I hired Kenneth Kaplan to help with me with a very complicated divorce case. A number of attorneys preceded him and were unable to make any forward progress: in fact, a couple of them only served to make things worse. He reviewed over 1000 pages of case files and quickly had a thorough understanding of the issues. The case involved custody of a minor child and a number of financial matters. I found Mr. Kaplan to be a consummate professional who not only took pride in his work but also cared about the outcome of the proceedings. He was easy to get hold of and always returned my phone calls promptly. His advice and court action were always based in fact and tempered by financial practicalities. His advice created appropriate expectations and oftentimes served to dampen down my desire to move forward in a manner based more on my emotions than on my intellect. In the end, I avoided useless court time and unnecessary fees. The results he obtained for me on every level have been wonderful, a real blessing. Attorney Bert Barclay and his team represented me in my case and I am SO grateful for their support. Mr. Fisher is a phenomenal attorney. I have been battling with my ex-husband for YEARS in regards to custody of my two boys, and the previous attorneys I have hired did little to nothing to help our situation. My ex-husband informed me he was intending on relocating due to military orders, and he was going to try to take our two boys with him. I called Mr. Fisher and not only did he lend a sympathetic ear, but he hit the ground running with our case. He is extremely patient, knowledgeable, disciplined, and strategic. Where the opposing party's attorney was focused on trying to be aggressive and attack me and my position, Mr. Fisher was calm and collected, caught every little detail and focused on what was in the best interest of the children. Needless to say, we won our case (pretty flawlessly, as there was nothing in favor of the father) and my children are (happily) staying here with me. I faced a complex divorce that lasted over two years. My first attorney lacked the necessary experience for my case, and my second was nearing retirement and often unavailable or on vacation. As a result, I found myself approaching a trial date without adequate representation. Fortunately, Terry stepped in at a critical moment. Most attorneys would shy away from taking on a case with such little preparation time, but Terry confidently and quickly assessed my situation and provided a resolution in just one hour.

The law firm took a team approach and while most of my case was expertly handled by Terry DeSalvo Jr, along with his efficient paralegal Michelle Wilson, I was also helped on a number of occasions by Alex Peterson. I can only say, with all my heart, thank you very much! I came to see Attorney Marilyn Colon's after having hired two different attorneys who I felt were not representing me to their best extent.
On the first visit, I saw how professional attorney Colon was and as well as her team. She was surprised by the situations in my case and I remember her reassuring words; "You are a good father and you will have time that you deserve with your daughter."
She took all of my information about my case and started working right away. The first thing she did was send several friendly proposed agreements to the opposing attorney to avoid unnecessary expenses and as to not continue wasting time. This showed me that she was an honest professional and that she did not want to take my case just for the money. She knew the other attorney very well so she organized a great defense for my case.
In a matter of days, I began to see results. Her style of work was flawless. We began to defend ourselves from the other party's attacks with great precision.

I had been using Mr. Cripps from the time my son was 2 for my initial divorce and child support and his fathers indiscretions until he was 13. Never once did he promise me ANYTHING! There were times I felt so frustrated and wondered what the hell he was doing? Why wasn’t he ordering drug tests? Why wasn’t he fighting harder? All the while what I didn’t know was that Mr. Cripps knew the system inside and out and knew it would not fly. Not to mention the integrity and trust he has built with the courts is stellar! They know he’s not there to just throw anything at the wall to see if it sticks. The many many times we were in court we won, EVERY TIME! And when my sons father would show with a high payed attorney that his mom payed for they would try and bs, along with my ex, and lost! The one thing I truly regret was listening to a friend who convinced me to use another attorney at a very crucial point in time, that he had used and I ended up paying probably about 6 times what I would have paid with Cripps and I know he still would have done better than she did. I still won but even she didn’t think she did. There is no doubt in my mind he would have too! And better! Mr. Cripps would always talk me down. I was very emotional, scared, lost, angry, all the things! And he was so patient with me. I will never forget the one thing I always remember and carry with me that he told me, “he will hang himself” he said to me. At the time that frustrated me but when I look back I can tell he knew the type. He simply has seen it all. Mr. Cripps has a secret guys. He reads people. He knows what he is doing without having to charge people what these other thieving lawyers do! All with integrity, honesty, trust, and just no bs! So if you are looking to spend a lot of money on a “tiger” go right ahead! But my money would be on Mr. Cripps every time! He truly is a Godsend!
