We meet with Jennifer for the first time back in 2015! My husband and I were very concerned about the well being of our grandson. He had already survived a head injury when he was only 11 weeks old. My husband an I prayed that God would save him and heal him. He was flown to cook's children's hospital on two separate occasions. First one when he was first admitted to our local hospital and then detected that he was a possible shaken baby and a second time a few days after he was released from cook's children's hospital for seizure disorder. We spent the next six months taking him back and fourth to cooks for follow up appointments. We soon realized that we needed to be a voice for an innocent child, which also happened to be our grandson. We hired a local attorney And was unsuccessful at getting custody of him. We didn't give up then and kept compiling any evidence we felt was crucial to his well being and safety. Then the time came that we felt we needed to consult with an attorney. It was then that we consulted with Jennifer Boughton and we knew the moment we met her that she was the perfect one for our difficult case. We knew we had a lot of work ahead of us and possibly losing our relationship we had with our grandson who is now 7 years old. But with her honesty, integrity and up most professionalism, we never gave up! When we doubted ourselves and wondered if this was even the right thing to do, she was right there lifting us up. She is not about the all mighty dollar, but what's in the best interest of a child. She has children of her own and when she hears of a child that has been hurt, you can see the compassion she has and she will work diligently to make sure that she has reviewed everything from head to toe and that her case is ready to present. Mike is the best attorney I have ever worked with. (And I have hired TONS of attorneys of all types). He has the experience to take your case through litigation and give you the voice to be heard. There are so many attorneys out there and it’s hard to pick one. He is by far the most professional. His legal skills are true artwork not many can master. A year and a half ago I filed for divorce and hired a cheap attorney not knowing anything about how difficult this journey would be that I was embarking on. After a month into my divorce I realized quickly that this would be immensely difficult and had doubts. In family law it is absolutely true that you get what you put in. I found Mike through word of mouth, another success story, and dropped the first attorney as fast as I could.
I am forever grateful I did.
My divorce was intensely complex with a multi-generational custody battle split four ways and Mike navigated through it all. He was always fair, always realistic and demonstrated integrity where the opposing council failed repeatedly. He represented me in hearing after hearing, mediation after mediation and finally a week long trial against two other attorney's and a pro-se. Brook was an amazing consultant in our legal matters regarding a minor in our household. She fought fairly but stood by us and up for us during the entire process. There are few attorneys who would jump in their car and drive 3 hours because they have to file in a court and want to make sure it gets hand delivered and signed. There are even fewer who would make the drive multiple more times for the sake of getting the matter handled quickly and efficiently. The most fair you could ask for in regards to her billing practices and her response time could not be beat. It is clear she is very sought after and busy but she makes you feel like you are her only client. I would highly recommend Brook to anyone needing legal assistance in the field of family matters.

I’m leaving this organization (2) stars. The second star came from you offering my $100.00 back after confirming with me you only work with “rich people” and not single mothers already struggling. The people seem nice and they respond to your concerns quickly….but if you ain’t rich this isn’t the law firm for you. My heart was broken when I begged them as a single mother to please work with me and I promise we could work out a realistic payment arrangement. Mr. Williams explained my case for child support and primary custody could possibly cost more than 4K. They also explained their retainer fees and how you’re billed for every call, text, email, or them touching your case. Lastly, per their organization direct response “I will advise you that if your retainer is depleted or you're retainer account ever has less than $1500, you will be asked to refill your retainer.” I advised them to go have a prayer with God and get back with me if they will accept 4K for my case and serve me as a client. I’m leaving you this long review because I’m an influencer as my side hustle and I want the world to see this and WAKE UP and realize money is the root of all evil! If God assigned you to be a lawyer he is trusting you with that higher level of authority to serve the people at your best ability. It’s 2025, times are hard I hope this is a wake up call for this organization to have a round table meeting and the subject should be “Do we really serve our people”? God bless these rich attorneys. May your money bring you happiness in this lifetime.

