I'm glad I was able to find Justin to help with my will and the other forms he suggested. When I got hurt from an accident I knew I needed to get my things together. Justin was able to do everything over the telephone and email because I could not come to his office because of the accident. When it was time to sign all the documents he was able to get a notary and witnesses to come to my house. I did not have to worry about doing anything.
If you are considering getting your will I suggest speaking to Justin. You will be happy that you did.

I hired Justin after my wife filed for divorce. I was nervous about everything because you hear so many horror stories about losing everything and having your kids taken away. With Justin, he kept in constant contact with me to explain how everything was going and what were my best options.
In the end, the divorce was completed just like Justin had explained. I'm glad I listened to his advise and didn't try to rush it.

My husband and I both decided we wanted to get a divorce and not make it a bigger deal than what it needed to be. My husband was referred to Justin through Fathers for Equal Rights. Justin was very attentive to listening to our concerns and knowledgeable about how we should proceed with the divorce. Instead of feeling any pressure to hire a lawyer, Justin suggested that we may want to consider not each hiring lawyers and we each represent ourselves. Justin did suggest having someone draft our documents just to make sure our documents were done correctly.
Looking back, I am so glad we took Justin's suggestion. We decided to have Justin draft all the documents we would need for court. He spent time with us to go through the entire process and answered any questions we had. What made us feel more at ease was that Justin was quick to get back to us if we had any questions.
We were able to save a lot of money by working with Justin. I recommend you speak to him just to go over your options.

Lacy LaFour is a wonderful attorney and I cannot recommend her enough. She is kind and supportive, and was (and still is) genuinely interested in the well-being of my son. She is also tough but professional when she needs to be, and put in the effort to really understand my case and design a strategy to win it. I have had the opportunity to work with this lawyer for over two years, and unfortunately, my experience has been less than satisfactory. During the trial, I found him to be unprepared, often fumbling through papers and emails, and struggling to remember key details, including my name. On several occasions, I had to remind him of the information contained within the court order.
Regrettably, I cannot recommend this lawyer as I believe he is dismissive, unresponsive to clients, and appears to schedule multiple Zoom calls to deplete the retainer fee while achieving little progress. Despite my repeated reminders, he was unable to recall the details of the court order, and I found myself having to provide him with multiple reminders.
In particular, I asked him if the retainer fee would cover the modification of my child support, even if it was necessary to go to court. He confirmed several times that it would be sufficient, but after three to four months, no progress had been made, and he requested an additional retainer fee to finish what he had agreed to do initially.
Furthermore, I believe that this lawyer is motivated by financial gain, and he uses threatening tactics to bully clients into immediate payment. I experienced this firsthand when he became upset with me for not paying immediately, even though I required some time to gather the necessary funds.
Lastly, his communication skills are inadequate, as he scheduled multiple Zoom calls and failed to show up, without providing prior notification. As a result, I was left hanging without any notice, which I found to be very unprofessional.
In conclusion, based on my experience, I would advise against engaging the services of this lawyer.

Papa Dieye is an excellent attorney, I wish I had used him for my divorce in the first place and then my ex couldn't have taken me back to court! I had kept detailed records and sent them all over to Papa and he went through everything thoroughly. He patiently explained everything to me in language I could understand before, during and after court. He responded to emails and calls in a timely manner and was fair with his time and billing. He is obviously well respected amongst his peers too which was evident by the interactions I saw during the time waiting to go in front of the judge. I recently worked with Ronique as she took my situation from a losing one to the end result I wanted. She came onto my case after my initial lawyer really screwed things up. I was very pleased to work with her and HIGHLY recommend her to anyone going through a divorce.
To go into a little more detail, Ronique essentially fixed my situation. My ex-spouse hired a very aggressive lawyer who accused me of everything possible (literally) despite no evidence and painted me as an absentee parent which was not at all the case. My prior lawyer did a terrible job and from what I can tell, essentially rolled out of bed the morning of the hearing and went into court with near zero preparation. This initially resulted in me paying child support and loss of primary custody. Ronique fixed it and was worth every penny – she got me to 50% custody and a 50% split of postmarital assets, what I wanted from the start. She dealt with two very difficult opposing counsels effectively and was great to work with on my side. Her research and preparation for both trial and mediation were impressive.
Again, I highly recommend Ronique. Every case is different and there are no guarantees, but she has what it takes.

This firm only sees clients as a paycheck. Everything filed was done late or not at all, showed up hearings tired, “need more coffee” unprepared. Lost custody of my 2.5yo daughter to man with a court ordered failed drug test for amphetamines, over $24k in arrears child support, history of domestic abuse and arrested for sexual assault. They put in 4 pieces of evidence of 100+, didn’t call any of our witnesses, and said they don’t file frivolous motions when I asked for an appeal…turns out they did not preserve our case for appeal after reading the transcripts. This firm dug our family into a hole we are still fighting to get out of, absolutely awful.

Y’all I cannot speak highly enough of Sharon Easley and her team. We weren’t expecting this to go to the level it did. With my ex showing up pretty much last minute ( thought it wouldn’t be contested), Sharon worked diligently to pull out all the stops and work hard to protect my daughter. She took the other side off guard, having Information available that took this case to another level. She OWNED the courtroom and put the other side to shame. This woman has been changing lives for 25 years and I can see why. This might sound minimal. A simple name change. It was anything but. The complexity with a minor requesting a chance is not an easy feat. She went against the grain and spoke to my child who wanted to testify. This apparently is not common / allowed with these arguments. She had faith in my child and explained to the judge why she felt Kay would be able to articulate herself and the more than generous judge allowed for it. Again- not something typical at all. With Sharon’s confidence, intelligence and experience, she left the other side grasping at straws and visibly losing their composure. It was comparable to a cheetah taking down a baby gazelle. If you’re looking for someone willing to take unconventional chances to make changes in the standard family law outcome- call Sharon. She’s a beast and she wins. She’s willing to do what others won’t, to achieve what others don’t. I’m grateful for her, and she’s been a crucial part in teaching- and allowing my child to speak up against those who wrong her and giving her a rare opportunity to prove one should always act against what’s wrong. Allowing her to prevail in the end. We made changes today and it’s because she had faith in a Childs voice and took the leap of faith needed to offer my child a brighter future. Thank you Sharon. I've dealt with lawyers who really couldn't care less about supporting their clients and Sharon Easley is not one of them. You may not speak with her everyday but you can trust she is on your case. These things take time. Sharon is extremely knowledgeable in her field and will represent you fairly. Honesty is the best policy. If a client isn't upfront and is hiding stuff, you can bet they won't get a fair deal. I have know Ms Easley for 15 years and have utilized her services in business as well as domestic issues. Sharon is the most ethical and effective attorney of which I have ever been in contact. As a small business owner that sells to retail outlets, I have had several issues that required consultation and representation with her to include divorce cases from members of my family or friends. I recommend Sharon for any case in which she feels she is qualified. Most of the judges in this area know that when Sharon takes a case, especially where children are involved that she will not move forward unless it is in the best interest of the child. Therefore going into the courtroom that awareness is there. I have several friends that are either present or retired judges and to a person they respect Sharon and will be the first to admit that if a negative post appears regarding her it is probably from a client or lawyer that was at the opposing table in the courtroom. Her fees are very reasonable and results oriented.

We met Lisa at the Cameron County Courthouse. She was there representing another case and we were there trying to to navigate our way through child support and family court pro se, having traveled in from upstate Texas. I was wrongfully accused of a Title IX infraction. Marc is an exceptional listener and possesses the innate ability to ascertain facts from friction.
