Mr. Everts represented me in a very difficult divorce about 10 years ago. It involved AZ law, International law, and another State's law for a prenup. He was able to maneuver through all of it succinctly and accurately. Highly qualified and I was in very good hands in my representation. I do not believe my divorce would have handled as well if I hired another lawyer, as he truly researched and figured out all the aspects of this complicated case.

Extremely thorough and offered complimentary consult when most seasoned attorneys with his tenure would charge a minimum of $150 - $200 /hr. I was impressed he requested additional material to review/ consider to provide a more thoughtful analysis of my case. No denying Steven is an expert and sincerely appreciated his time.

I hired Mr everts to be my attorney for a divorce modification child support, & custody. long story short he didn't catch something and something they told me all along they would do could no longer be done because I had not done my paperwork incorrectly. He was hired as my attorney and even had me correct the child support worrsheet but blamed me for his error in not catching it. I did file a complaint with the AZ STATE Bar and because this was a mistake I was advised to look for a legalmalpractice lawyer because he cost my son close to $35,000 in back child support that we could not get because he made a mistake not me. I will be building a webpage to post my story, in the end at my child support pre hearing with my x attorney in the room, and the end my x first words out of his mouth where him thanking my attorney. Justice was not served and this momma is on fire with what he put us though. My son is special needs and he did not advocate for me for him like he was hired to do so. DO not hire them!

Don’t even bother with this place, they’ve been giving my dad the run around for over a year and it’s sick, he tore his ACL at a restaurant and it’s excuses after excuses. This time they have a problem getting in contact with their insurance? When they’re a big law firm? It’s a joke honestly, they wouldn’t call us for months for any updates. We would call constantly just to see what’s going on, definitely don’t recommend. I wouldn’t even give them any stars

She could care less about anything but collecting money. She comes to court completely unprepared and will just sit in the Court and not defend you at all. She forget to bring important document to the hearing. She will not listen to her client, difficult to work with and refused to do what she was paid to do. She has her own opinions about you and make her own judgments. She does not represent her clients as an attorney should. She just like to sit in her office and too old to defend you specially when it comes to defending against younger attorney. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR. Go elsewhere.

Unethical scam artists that regularly get disbarred and only care about billable hour$. If you’re not racking up hour$, even after telling them about your budget, they’ll drop you right before trial and leave you unrepresented. Need your files? Too bad, pay your ransom.
They schedule appointments against your will and charge you anyways, even after telling them you didn’t agree to it. They’ll backpay themselves when you weren’t represented by them and chit chat about the weather to bloat the hour$.
They’ll also whisper into their recording device “No client-attorney privilege”, before asking questions around other unknown people, outside of their office. Don’t like that? Go unrepresented or write a blank check.

I have used the services of Rich Peters and his colleagues for approximately 18 years. He has (1) secured my legal separation and 18 years later the dissolution of the marriage; (2) successfully defended my stepdaughter in a child custody dispute; and (3) set up a legal guardianship for our granddaughter. In all of these cases, he delivered the results that I expected with professionalism and care. He is a good communicator who gave sound legal advice and explanations of what to expect in the execution of these cases. I hope I do not need any future family-related legal services, but if I do, I know who to contact.

rich peters and his team never fought for me or my family - in fact they were supposed to register a family court order in arizona and never did but still kept collecting my money while arizona NEVER had jurisdiction- a couple of attorneys failed to keep my family safe but the last one Sophia realllllly messed up by not adequately protecting my address from my abuser and stalker - an address that was never meant to be handed over to him - she allowed the judge to mistreat me and did not represent me at all. i even told her things were not being handled properly and she assured me she could do better - she did not. Rich peters has ignored my emails for MONTHS now but still has no problem demanding payment - a payment i will never send - i believe i am owed my money back in FULL - now that you are back in the country mr peters i do expect a reply

Upon my initial meeting I found Sarah competent in my divorce and financial divorce struggles. It wasn’t long after that she was intimated by me ex-husbands counsel and no longer represented me as I paid thousands and thousands for. I overheard her with opposing counsel belittling me while I was waiting for a scheduled meeting, that I paid for. Sarah then failed to show up to hearings as a competent attorney. She never raised when the Judge spoke etc. I had evidence in my case that she should have submitted and she never did even after asking her to. I was a victim of extreme domestic abuse that she discounted. My ex husband was jailed as a fugitive from justice in Columbus, Georgia. She never brought gun t any of that into the courtroom. Instead, I had to pay my abuser fees on his false claims. She told me that she specialized in getting children back…then told me that financial divorces were not her specialty. Being upfront and 25k later. Also, she referred me to another financial attorney that required a 10 k retainer.

Sarah was compassionate while being straight forward and to the point. She doesn’t mince words and gets the job done! Seems like a reputable law firm with good reviews, however the staff hired is a direct reflection of the company, and their current front desk receptionist Kayla Bates came to my place over the weekend in my parking lot smoking weed and threatening to fight me and asking me if I want to come downstairs and get beat up over a man. A woman she knows is pregnant. What type of professionalism is that? I called and spoke to the executive team Holly and Tammy and was assured they would address the issue with said staff.

Steven jumped right into the mess I had made after filing for child support and full custody by myself. The dad had never been around and wanted full custody now that I was making my full custody legal on paper. This attorney did not help me thoroughly with my battle against mother. Even tho mother was in contempt for many things and I wanted to obtain full decision making. Mr. Sufrin made me settle to agreements with opposing party when he could of potentially gone to trial and fight for what was right for this case. Now mother is back in contempt of other things when this could attorney could of performed better. I ended paying Mr. Sufrin more than 4 grand for a lousy settlement. DO NOT HIRE HIM.

