I have a hearing in 1 week . They originally scheduled a consultation for me last week with Erin, but cancelled it due to the power outage . Today when I called at scheduled time they told me that I don’t have an appointment, then later they said that it’s with a different attorney ( which I wasn’t aware of ) . I said that no one told me that that it was scheduled with a different lawyer, but I still agreed to speak with them. Assistant placed me on hold and then she told me that I need to call my legal insurance to let them know that it won’t be a good fit . When I asked why - the receptionist told me it’s because of my tone of the voice and dissatisfaction during our conversation .

I contacted Mr. Reissman regarding my Chapter 7 bankruptcy and expressed various concerns about my case. Marshall promptly addressed these issues, providing solace in a naturally stressful situation. The communication with his office has been exceptional, arguably the finest I've experienced with any law firm. Although I realize I'm not their sole client and callbacks may require time, the staff and Mr. Reissman appear to be remarkably proactive in their communications with clients.
During my case, I was consistently informed about the proceedings and the necessary information I had to submit.
Thanks to Marshall and his excellent team, I was able to navigate through my bankruptcy and move forward, which has brought significant relief.

This firm.files lawsuites about cases they nothing about. They misinform the court with lies. Thry schedule hearings withoit notifying opposing attorneys and they harass the people they sue by srnding them.letters and not their attorneys. They lie to other attorneys and tell them thst they are dismissing cases and they keep them active so the person they are suing doesnt respond. A real.sleaze bag firm.

Ryan Peters received payment for his services in full, he failed to show up for scheduled court dates, lied to me and the courts, my case was lost by default due to failure to respond or show up, he then refused to provide me an accounting of the work little he preformed and basically stole my payment. This man has no morals, conscience, or concern for anyone. He violated his oath of admission to the Florida Bar.

Ryan thoroughly reviewed the proceedings with me before the hearing to ensure my understanding and prepare me for what may be asked. Ryan’s extensive preparation and knowledge in family law became apparent during the case when he was able to promptly respond to questions and statements made by the judge and/or opposing counsel. Lastly, I am so thankful to say that we were granted our relocation request! Oh, and I cannot forget to mention his assistant, Sarah. I first hired Wendy to help me in my divorce. It was a tough one and she was great. I had problems with my ex after the divorce and had to go back to court. I called Wendy right away. Just like the first time around, she listened to me, talked to me and I got another great outcome. If my ex gives me trouble again, I will call Wendy. Can't get any better than the best!

Though there are no winners in Family Court, Ryan does exactly as he says with the children's best interest at heart!!! He has been more than open and honest about what we should file, if it's needed or a waste of my money, time, results etc... He always answers his phone and gets back to you very timely. My previous atty of 8 years would never have been so forthright! I definitely recommend Ryan Hamilton!!!!!

My mom and I had the displeasure of talking with Cynthia Nunn from Leighton Law to discuss going after Orlando Health for their negligence in treating my dad's cancer, which led to his passing. Not only did she make us relive our nightmarish story that we had already submitted online, she wasted our time by shutting us down immediately. If she was going to say no, why make us relive the trauma? To add insult to injury, she was actually defending the negligent doctors in question and straight up told us that our loved one was going to die anyway. Whether that was true or not, you do not just say that so nonchalantly to other people. You would not like that if someone said that about your dad. I am almost glad they did not take our case because I would rather deal with the devil himself than deal with Cynthia and Leighton Law after the added emotional damage she did to us.

When I called Kendra to ask if she could help with a prenuptial agreement, she basically laughed at me like I was an idiot because I was calling on short notice. I felt like she was chastising, and belittling. That was my opinion of her at least. Needless to say a found a different family law attorney who was able to help and didnt give me an attitude like I should have known better. I can not say I would or wouldn't recommend her, but I will say that she was a very rude and condescending woman.

I needed an attorney that could cut through the "games" played during a divorce and provide intelligent guidance leading to a fair settlement. I wasn't looking for someone to assist me with a one-sided arrangement. Fair is fair... and I insisted upon it.
Kendra was excellent at keeping me centered and grounded (and patient even when the ex clearly wanted to drag things out). There were a couple of times that I needed to be firmly brought "back on track" to stay out of trouble - and Kendra was very effective at communicating this message to everyone.
While I don't wish a divorce on my worst enemy... I'd definitely recommend Kendra to anyone seeking solid family legal advice.

Abigail Beebe and her legal team were very professional throughout the course of my divorce. I live out of state , so Abigail was referred to me through a friend of mine. We actually never met face to face. My divorce should have been pretty straightforward, as there were not a lot of assets involved, but it dragged on for a year and a half. Whatever materials that were requested I always promptly provided, whatever questions I had Abigail and her team responded in a timely manner, and I was not billed unnecessarily. The most deceitful, dishonest, unethical human being I've ever met.
Not only will she outright lie, she will go so far as to attack the children involved!! My Bible tells me that there is a special punishment reserved for those who do harm to children. A millstone & being tossed into the sea is mentioned specifically. This type of abusive behavior most certainly qualifies.
She has no moral compass & will resort to the sleeziest methods just to win. Lying and manipulation are just part of who she truly is.
I am personally filing an ethics complaint with the Florida Bar.
If you value honesty & have an honest love of children and doing the right thing, avoid her at all costs.

