I have unfortunately been in family court too many times, but Wendy Wood is by far the best, most prepared, smart board certified family lawyer I have ever experienced, and one whom I can say earned EVERY dollar. If you want the best you are going to pay for it. In Wendy's case it is completely worth it. Her legal assistant Alanna is brilliant as well, and I would recommend her to anyone who can afford and wants the best. Many good family lawyer charge a lot. Wendy is great! As a father I was perfectly represented, and can say in every arduous step of the way we won, won, and won.

I was referered to Ms.Rowland by a another attorney who felt that she was a better fit for my case. My case started out as a CPS case with a protection order later added. Ms.Rowland on our 1st court date won and my custody order remained unchanged. Then instead of having to attend court the next day over a protective order she was able to get that withdrew and held mediation instead which resulted only in minimal changes. Ms.Rowland was always very upfront with me and always gave me the choices of very best outcome or the worst outcome. She was always a phone call away no matter the day or time. As a mother also she would sit and let me cry and just listen she truly understands and is truly all in with her clients. Her fees are reasonable and she explains that fully in your consultation. If you are in need of a family attorney and someone who will listen and fully represent you in court then Ms. Rebecca Rowland is your attorney.

I spent several weeks researching family law attorneys. I spoke with several of them by phone and even had a consultation with one. I was about to give up on my search and go it alone until I spoke with Rebecca Rowland. Our initial conversation by phone was very professional and she actually spent more time with me by phone then another attorney had done in a face to face consultation. She asked all the right questions and her compassion was genuine. When you discuss your case with her you know without a shadow of a doubt she knows family law! She was very honest about what I could and could not expect with my situation. She made sure we had both reviewed all aspects of the case and knew what outcome we wanted. Going through a divorce was the most painful and difficult event in my life to date, but more importantly the future of our daughter Marley was heavy on my mind. As a father/man I felt there was no hope for me seeing our daughter more than I was(few hours a week) and being a part of the decision making in her life due to the way my ex talked to me and threated me. This was a false idea in my head and they were patient and understanding towards my fears and concerns. Sarah, Hailey, Kaitlyn, Alex, and the whole team helped me through every step of the process. I was emotional over many parts of the divorce and they were calming when I needed it and direct with certain things when I need it. I applaud the entire team for being knowledgeable about family law. The divorce took 2+ years, but I was granted joint custody of our daughter with the final decision being mine to make if my ex and I can't agree about education, health, mental health, and other major life decisions for out daughter. I also was granted the right for my home address being where our daughter goes to school along with the the custodial parent's schedule. It was extremely tough to go through a final hearing/trail with a judge, but Sarah and her team were able to display the truth and facts about what was happening and ultimately provide our daughter with the most stable future possible. My ex-wife gave me an extremely contentious divorce through constant harassment, stalking, false allegations, false police reports and defamation. I just wanted to share that mr Beau Fiegal was the most caring and professional attorney I have ever met! He fought for me soo viciously! Thanks to him I am sole conservator for my children. I have a pending felony something I’m not proud of and on top of that my ex tried accusing me of abuse let me just tell you he got the abuse case dismissed! He was able to prove that he was laying!!! Melissa Smart and Springer law firm are not interested in finalizing a divorce but milking both parties of their funds. They will lead you to believe they are experts, but are only money driven and are very uneducated on anything financial. My ex used them and she lost at least $100K due to this law firm. I'm not disgruntled but their incompetence outside of sucking your wealth is comical.

As a Line Officer in the Navy with 16 years of service I can credibly assess that their operations are on point and well-greased. Holly and Chris are simply magic in the courtroom: expertly weaving their story on the floor and directing the flow of arguments.
What's more is that they take that extra level of care and customer service when you need it most, making critical calls and responses via email and phone at night and on the weekend should necessity dictate. The result is a pair that exhibits hybrid characteristics of both dedicated hired guns and personal friends and confidants. Kirker Davis advertises concierge level service, and it couldn't be more true.
My case started out very bleak, with multiple significant challenges and obstacles already established when I first walked into the Kirker Davis office. The mother of my son and I have been in court a year to date fighting over the custody of our 14 year old son. Once I got engaged and moved in with my fiance (now wife) she told me I couldn't see him again. Prior to my engagement I always had our son and his little brother (her child from a previous relationship) to help her out. I went from always seeing my son (prior to engagement), to never seeing my son, to eight hours a week on the weekend, to 50/50 in the summer time, to extended standard and now full custody.
Larry is an exceptional and well respected attorney. In the beginning I was so angry about what was going on and Larry advised me to keep my cool and let him "be the attorney". I hired Kayla for a child custody battle, she gave false promises and never followed through. She seemed more intent on trying to impress the judge than actually representing me and my case and guarding my legal rights. NOT aggressive with opposing counsel and very much rolled over to all their requests and demands. Had to hire another attorney to finish my case, had the initial work been done correctly it wouldn’t have been so difficult trying to undo the damage she had already done.

So I lived in a really really really bad neighborhood ran by some incredibly currupt,shady and just down right petty slum Lord scum bags that were trying to unlawfully evict me. He used excellent outside the box tactics to compel the best possible results to my case. It really was epic honestly my lack of sleep due to stress was a blessing because watching the man work it'd be very hard to not react like the audience of a roast who just witnessed a really good burn. Going through a divorce is not the time period where my head was clearest or my manners the most polite. I needed time without getting hit with a lot of calls.
Steve was available to me and not the other way around. This meant so much at a time not much respect was coming my way. When I needed him he would meet after hours and work on my case for as long as needed.
Steve is an attorney who is absolutely present when working on your case with you. He is very open and aware of the amount of time each different option will take, will cost.

There are several achievements requisite for one to be called a "tax attorney". First and foremost: a post Juris Doctorate LLM, or masters' degree, in taxation. Although there may be others, I found two real tax attorneys in Tyler, one of whom was Kacie Czapla, to whom I now refer clients; and her prior experience with Price-Waterhouse, one of the "Big Four" accounting firms, is just icing-on-the-cake.
Another plus was her husband, Ty. Ty tries cases, and a good trial attorney, given the facts, can try just about any case including tax cases. If a desk lawyer, even one with her/his LLM, threatens IRS with litigation, it knows he/she is bluffing. With Team Kacie and Ty, they know the threat is real, and that makes a difference.

After I interviewed 7 attorneys, I immediately hired Patricia. She could quickly catch the main points and understand my pursuit. She focused on clients’ needs and was willing to try it for me. She is very professional, listened to me and provided valuable ideas on how I should present my case to the court. She worked hard and even had a conference call with me on a weekend. Paula, the paralegal, is also very professional. She read all the documents I prepared. She read my Final Decree of Divorce and found more violations of my ex, which I had never known before. She was quick and efficient and always answered my questions in time. The fee is reasonable and may save more than others. They don't itemize the costs of each email or phone call, which may prevent you from communicating when in doubt. If you have any divorce or custody issue, I suggest you hire Patricia.
