I attempted to work with attorney Da Silva on a post divorce, contempt of court case which ended up taking several months with no progress. Much of my retainer went towards her reading my msgs asking for an update, msgs trying to contact her after not hearing from her for more than a month, or callsdiscussing information I had already provided to her. Some of my emails received a response but many did not, although I received invoices for her reading of my msgs. Twice, I received invoices for the same actions that I had already paid for and had to contact the office to bring this to attention of her legal assistant. When calling her office in an attempt to contact Ms. Da Silva, I was often told she was on vacation. I was informed by my ex that his attorney also had difficulty making contact with attorney Da Silva. I contacted her office multiple times, in writing and by phone, asking that my case be reassigned to another attorney due to lack of progress. My case was not transferred and I was assured that Ms. Da Silva would attend to my case. ln the end, she provided me with information I already had and no progress was actually made. I was left to find a new attorney. Finallly, Ms. Da Silva and her legal assistant refused to provide me with a written statement of how my retainer was spent, although I made several requests for this information. My requests for any remaining funds from my retainer were also ignored.

Hi all, I just wanted to take a moment to send my appreciation to the team and importantly JB Harris. Almost a year into my case we have had little to no movement due to a stalling opposition trying to drain all resource's and provide some impossible tasks. JB has been nothing short of a light at the end of the tunnel which has been very hard for me to see these past few months. After seeing JB in action today I now see why I hired your firm and felt a slight relief for the first time in a long time. We defeated their motion to dismiss which is a large victory in terms of going forward. I believe and I believe JB does as well, that the wheels of justice all though slow will prevail. My wife and I had a horrible experience using this law firm to prepare legal documents for us prior to our marriage. Their drafts are extremely sloppy with inaccurate data and misspellings all over the place. They likely offshore the preparation work because honestly who would misspell "Home Depot" or the name "Michael" multiple times in a legal document (and where is the review by a paralegal???). The most ridiculous part is they charge the clients for revisions to these careless mistakes. Sorry, but why are WE paying for YOUR mistakes??!?!?
After our legal documents were finalized we had to chase them around to get a refund of the retainer. Again they charged us for the time it took for them to email us back (again why are WE paying for YOUR internal issues?). FINALLY after 3 months of the documents being finalized we got the final refund and we are at the point where we don't even want to bother arguing with them over the frivolous charges.
We don't mind paying for high quality service, but their lack of quality and difficultly to deal with doesn't justify any price. STAY AWAY and watch your invoices because they will ROB you blind.

I researched many attorney profiles, backgrounds. But, there was only 1 whose sincerity was palpable. That was Joshua S. Danz. He listened to Me patiently for 45 minutes. Jeevan was a great lawyer! My case wasn’t too serious; I basically got a speeding ticket. From the moment he took my case he was very attentive, kind, and polite. Our conversations were only over the phone, however, he was always very friendly and clearly was interested in making his clients feel as comfortable and heard as possible while using his service. We even talked a bit about life! All our conversations were great.
In terms of the service itself, he kept me in the loop about everything before and after the trial without having to get me super nervous or involved. I literally just carried on with my life as he figured it out. Rohom possesses knowledge, a high EQ, and a drive towards outcomes... combine that with ethics and integrity and you have the perfect attorney - and dare I say a priceless one.
We were able to come to resolutions probably faster than some others in my situation, because of Rohom's ability to work well and sensibly with all parties (it certainly helped that all parties were genuinely interested in reaching a resolution).
He and April are responsive and their availability matches the urgency. That my situation wasn't urgent at all and we still managed to get things resolved in a short period of time is a blessing.
Rohom is a treasure - and for that I would be judicious in my recommendations as he deserves to work with mature, fair, and reasonable clients.

Bait you in with care and open arms to evidence all while draining your retainer and waiting for the perfect moment to request for more money. I don’t have enough kind words to say about Ashley Bustamante. My divorce was very difficult and challenging in many different ways for almost two years and Ashley never wavered, her calm confidence and caring supporting me on many occasions when things were just becoming too much. Her deadly weapon is having an extremely likable manner while at the same time being extremely persuasive and logical clearly painting a picture in the judges mind of even the most complex issues. At every hearing and the trial where she represented me, every single time she got the judge to see it from our point of view and agree with our position ruling accordingly. This law firm does not care don’t waste your time contacting them if you have a case of bad faith or car liability determination. this is the response they gave “ Unfortunately, we do not handle property damage cases.” although their website clearly states they do handle these cases. these florida law firms are a joke and only see you as $$$ if you got injured otherwise they don’t care

Was very thrilled to read the outstanding reviews. Helping a friend of mine I began calling around & I reached out. I was shocked when they told me ( within the 1st 60 seconds) $500 for a consultation and a $20k retainer fee upfront before accepting any type of child custody or parental rights case. Such a shame the kids in moderate to low income situations will never have the benefit of representation from such a great law firm. One more thing money CAN buy; your child's rights.

While I understand the message of " you get what you pay for " that you are trying to convey, that message has no bearing on my original review or interaction with this firm. In fact, I feel like this response just confirms my original statement.
Once the well rehearsed statement of upfront fees was given ( the next statement after the greeting ) perhaps a mention of how to find affordable options, self help libraries or alternative resources available for families in need would have made me feel like that paragraph you wrote about giving back to the community ( for reasons outside of gain) would be true and this review wouldn't exist.
I would like to remind you I still give credit to the talent in this firm. I called here for a reason. Reviews are about experiences you have with the location or business & this was mine. I am not the only one who has experienced this. I hope sharing my experience may give us all a voice and, in a perfect world, make a small change for the better.
