't think it was possible that quickly. It brought me to tears. She even took the time out to make calls whether it was 4 in the afternoon or 10, 11, 0r 12 midnight to check up on me and make sure everything was ok with me and my sons transition. She has a beautiful soul and never backed down to anything in court that was thrown at her. I felt so protected by her will to make sure my son remained in safe environment. She made sure I knew my court dates, made sure i brought the proper documents to court and never ever made me feel I was alone in this fight. My son had it rough in the beginning but after her advice to seek therapy for him, 5 years later he's doing extremely well. My first attorney represented me in family court. I paid over $7,000 and got nowhere! My brother recommended Sandra Spennato so I cut ties with the 1st attorney, collected my files and started again from scratch with Sandra. Immediately, she listened to my current situation, listened to my goals, and put together a custom plan while also managing my expectations on what is realistic in the eyes of NY law. 1st thing she did was a discovery phase (which my former attorney NEVER did) looking at my ex's bank records which put us in a favorable position. She fought hard and in much less than a year (**during COVID**) we had the terms agreed to involving my daughter and my finances. If only I had been introduced to her in the first place, would have been A LOT less stress, a lot less time, and a lot less money wasted. I hired Sandra Spennato to help me obtain custody of my son. She is very knowledgeable and also quite the tactician. Sandra did not sell me a dream and false hope. She told me the cold hard truth every time we met and that is what I need. I have experienced lawyers that have sold me false truths and have only been interested in draining my wallet dry. She is nothing like that. I have never met a more understanding and passionate attorney. She understood the circumstances I was faced with in my case and she helped keep my emotions in check. I hired Mr. Mindin because my ex refused to return our son after spending 3 weeks of August in a different state with him. Mr. Mindin filed an emergency order and got in front of a judge that same week. He was ordered to return the children back to my custody. Diana is not only great attorney, but also makes very wise moves in terms of painting crystal clear to the Judge, and court authorities. I have found her when I was hopeless, and I have been literally desperate to find a right, knowledgeable Counselor who addresses my issues. Lynn is an excellent lawyer! I met her after I was divorced. My ex wanted to pay less child support. She got me more than I imagined and even got my portion of my kids college deceased, my ex is paying most of it.

Chris Obstarczyk is a highly knowledgeable attorney who handled my speeding ticket case with great care and expediency. He was particularly responsive and always kept me informed on the status of my case. I thought that I was looking at a big fine, increased insurance premium and tedious defensive driving classes. In fact, I never had to attend court and my ticket was reduced to a parking violation which (as someone who needs to drive every day for my livelihood) was a HUGE relief. I certainly don't advocate speeding and will absolutely watch my speed, but the penalties today can be overly severe.
I highly recommend Chris if you are looking for hassle free results. I can't thank him enough and I will absolutely call him for any of my legal needs.

Christopher Obstarczyk is a fantastic attorney in every aspect.

Lily is experienced, professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, fearless, and honest. She was the second divorce attorney I hired: the first one did not know how to handle a high conflict divorce, but Lily was quick to understand the situation, and fought for me, to achieve the best possible outcome in a bad situation. I was truly afraid of my ex spouse, who could be extremely spiteful, and Lily helped me to feel safe. I appreciated that she did not employ dirty tactics or lies, which the other party did, but was still an able, calm yet fierce advocate for me and for the interests of my children. She knows the laws and the courts very well. I could count on her to give me her honest assessment of the situation and possible/probable scenarios, to fight for me where it made sense to fight, but also to help to bring us to a workable agreement whenever the opportunity arose. She advocated so that I could make choices that I could live with: I wanted to keep my house, and she helped me to do that, even when the other party wanted to force me to sell it. However, she did encourage me to think about all of the options that were available to me before making my decisions. She was kind, patient, and encouraging when I felt that I could not tolerate the stress of the divorce. I believe that she truly understands what divorce feels like for her clients, having been through it herself once. I recommend her highly to anyone who is going through a divorce.

I just finished with more than a year long divorce "saga". Thanks to Lily, we were able to avoid a trial and the case was settled on quite reasonable terms.
When my now ex- filed for divorce, I interviewed 3 lawyers and did not feel comfortable. A friend of a friend of mine recommended Lily, and after we first met I was quite confident that I can trust her. Step after step after step, thanks to Lily, we were getting into more and more advantageous position.
Lily is a pleasure to deal with; she is easily accessible (you don't need to go through layers of secretaries, assistants to ask a question) , personable, very experienced, has a great intuition and great sense of humor.
Divorce is terrible situation, but if you get a lawyer that you are comfortable with, it makes things much easier.
I would recommend Lily wholeheartedly.

I poured many hours and eyestrain, I went without sleep and ate a poor diet, I did everything I could to create a business. After some hard times I am doing better than I every expected. With that money I took care of my family and raised three beautiful children and took care of my wife. Things changed and in a blink of an eye the change in my relationship put everything I worked for in jeopardy.
Rather than hash the details let me just say that he was recommended to me along with another attorney who I went to first. I went against my gut going with someone else at first because of mutual friends. (I was also conerned that he worked with a lot of women and might not be sympathetic, which was way off base.
After hearing from the other attorney that I should be ready to liquidate, lose the overwhelming majority of my money and my time with my youngest I went back to "Mr. Mo" I call him, (I'm calling him Pashan now).
He didn't sugar coat it either but he was ready to fight and to reason and do whatever was necessary so that I didn't have to entirely start over at this point of my life. It was ugly at times and he stepped up, and definitely switched it around to being on the offensive and planned for contingencies. In the end he forced my ex and her lawyer to be reasonable. He also helped me with a good deal of business and trust work and the sale and move I made. I hope I am conveying what a good lawyer and friend he has been. He wasn't trying to hurt people or stick it to anyone or keep things going just to do it, he was just trying to defend my interest in and get everyone to see how they could reasonably make the best of an unfortunate period we had to get through to be happy and move forward.
