Claudia saved my life! I met her at one of the lowest points in my life. My husband at the time left me with 2 kids, no family and/or financial assistance. I was far away from home. Claudia took a genuine interest in the lives of my children. She became my friend during a long custody battle. When things got tough,so did she! Vanessa and her team walked me through what was the most complicated circumstance of my life. When I shared the story of my circumstance, she asked many questions about home life behavior and immediately made recommendations to rule out other factors relevant to a divorce proceeding. The plan which was put in place uncovered information I was completely blind to and provided me the detail to begin the fight of my life... for my children.
She was responsive, timely and thoughtful. I found it also valuable that she looped in other members of the firm to assist in answering questions regarding criminal actions to help me take make decisions on actions to take.

I hired Ameet Habib several years ago when I was going through a divorce. Just recently I went through a custody battle with my ex over our teenage children and had Ameet represent me again. I am so thankful I did! He is so knowledgeable. He is honest, direct, yet still compassionate. I entered in a custody battle, asking for joint legal/physical custody, with no intentions of hiring a lawyer. I was lost, scared, and had no idea of what to do so I met with Mr. Habib for a consult. From the moment I met with him, he was very direct and to the point and I hired him. He never gave me false hope, did not lie, or hide anything. Mr. Habib would advise me of his professional opinion and then ask me what I wanted to do, so he did everything with what I wanted in mind. I am not very good speaking in court and I messed up with my words and he was able to fix my mess up. The GAL was against joint legal/physical custody and its very hard to convince the judge to rule against the GAL and Mr. Habib was able to persuade the judge that what I was asking for was in the best interest of my son. After trial, there was an appeal, before the appeal we were came to an agreement and part of that agreement was to withdrawal the appeal and when the other party did not follow through with their part of the agreement, Mr. Habib withdrew our part of the agreement in order to turn their hand to get them to follow through with their part of the agreement. Mr. Habib is a very intelligent lawyer and is very good at what he does. I would recommend him to anyone that is in need of a custody lawyer. He does everything he says and goes far and beyond to get things done. In the end, I got what I asked for and what my child needed, joint legal/physical custody without either party paying child support. Thank you so much for helping me get through something that means so much and that was so hard and scary.

Although he is extremely frank, Mr. Habib is Diligent, courteous and Considerate of what one may be going through. He is simply AMAZING! You get what you pay for! I often encountered Mr. Salvado in court while I was a law-enforcement officer. He always conducted himself professionally and ethically. He was always very knowledgeable. This review comes from someone that arrested people that Mr. Salvado defended. I always felt that Mr. Salvado really did have the best interest of his clients in mind and fought for them. That is a lot more than can be said about other attorneys who just want to settle cases and move on. Now that I am a small business owner doing business with Mr. Salvado and his entire practice has been at a delight. I consult with him about legal aspects of my business and he is always able to produce proper legal advice.

I never had to use a lawyer before this year. I am glad I chose Ben Rand for several reasons:
1- I did not understand the severarity of the case and the implications if would have on me in the long run
2-Ben made the legal process very easy to understand and put me at the ease the entire time

Ben is not just a lawyer, but he is a friend. He is very honest, even if it's not what you want to hear. He is respectful, and understands what's best for you, and your family. He is not one of those lawyers who will just take your money, and tell you anything. If it's a waste of time, and money he'll tell you. Mr. Rand has represented me several times, and I will be the first to say that He was worth every $$$$. It's hard to find good people now days. I cannot possibly have enough amazing things to say about Simon Marle and his entire staff. It’s not only about the lawyer, but the support and staff behind it for me. I called Simon’s office one night, over a year ago in desperation of where to turn and what to do. If you are not a lawyer, and you are involved in any kind of legal case, things can be very overwhelming and knowing what steps to take can be tricky. I called around 6pm and Simon Marle, himself answered the front desk phone. I was very thrown off, because typically lawyer/attorneys will not handle those kinds of matters. He gave me a free consultation about 20-25 minutes on my case. Was VERY straightforward, honest, and to the point. I put my trust in him, and I have NOT been disappointed in any way. His staff, Taylor, Samantha, and Lisa truly care about the clients and really spend their time being personal with you. I love that they address me by name and not by “client”. Samantha has bent over backwards to contact other parties for me and you can tell she put’s her time into her job. She is always on top of it, super respectful and goes above and beyond. Not one time, have I been brushed off or felt like I was being annoying or I have been to well over 5-7 court hearings with Simon. Each time we have gone, it has been a complete satisfactory outcome IF not more. Simon has always been a very caring and honest man. It is really hard to find people now that do not take advantage, or who really just do not spend time with your case. He personally will pull out a file and go line by line with you and explain and questions, details you may have missed or anything you do not understand. I think for me, the best is that it runs as a family unit, and when you are dealing with family courts/judicial issues, having the same mindset in your company, reflects when the clients are in person. He is affordable and I am so very grateful that I decided to go with him. I recommend him to ANY and all my friends and family who ask for recommendations. Simon has had experience in this for decades, and you can tell because his presence in court is respected very much not only by the judges and the staff but also by the other attorneys. Anyone I have ever asked in regards to him, has had nothing but positive things to say. He will not let you be stepped on in court, and he puts time and effort into every case he has. I can see that he is passionate about his career and what he does for people. Simon has been a major influence and change in my families life and we will forever be thankful for him and his entire staff.