My husband and I retained Carissa to represent us in the case against his ex-wife and while the retainer was on the expensive side, we do not regret it. Carissa is a fabulous attorney and she is amazing at what she does. You can tell she loves her job and really cares about her clients and their families. She was honest with us and told us the "not so ugly truth" sometimes but that is what makes a great attorney. She kept us in the loop and returned our calls and emails (but also did not waste attorney time on unnecessary phone time). Some may say that she (or her law office) is expensive but you get what you pay for. And it was money WELL spent. I would recommend her and Jaburg Wilk to everyone and I have recommended her to friends, just as she was recommended to us by a friend.

Ms. Tsakanikas handled my matter which was years old with a file size that was ridiculous. Thousand of dollars I spent over a decade past in legal fees with NO results the matter went into a holding pattern till my son was becoming age 18. Now with the matter having been moved to Pima county from Gila by the other party and seeking FINAL closure Ms. Tsakanikas took on something that is more unbelievable than a fiction novel. Anyhow in standard fashion from years before the selected opposing councel (Guy Keenan esq) was anything but cooperative. This I had become use to as any attorney the other party retained it was with instruction to NOT GIVE and INCH.
Anyhow the final outcome was something I am satisfied with as I was not over billed (as has happened with other attorneys). Ms. Tsakanikas KNEW the family law pertinent to my matter which was a BIG plus compared to what opposing counsel was attempting. Thus final score I win, they loose. The only one really paying the absolute price here was my son, Mom kept him away from me and that time can never be replaced.

I acquired Joe for family services. I was divorced already with a child. The other party kept refusing to do what was ordered by the judge so needless to say the outcome was beneficial for me.
I did not only use Joe for the family circumstances. Without his expertise I can honestly say, I would have been given a harsher outcome. Comparing what I was sentenced to what it could have been it blows my mind.

My response: I understand what you are saying. I understand how the law works. My review is based on morals and common respect, in which I felt lacked from Dori. While her team was friendly, she could not act the least bit interested in anything not pertaining to her. The amount of money she “took” and how minimum she did, …..or rather didn’t do—-made it impossible to ignore the injustice. It also made me see how easy representing yourself is, which I did -& won. Carrie Cravatta is unethical, lazy, will show up to appointments unprepared, cares more about discussing her vacations (European vacations, cruises) than discussing your case. She will take your money, tell you all the things she will do, ultimately not doing them leaving you wondering what it is she did. Run away, this woman is a wrecking ball and will make your life worse off.
Follow up. Per the request of Carrie’s partners I reached out to discuss my concerns and the basis for my negative review. We spoke for roughly an hour and a half (lots to discuss!) That was weeks ago we spoke, appears the call was nothing more than a dog and pony show, I have heard nothing further, this law group likely continues their unethical, lazy, criminal like activities. Carrie’s partners should fire her so they don’t wreck what the partners are building, it shows a lot about this group that she is still employed and a partner.

While her team was friendly, she could not act the least bit interested in anything not pertaining to her. Carrie Cravatta is unethical, lazy, will show up to appointments unprepared, cares more about discussing her vacations (European vacations, cruises) than discussing your case. She will take your money, tell you all the things she will do, ultimately not doing them leaving you wondering what it is she did. Run away, this woman is a wrecking ball and will make your life worse off.
Follow up. Per the request of Carrie’s partners I reached out to discuss my concerns and the basis for my negative review. We spoke for roughly an hour and a half (lots to discuss!) That was weeks ago we spoke, appears the call was nothing more than a dog and pony show, I have heard nothing further, this law group likely continues their unethical, lazy, criminal like activities. Carrie’s partners should fire her so they don’t wreck what the partners are building, it shows a lot about this group that she is still employed and a partner.

Ms. Pahl was my opposing attorney. I initially consulted her on my ex husbands behalf. Eventually I hired my own attorney. She frequently came to court unprepared and requested numerous continuances causing the divorce to run nearly five years. What was most disconcerting is that she lied three times to the Judge while the evidence countering her claims were part of the exhibits. She has a knack for changing course which led to more new pleas, continuances and then later she would remove said requests. Her peers describe her tactics as "throwing everything against the wall, right or wrong, then seeing what sticks". Her services will cost a lot of money with very little results.

Glenn worked with me to help get custody of my children. He discussed all aspects of the case and made sure I knew everything that could and couldn’t happen. I have used Glenn for a few years ... yes, years.
I am a single father to an only child and my ex and I have equal custody; but as these things go, as she has aged and life has become more about power and control (and gasp, money), I found myself increasingly defending myself against frivolous claims ... not wanting to lawyer-up for simple paperwork, I'd prepare all of my own documents and then use the one-hour consulting offer from Glenn to make sure I wasn't going to make a bad mistake.
After a couple of years, and dealing with an onslaught of legal filings, I bit the bullet and decided to go the "retainer" route with Glenn and his practice ... figured it was worth the cost to make all of the aggravation and emotions someone else's problem.
It was well worth it as I was able to relax knowing I had someone very professional, experienced and competent taking care of everything for me ... I can't say I "won" but I certainly didn't lose and my life (and my child's) are so much better with all of this behind us ... and all of this is because I trusted Glenn and his firm.
We have two more years until my child turns 18, and while I hope I never have to see Glenn again, I won't hesitate retaining him again if ever I find the need!