He got me an informal probationary period with the Judge. I didn’t have to pay my ticket as long as I slow down for a 6 month period and took an online defensive drivers course. Brad and his team helped me complete my divorce that had complex international and extenuating circumstances attached. Brad’s knowledge of Texas Divorce Law was second to none. He dealt with the court appearances with courtesy and grace whilst providing solid, respectful and expert counter arguments to opposing council. Brad (and Jeff) substituted in after a long drawn out process after filing (8 months) that got virtually NOWHERE with my previous attorney because she was MIA in both response time and counsel! Not only did Brad jump in, assess the situation and the proposed agreement my spouse and I had come to (absent counsel from previous attorney). Brad thoughtfully considered and acknowledged the spirit of what we were trying to accomplish, provided insight into potential drawbacks or areas of recommended clarification and focused exclusively on clarification of language vs. exorbitant revisions to the settlement documents (to put his mark on it) that would have further delayed finalization.
He was knowledgeable, professional, responsive and diligent (as was Jeff)-I highly recommend him.

I knew I wanted to hire Brad right after my initial consultation. I was going back to court for the second time over my child possession agreement and felt like I didn't have any options. Brad came to the table with three different effective solutions and took the time to explain in detail what each one meant. We were supplied a revised document from my x that had many holes in it. Brad took the time to explain why we had to add certain notes and even the smallest detail is crucial when protecting my rights. I learned more from him in a month than I had in 2 years with my last attorney. I'd highly recommend him.

From the first meeting I had with Whitney, I was comfortable and knew that I would be well taken care of throughout my case. I found myself in the unfortunate situation of being served a petition from one of those aggressive family lawyers. I met with Grady and hired him to defend me in this matter.
Grady took the time to fully understand the case and its nuances, and we met and discussed various legal strategies. The case took about a year to resolve due to various complicating factors including an overlapping issue in another court system that could have had corollary effects on the family case.
Throughout this time, Grady was unflappable. With his knowledge of the family law system and significant experience, Grady helped me navigate the various choices throughout the process. Additionally, Grady collaborated well with other attorneys helping to bridge the gap in styles.
His approach was very practical given his knowledge of what might work or not work depending on the circumstances. He conducted himself with a high degree of integrity and was never looking to do extra work just to over-bill me (which is oftentimes the case with divorce attorneys).
I am forever thankful for his work.

I don't even know where to start I have so much good to say about my experience working with Grant.
I was originally divorced in 2014 and have had 11 legal proceedings since the divorce. Attack after attack after attack from my ex. She had unlimited resources through her mom and used financial extortion tactics by hiring attorneys that could stage a better "performance" in court than the ones I had hired. Facts be damned I was punished over and over. It was disheartening because my kids were affected by all of this insanity and eventually pulled away from her and lived with me full time. They were 14 when this first started happening, and despite me having these kids full time she continued to attack me legally asserting that I had poisoned their relationship with her and alienated them from her. She knew because of the financial destruction she had caused me that I did not have the resources she did and wielded that as a weapon again and again.
When I finally had an option to fight back I was referred to Grant by a friend. HE WAS SUCH A BREATH OF FRESH AIR from the other attorneys I had worked with. It is obvious he loves what he does, he is enthusiastic, he genuinely cares about his clients, and he is a BULLDOG in the courtroom! A respectful but firm and incredibly detail oriented cross-examination of my ex completely unraveled her and created the opening I needed to get a Motion To Confer allowed by the judge for my kids. Grant, unlike the other attorneys I had in the past, fully embraced this option and pushed for it hard. The judge allowed the kids to visit privately with him, and after more than an hour with each kid exactly what I had wished for years happened. I was vindicated and the judge shut down every angle that my ex was using to come after me yet again a full 4 years after our divorce.
Grant helped me believe in the judicial system again. He also helped me believe that the right thing will eventually prevail if you have GOOD REPRESENTATION! Do not make the mistake of thinking that all attorneys are created equal. Grant was the perfect fit for my case. He is young and energetic and gave my case a massive shot in the arm. He has a team of other seasoned attorneys in his firm that worked together on my case, and his enthusiasm was the secret weapon. It was such an amazing experience having him represent me and my kids.

to the mess that my case had become: my daughter's life back, free from
a downward spiral of rulings that never should have been put in place.
Ms. Bennett and the firm of Orsinger, Nelson, Downing and Anderson picked up
my case at a time that i was certain that all I could hope for was a "not as bad as the worst",
but was still a horrible disruption to my daughter's life, as well as my entire family's;
essentially hopeless due to a series of events that i would have never imagined
to be possible for me as a single parent that had raised my daughter for her
