Jean and her office are kind and extremely helpful. Jean has a great sense of human decency and compassion as a lawyer. She even let me pay her monthly without adding interest. When we were in court, she always wanted to get in and out, so as to not waste my money. She is not extremely aggressive, but I appreciated this about her in the end because it made me realize how much better we looked on our end, as opposed to my ex's slimy lawyer who wanted to soak him up for every little penny he had.

I was referred to Mrs. Kelly by an attorney that felt she would be the best at representing me throughout my divorce.
I am not a very wealthy individual to say the least. I am pretty much your typical middle class worker struggling to get by. Mrs Kelly was very understanding and very "real". She was very honest and frank with me from the start and I truly respected that.

Absolutely disgusted with how he dealt with me . Very rude called me in the middle of a shift and had an attitude because I couldn’t talk once I could talk. He basically started talking at me and not to me. Very passive aggressive. It’s absolutely unprofessional. I did not feel like my issue could be resolved from the first 30 seconds I spoke to him.

Matt Loftus is one of the most honest and trustworthy attorneys I have done business with. He is highly knowledgable in several areas and if he doesn't know the answer to one of my questions he finds one thru a colleague or by other means of measure. I can’t say enough about Atty. Loftus. I’m a retired paralegal who has dealt with many lawyers, and can honestly say that a majority of them have issues with returning calls, overbilling, and being lax in handing cases. Expecting that I would have to deal with this when the need arose to hire an attorney for a personal legal matter that I couldn’t handle on my own, I was truly surprised to find that Atty. Loftus strived to be the exact opposite. He returned my calls in a timely manner, was straight up with me on how he intended to work on my case, and completed it with a favorable outcome. I needed an attorney for a divorce proceeding and several years later, a child custody issue. Ms. Newman was very generous with her time in explaining to me the various steps that needed to be taken and in keeping me informed as to the progress of my legal issues. She was easily accessable by phone for a quick question, or if she was out of the office, she always returned calls promptly. Although my divorce took longer than I would have liked due to my ex-husband's refusal to cooperate in any way, Ms. Newman kept things moving forward. When issues cropped up after the divorce was finalized, she continued to be accessable and supportive as needed. Some years later, an emergency child custody issue arose. I again contacted Amy, and she immediately got the issue resolved in court. She is very well versed in all areas of family law, including adoptions. I have referred both family and friends to her as needed and will continue to do so.

The Shrager law office gave my case to Heather Kelly. Do NOT hire Shrager... they talked down to me, like I had no brain, yelled at me for following up when they told me to, treated me like I was a criminal and the office smelled of ego. I had no choice. So glad they "sold" the case to Kelly. She treated me the EXACT opposite. Took my phone call, listened to me (every time I needed her too), treated me like an innocent (I was) human being! My case was not complicated and the end result 95% would have been the same without her but Im so pleased she was there by my side. She has a calming presence about her.

We have been represented by different counsel in the past that made bad deals with opposing counsel and the judge. We were nervous to hire Kim because we knew she was the best but we were afraid we couldn't afford her. She was not as expensive as we had feared, and was worth every penny.
