Warning to women seeking custody and protection from abusive partners: do not choose Nate Van Loon. He will provide promises up front, claim to be your champion and pretend to have a thought-out plan of action to investigate your spouse financially, reveal spending patterns, "secure what's yours," get them to move out, and protect your kids. Except none of that happened in reality. Multiple times, I would go as long as 7 weeks without a return email, call, or response from him in any way. He strung my case out for longer than necessary - telling me I would get my chance to tell my story at the next court hearing and it never came. Had I been educated as a client, (who never stopped asking questions about what to expect and how to prepare) I likely would have made different decisions entirely. Nate deliberately kept me in the dark and had no problem cashing my check for the trial he showed up for and sold out from under me by telling the referee the reason for my divorce was a lack of being heard by my spouse and not the fact that I had police reports, evidence of physical violence and a pattern of erratic behavior from alcohol use. None of it was considered because Nate didn't care to advocate for me. Worst decision I ever made. Feb - Dec 2024.

Good morning, I found attorney Nathan Van Loon online. He assisted me with child support and my divorce. Mr.Van Loon respected my privacy and explained the whole process from beginning to the end. Every time I entered the office, he made me feel supported and safe. He listened to me and recommended options and followed through with only the items I agreed with. Of all the lawyers I’ve dealt with in my life Neil Flynn at Horn Wright, LLP is the only one who took the time to listen to everything I had to say and answer all my questions before even discussing how he would be paid. Once we laid the foundation for our attorney-client relationship, he gave me several options including a straight contingency fee, a retainer/hourly rate fee structure or a hybrid of the two. His bills were always reasonable and when I questioned something he made sure to discuss it with me in person until I was satisfied. Most importantly, he did a fantastic job representing me and my small business when we needed a civil litigation attorney. I would absolutely recommend Neil and his firm Horn Wright, LLP to my friends and family.

You cannot say nothing bad about Bataresh Pammer. When I meet with George Pammer for the first time. He made me feel comfortable with the stress I was going through. I also received addition support from his team of partner Claudia Bataresh and his Para Legal Michelle Vincent. It made a world of difference to me. I later learned from my niece that George was rated Super Lawyers NY Metro Rising Stars for 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and most likely 2025 which I did not know. Diana is not only great attorney, but also makes very wise moves in terms of painting crystal clear to the Judge, and court authorities. I have found her when I was hopeless, and I have been literally desperate to find a right, knowledgeable Counselor who addresses my issues. When I met with her other party already had run off with the minors, we had no clue where they could be, I have had consulted a lot of attorneys, each of them were saying different things, in fact one of them encouraged me to move the state where other party could be regarding the piece of information I have had.

When I called, Alex immediately responded to my vehicle inquiry and sorrows surrounding the repairs. After providing him with all the purchase documents and repair documents he was able to tell me that I definitely had a breach of warranty case against the manufacturer.
It took some time (dealing with a large motor company) but they eventually paid for my lack of use of the car (always in the shop) and also paid for the lawyer fees.
Alex was able to help me win my settlement. I would have had no idea where to start. If this happens to anyone around me I'd tell them to call Alex. Very helpful and professional!

Leon negotiated a custody arrangement for me when my husband I were separating. Leon ressponded to me at all hours and put me at ease. Ivana was extremely helpful throughout my entire divorce process. From our initial consultation, I walked away with a lot of information, and not feeling as lost as I first felt when faced with this challenge. She gave a clear and honest overview of the process ahead of me.
Upon hiring her, and throughout the process she was always available and extremely quick in her responses to any questions or concerns that I had. She was consistently professional with both myself and with all the other lawyers that we dealt with, even when some of those lawyers were less than professional. In addition to handling all legal aspects of this case in a superb manner, she went above and beyond to help me through this process emotionally - when I would be at my wits end because of the frustrating antics of my ex, she would remind me of the big picture and walk me through all my options to help me feel more in control of the situation.

If you need a QDRO or DRO (for divorce) this is the lawyer you need to use!!! She is the nicest, fairest most decent lawyer I have dealt with and unfortunately I have had experience with three divorce lawyers for one divorce from HELL. She is very competent and knows her stuff. I wish I could have hired her as my first divorce lawyer. Anyway, I was able to have her fix the DRO even though she's in Ithaca and I'm in the Hudson Valley! We did everything over the phone/ email. So don't let distance sway you. If you have a New York State Retirement or 401k and are getting divorced you need to call her. Don't let your divorce lawyer handle the QDRO because they could screw it up like mine did. Use an expert like Carla.

Words can't describe how happy I am that I used Mr. Perskin. I was in a pretty gnarly situation (to say the least) and from the moment we met, he showed immense confidence, listened to me, and fought super SUPER hard for me. Great Law Firm! I was leary at first and ended up reading the reviews and was judging the law firm based off other people's reviews and exprience but got the total opposite services. Maybe it's particular attorneys but A. Jazembak was assigned to me. Mr. Jazembak has great communication and wants to know precisely information to accurately get the results his clients want.
Honestly, if you want a good defense, be ready to have everything documented and ready to present to them EVERYTHING. They aren't mind readers so I think the negatives reviews came from clients thinking that they had to only give the basic information and assumed because it's a law firm they had the ability to make a good case on basic information. If you're putting in effort, they will 100% fight for there clients. The paralegal has excellent communication C. Barrett and the account keeps track of all funds and send an itemized bill accurately H. Myers. Give them a try, ypu wont be disappointed!!

I made the mistake of hiring J. Monagan for my contested divorce almost 2 years ago. She withheld information from the court and judge that showed my spouse was hiding money and moving it during the two years that she represented me.