I couldn't believe what had just happened to me, I was accused of a felony for shoplifting. No matter how I tried to explain the situation,I was ridiculed and mocked. I felt helpless and scared then I had a free consultation with Simon. Talking to him was easy and I knew I wanted him on my side. I talked to my husband about the consultation and we wasted NO time hiring him.
A visit to his office to discuss my situation, he immediately found an error in the paperwork from the police. Simon was so on top of the case. He put me at ease.
We went to court and he didn't let any the store security get away with anything. I'm not sure we were even in front of the judge 15 minutes when my case was dismissed !! I hope I never have to go to court again but if I should. You better believe I will have Simon next to me. There aren't words to discribe my gratitude .

We may have lost a battle but we won the war, with that being said, Ms. Nace was very straight forward. She provided with her team, a family feeling from the team. She went above and beyond for my case with listening to everything I had to say. Every time I would call or send an email I would get a fast response and a honest one. The reason I choose this law firm was due to me speaking to someone a few years back at the firm and based on the phone conversation was the reasoning in reaching out again because I felt good vibes through a phone call that made me know they weren't here for anything other then the best for me. I hired Lindsay for a divorce case, and a protective order case. I was in a really bad place when I came to Lindsay I was fighting false allegations of family abuse. She was able to help me through my divorce retaining my visitation rights and got the protective order dismissed. I really thought things were hopeless but after working with her she was able to show the courts what was really going on. I started my divorce process with a lawyer who did not litigate, first of all because I felt that lawyer was highly qualified, but also because I believed that it would be best to try to mediate the settlement for the benefit of myself, my now ex, and for our three children. Unfortunately, and after nearly two years of trying, it became clear that my wife preferred the scorched earth approach and that I needed to hire a litigator. My lawyer recommended that I turn to Sarah Kuhns for the help I needed to bring things to closure.
Sarah quickly understood the dynamics of my case and brought to it her knowledge of negotiating under the threat of litigation. It was a much different approach than I had been trying to date, but Sarah had a detailed understanding of the litigation process as well as a great insight as to how decisions would be made if the case went to court. She provided me with excellent advice on when to accept a part of the other side’s offer, when to reject it, and when to press for my position. She offered advice and counsel and allowed me to make the decisions based on her input. Her understanding of some of the more complex aspects of my case were infinitely helpful to me, and when there was an issue where she had an industry contact to consult, she consulted them on my behalf.
As painful as the process was given my ex-wife’s approach, we were able to come to an agreement at the eleventh hour and arrive at a settlement before facing the judge. When all hope was lost I stumbled upon Mrs. Crawford through a google search. I had no idea of the firm or her excellence specifically. I had, up to this point, my other sought after representation fail me miserably and had been misguided and unruly dealt with by the Chesapeake Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court on multiple occasions. I had literally given up hope in that I would never get to be apart of my sons life the way that I wanted to be. With having already spent a great deal of time and money in the matter I was just drained physically, mentally, and financially. For any father who has dealt with our broken system, its supposed ultimate 'judges of character,' and their puppets, you will know that it is not an easy road to travel. With the encouragement of a few and with nothing to lose I went for it one last time. The day I sat down with her in the quiet and rather small but warming confines of her office I explained and expressed to her in probably a quite disgruntled way, as perceived by Mrs. Crawford, my situation. All my insecurities changed within the 30 minutes I was there, of course I was not entirely sold yet but that was just the beginning. Skipping forward to the best part; Now my relationship with my little boy is stronger than ever and so is he, academically, mentally, physically, and socially. I am not saying that Mrs. Crawford can work miracles, you have to go to her with a good foundation in yourself and the reasons for your requests but she definitely takes care of it from there. Laura is the type of attorney that you see on television shows like "Law and Order." She's a formidable opponent, and extremely logical and rational.