I hired Eric in July 2023. He was the only lawyer who would take my case. I'm so grateful he did and had the courage to take on the case. It was a pretty strong case in my favor, yet he still had to be crafty with certain decisions to ensure my outcome. Sometimes, it appeared he was a bit scatter brain, but as a one man show, it's understandable, and after a few minutes of talking, he would know who I was. That didn't bother me, though. He made many suggestions and most were accepted by me. When I felt we should do something different, he gave me his input, but ultimately went with my decision. At the time of the case, the Good Dad Act was passed and put into law here in Florida. He did not know about this. I think doctors, mechanic, lawyers, etc, should remain up-to-date with current info relative to their line of work so they always have the edge. He said that new law doesn't change anything in terms of what we need to do and how we would argue the case. He has handled many cases and, based on my facts, made the necessary recommendations, which ultimately turned out in a win for me and him. I now have shared custody of my daughter, but she has to live with me instead of mom the majority of the time. His price was much better than most in town. He was aggressive with his approach, which I appreciated. The case was resolved April 2024. Thank You Eric for your hardwork. I would recommend you to others.

Will not take my calls and will not return calls. A very poor excuse for an attorney in my opinion. I can not even fathom how or why he is an attorney. I hired Ms Moore to represent me in obtaining retirement from divorce decree. Also Ms Moore was expected to find out if life insurance was still in effect as per the divorce decree. Not only was she unable to do either one, I ended up losing my permanent alimony & thousands of dollars paid to her by having to borrow from credit card and wiped out savings Get another lawyer.

Meshelle Snyder was attorney for my son in a child custody dispute. After many weeks, many hours of collecting data, and a few thousand dollars, everything he had asked for became lost in the shuffle. In the end it was recommended that he not get the courts involved in his family affairs. If that were her viewpoint, it probably should have been thousands of dollars sooner. Many years later, my grandson’s life is a mess.

I hired Tayane Oliveira with the expectation that she would help mediate a family matter and simplify the process. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Instead of streamlining the issues, Tayane's approach only made matters more complex and resulted in significant expenses. It felt as though her focus was more on benefiting financially rather than genuinely assisting her client. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend her for simple legal services. I was forced to file a motion to withdraw her legal expense at additional costs.

If you have a small-potatoes, run-of-the-mill divorce, go ahead and hire her. If you need someone on top of their game and aggressive, go elsewhere. She did not respond to e-mails, did not send me copies of correspondence, ignored deadlines, and became snarky and nasty when her methodology was questioned. Cost me thousands and reaped me hundreds.

He sold me a dream so I sent him a retainer and I hen everything changed. Andrews all of a sudden could do nothing to help my problems. My Ex actually got everything she had asked for before I hired Andrew and I ended up paying her legal fees as well. Andrew left town and had me deal with his assistant and I asked her to reach out to the other attorney and she refused to do so, come to find out they did not sign the contract because Andrew spelt her name wrong, so I spent $1000 that week begging them to call the other attorney and they refused. I actually had to figure it out with my ex or Andrew would still be charging me thousands of dollars to do nothing. When the contract was finally signed they never checked the my ex was off my title of my house or anything, just took their money a stopped responding. I emailed him and said I would be stopping by his office to talk to him about finishing this deal up and he told me I was not allowed and that he would call the police on me if I showed up. Truly a horrible experience and would have been better off not having an attorney verse’s hiring him, total loser of an attorney would not recommend him to my ex or worst enemy.

I just got off the phone with Jennifer Darley's secretary jessica, whom I will say is a very rude person and not helpful at all. I called into the office 2 1/2 months ago and paid an OUTRAGEOUS $300 consultation with Mrs. Darley only to be rescheduled 3 times, and when I did finally speak with her.......it was for 10 min. She asked me to gather paperwork from my children's school, which I did, and then submit it to her office. I was told by Jennifer herself she would contact me back and never did. Contacted her office on July 26 and was promised i'd be contacted back by Monday to no avail. As matter fact i was told by jessica that jennifer might not even take my case anyways and she had to contact her about it. When I contacted her office this morning and asked for a refund I was told no and hung up on after I said she was rude and I'd be contacting the bar against her. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE. My license is now suspended for child support and my life upside down in a sense in that area. KATHRYN BENNETT AND MS. They are a very kind and caring staff very great attorneys if you're looking for the best family attorney in Marion county then this is definitely them just know the best comes with a cost if you want a cheap attorney go somewhere else but don't expect great results when you go cheap. If I could give less than one star, I would. Jamie is all too happy to take money, but not happy to be held accountable for the job for which you hire her. She and another lawyer screwed me and my kids, and when I begged and pleaded for her to fix it, make it right. She told me it wasn’t going to affect me and she didn’t know why I was worried about it (see attached email response). To this day, it does affect me, and my children, and she simply didn’t care to make it right after happily accepting thousands of dollars. I am still dealing with a case that she didn’t fix and reached out again to try to have her resolve but she doesn’t even bother to answer. I had to file a bar complaint for her to respond only for her to tell me she feels she did her job. If that were the case why doesn’t the state recognize the order she filed and why won’t she fix it? This lawyer has no integrity, so if you want someone who will take your money and offer no help, this is the lawyer you want. She is overpriced and doesn’t even do her job. It’s a wonder she hasn’t be disbarred.

There was a constant lack of communication but the 3 biggest problems were #1) changed her hourly billing, one month after retaining her and then when I asked about it, I received no reply. #2) Told the judge in court that the reason she lacked information on my case is because she just received the case when she had the case for 4 months prior. #3) I was not even informed of a case management hearing that I had until it was over and couldn’t participate. At this point, I don’t know whether to consider this maltreatment racist or negligent. Her paralegal, Kathie Summa was god awful and argumentative whenever approached with any concerns. This is an honest review from my very REAL experience with ICard Merrill. I understand that everything can not go my way in a case but there is a level of professionalism and transparency that should be handled with any business, that was not done with ICard Merrill.
